ESHIELS GUNDOGS

Eshiels gundogs is run by Ian and Andrea Mitchell located in the Scottish Borders. We are based just outside Peebles in the delightful rolling hills of the Scottish countryside, twenty miles south of Edinburgh.

Eshiels is an ideal training ground for gundogs, with a number of different woodlands on our door step and plenty of open moorland to train our dogs on. We aim to promote our sport in a positive light. Working gundogs is very much our passion and hobby. We plan to start our working season early in August to give our dogs as much work as possible.                     

We are a Kennel Club Accredited Breeder. Our future aim is to breed quality dogs for the shooting field.  Our breeding plan will start in 2009. All our dogs and those that we use are kennel club registered, and health checks are done on hips, eyes, and they are optigen tested where required.
