Chris has written a song with words! His first ever song, and as soon as it is arranged and perfected the lyrics will be up. many more songs should be on their way, and band rehearsals will start again as soon as the summer is over, as everyone is on holiday at different times. 

Helen Purcell, sister of Chris, and Alex Ward friend of Chris, are going to America next summer, and in light of Borneo Rock's recent success, Chris and Alex are organising their own gig, or at least seriously thinking about it. Eskimo will be a headline act, obviously, as will Chris' other project SRS (a metal band with Alex Ward). Other bands will be Quagmire, another band from the school, and any good band from around who wants a chance to play at a gig. It is unlikely that anyone will come across this who wants to be involved, but if you do check out the contact page.

Also Sean De Souza will be organising his own gig, this time money goes to charity in general i think. I've no doubts that Eskimo will play that gig.

What with our school being granted performing arts college status, every event the school puts on must have music, if not always from pupils. It appears that as the best card in the school's hand when it comes to bands and musicians, Mr Dolman, who coordinates the performing arts, has taken it upon himself to give us the gig. This is quite flattering as it happens, and we are always more than happy to ambassador the school.

So therefore, on 18 Sept, we will be playing in the school motor show. I learned this from the events page myself, so I'm none too sure of the arrangements.
