| Welcome!! |
Welcome to E.T. Catfishin'. We fish Pay
Lakes in, and around, Ohio. Follow us, Ed and Travis, from catchin'
bait, to fishing, to the follies. |
| Catfish range from the giants of the Mekong, to the plain Channel cat, to the wierd Spoonbill. |
Look at this monster!! This was caught in the Mekong River in Thailand. Wouldn't you like to hook into one of these?
Blue Cat's are some of the biggest freshwater Catfish in the us. The current record for a Blue Cat is 124.00 lbs. WOW!!!
Flathead
Cat's are my favorite target. They are a natural predator, eating
mostly live fish. The current record for a Flathead is 123.00
lbs. WOW!!
Channel cats are probably the most delicious of the Catfish family.
They are abundant and easy to catch. The current record for Channel
cats is 58 lbs.
Spoonbill Cats are not easy to catch. They are filter feeders and swim
with their mouths gaping open. Most of these are caught when snagged by
fisherman.

| SOLUNAR TABLES |
Every fisherman knows how variable his "luck" can be in
pursuit Catfishingt. On some days,
the fish will be abundant. On other days, the fish will ignore the choicest offerings. And that is as it
should be. On
the good days there are always times when the fish seem more ravenous, than at other times of that same day. These
periods, as a rule, last about two hours. All of us try to plan to take
advantage of those feeding periods at dawn and dusk. But the "odd-hour"
periods which occur during the day - and night-- must be stumbled upon
by luck unless we have a guide. This is where solunar tables come into play look yours up today.
