Once upon a time there was a white Escort Mexico which leaked a lot. It provided its owner (Stew), who became an expert in ignoring footwell puddles, with lots of fun before its engine exploded one day whilst overtaking a milk float in 1991.

This site charts some of the ups and downs in the attempts to get the car back on the road in the early 1990's, and provides a few lame excuses for fact that the Mexico was ignored for the rest of that decade and was only 'rediscovered' in 2001.
