-Suspense; when a story makes my heart pound with excitement over what will happen next.
-Drama; the struggles between characters and their goals. The over emphasized interactions between cast-mates.
-Romance; love between characters, and how they go about it. A romantic at heart.
-Action; the conflict between friends and family; the final showdown between the pro and antagonist.
Hates:
-Really, not much to go under this category; with a few exceptions.
-YAOI! Seriously; unless there is any actual canon evidence that supports these kind of pairings, they should be avoided like the plague.
-Fanboy/girl-ism. This is a severe case of mental retardation if one is suffering from the ailment that is fanboy/girl-ism.
-Ignorance. Learn about something before you make an ass out of yourself.
-Embryonic plots. That is to say stories, while though their plots are interesting and could be made into a great story, they suffer from a lack of detail; and contain a heavy amount of spelling and grammar mistakes. (I do make exceptions for this little hate if the writer proves to be foreign and only has a minimal knowledge of the English language.)

The Minimalist's Biography:
I was born in the city of Calgary in the province of Alberta, Canada. There I was raised until the age of three when my family and I were posted to the moderately sized city of Kingston Ontario where I grew up to the age of seven. During those four, almost five, years of my life a few things happened to me. The first being I made my first 'true friend.' That is to say, I met my best friend Tony (his last name evades my memory as I type this) and a blonde girl by the name of Candice. The three of us would often been seen together during Recess... and sadly our friendship was broken up by the military and it's postings.

During my second year of schooling (the second grade for those of a more simpler mind,) I received my first major injury; a gash beside my right eye that resulted in a blood stain on the classroom floor, and three stitches beside my eye. During those thirty minutes I was lying on the floor crying, my hands covering my eye blocking the blood from immediate site, that I realized my 'friend' Scott was a sadist at the age of 6. He laughed at me silently as I lay there crying. We ended our friendship on mutual terms shortly thereafter. At that point, I was down to only a few remaining childhood friends; until I discovered the internet.
My friends, being Tony and Candice, had kept the others phone numbers even after our posting. So shortly after we all discovered the internet and subsequently e-mail; we began to hold conversations daily. This wasn't meant to last long as I no longer keep in contact with them; we are but shadows of our former selves.

Once more my family was posted; this time to the small town of Wainwright, Alberta. It is here I have spent the last 10 years of my life, completing my High-School Career and working on becoming an Author. Fanfiction.net is just the first step in what I hope will become an excellent career of writing.
