Whereas
within the Amber Diceless Roleplaying Game system created by Erick
Wujcik and Roger Zelazny under the auspices of Phage Press, a
player-character’s owner may make personal contributions for additional
character creation points (ref: Amber Diceless Role-Playing, p. 28,
‘Player Contributions’) such as a Diary and/or Amber Stories.
Wherein as much as the above ‘contributions’ are not for profitable
marketing/distribution by the creator or readers for financial gain and
all information contained within the entries pertain solely to the
events of said individual role-playing game scenario, players may
produce said ‘contributions’ as they see fit upon agreement with
Game-Master of the individual game.
Whereas the character known as ‘Paris Gallant’ is a currently
active role-playing character in the Amber DRPG scenario titled “Scions
of the Unicorn” the owning player may produce, by existing
player/Game-Master agreement contributions for additional character
points, game-related graphic diary entries in-as-much the material
therein does not extend beyond the scope of information provided by the
Game-Master within the scenario itself and does not provide any
finacial gain to either party while being obviously identified as
game-related material.
‘nuff said.
What it means is that since this piece of work is roleplaying material for extra character creation points, I may continue to draw it as long as it pertains to the game in progress and I do not attempt to sell it.
Ya know, I sometimes wonder why I ever decided to get an all-in-one
machine. One thing goes down, ITS ALL DOWN, BABY!
I can't even scan in my next page without an ink cartridge in the thing. I DON'T EVEN USE THE INK CARTRIDGE WHEN I AM SCANNING SOMETHING!
Grrrr.
Well, yeah, sure. I suppose I could go and get my cartridge refilled at
the local Walgreens, (mind you, not ALL Walgreens have the equipement),
but I really don't want to go outside in the cold tonight until I absolutely have to.
I suppose, also, that I could go in and get my actual scanner and install it and hope XP will still let it work.
Fortunately, though, the page I am trying to scan is not for this week,
but next week. This will give me some time to do either of these things
I have mentioned.
Should I ever get a new system for just myself, I will probably get
separate units. Besides, it makes the computer desk look that much more
impressive when you have more toys on it!
Now, shift on over to the latest Shadow Walkers. You know you wanna...
Finally, after getting myself going again on the drawing front and updating all of the Shadowalker sites and mirrors, I can now happily say that all active Shadow Walkers venues are up-to-date and running smoothly.
These various venues include here, at webs.com, and the following: DrunkDuck.com (A free comics hosting site with A LOT of ad banners and buttons crapping up the pages. I have only posted comic pages here.) SmackJeeves.com (Another free comics hosting site with an ad banner. I have only posted comic pages here.) ComicDish.com (THE best place to host your webcomic with NO ADVERTISING and an absolutely GREAT COMMUNITY! I have posted my comic pages AND OTHER ATTRACTIONS hidden in the objects to be found on the page, one of which leads back here to this site.)
Now I have to decide as time goes on, "Do I offer t-shirts, bumber stickers, physical reprints...?"
I guess time will tell. Of course, anyone who reads this can offer up their opinions as well either by commenting on this blog or dropping by the forum or even in the guest book.
Be sure to tell all of your Amber and Zelazny fans and friends about Shadow Walkers so we can have a great big fun family of readers and maybe even get a few discussions going in the forums!
For anyone who may have been paying any attention, over the past few days you may have noticed a series of update on several fronts. Several page updates, a new webring or two and a couple of other off-stage detail being taken care of as well.
Quite a bit of activity for doing nothing for almost one year.
Now I can only hope this site will get busy with traffic as well. Hmmm... another something to look into!
I already have 3 more pages in the wings standing by. One will be up in a couple of days, the second will follow by the end of the week and the third will be up with the rest of my updates on Wed. the 14th or so.
Feel free to become a member of this site. It makes realizing an update much easier.
Well, after a dark time of working retail and being overwhelmed by the situation, I have found a new, less stressful job that has gotten my drawing Jones going again! I actually have MORE MATERIAL for this story!
I now invite whomever wishes to read on as the story of Shadow Walkers continues!
On this particular page I seemed to have had a little trouble in the last panel. Not enough for me to scrap the page, just enough to make me think, "Hmm, that could be a little better".
I seem to have put up a forum for Shadow Walker readers... how about dat? I am also fiddling with the various tools available to me here. I do have to admit though, thus far I cannot seem to find the "widgets" section.
hmmm...
I honestly don't know if all of this will amount to anything, but it has been amusing (if nothing else) toying with the system.
I have also discovered I have 40mb of space available to me...? Well... We will see just what I can do with that!
I readily admit it. I forgot entirely about ever wandering into FreeWebs.com. Never-the-less, here I am. I have decided to devote this site to my new comic project, Shadow Walkers.
It started as a 24-hour comic challenge piece. A 24-hour comic is a comic that has 24 pages done within 24 hours. You may have a concept, even a script in your head, but you may not have one written out beforehand.
The 24-hour b/w Shadow Walkers attempt fell short by about 9 pages. Not that I couldn't do 24 pages in the allotted time, I just ran out of story. Sure I could have filled and filled, but I fear that would have injured the story I was telling. As it stands, the feedback I got from my little attempt prompted me to go ahead and do the project in earnest. My main posting site for this comic is at ComicDish.com, although it is also posted at Drunk Duck and Smack Jeeves as well. The Comic Dish site has all the cool stuff though.
