All animals come with a live arrival and 5 day health guarantee, unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon.
Shipping is usually done Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.
The live arrival guarantee is contingent on the package being signed for on the first delivery attempt. All packages shipped via Fed-Ex or UPS should arrive by noon, at the latest. 10:30 is usually the norm. Delta Dash is available in some situations. I need to be contacted within 12 hours of any DOA, and I will need to be provided with pictures and a reference date ( newspaper works well ).
All animals sold will be mite and tick free, and properly sexed with no obvious health ailments. Unless otherwise discussed, all animals will NOT be treated for internal parasites. I do not beleive in "shotgunning" or other misguided attempts to rid an animal of internal parasites. The best advice is to take the animal to a vet, get a fecal, and strategically de-parasitize. Panacur and Flagyl will take care of most common parasites, but the common parasites won't kill a healthy animal. The uncommon and hard to kill parasites will, hence the fecal and vet advice. It is well worth the initial cost. Also realize that true de-parasitization take between 6-10 months depending on what parasites you're working with. I have many animals in my personal collection that have never seen any de-wormers, as I let them cycle off the majority of the parasites naturally. Proper husbandry plays a key role in whether the animal can deal with the parasite load or not. Captivity should be relatively stress free, so parasite loads shouldn't be much of a problem. Again, make sure you have a local Veterinarian available if you run into problems. I will make myself available as much as I can, and will be able to lend some experience or advice if need be.
