*Hello and welcome to the [ESTS] site! [ESTS] is a Halo: Combat Evolved and halo Custom Edition supported clan, (Elite Spartans Tactical Squad). It is a basic tactical clan, meaning playing team-military/navy style gaming. We try to act as if we are a part of the military, etc. by clearing rooms, working together to kill enemies, capture the flag, spot targets, etc. Stealth is our number 1 factor. Updates, infromation, meetings, etc. will be posted in the forums page, and if they will be placed elsewhere, I will be sure to tell you where to find it.
NEW!** - Halo CE ( Custom Edition) is now a fully supported game for our clan, and we encourage everyone in the clan to download this and try it out. It's quite easy to use, all you have to do is download maps from http://www.halomaps.org/ unzip the folder, and put the map file into the Halo CE maps folder. To find the Halo CE maps, click Halo CE Maps at the top of the page. You can also download the Halo CE game from this site as well as teh Halo Editing Kit (can be used to make maps). Instructions on how to get the downloaded map into Halo CE maps will be posted under this paragraph. Halo CE acts like Halo 2, and 3, by having weapons, vehicles and similar maps from those games. It's exciting and fun, so try it out!
To get your downloaded maps into the Halo CE game, make sure you have fully dowloaded the file, unzip it, then minimize the folder. Go to My Computer, then click on (C:) Drive (that's what it is most common, may be Local Drive or Disk for others, etc.). Go to Program Files, then find Microsoft Games, open the Halo Custom Edition folder, and then open Maps. Drag and drop or copy your downloaded map to the CE maps folder, and you're done! *NOTE: you can only get into certain games if you have the same map. Ex: you cannot play in a Zanzibar server unless you have the Zanzibar map downloaded.
