Here at Equinox Acres we have a wide variety of horses, from Shetlands to top class eventers!
Lessons are available with our highly qualified instructors and hacks and cross country rides are also available. We cater for all needs and requirements and will take on any horse or rider that is having difficulties! Livery and stud services are also available on request.
As well as the yard and small stud here in Scotland, we also co-own a small portion of land with the BLM in the US. It is here that our Mustangs live in peace and freedom - just as nature intended! For a small fee, you can 'sponsor a mustang' and all the money raised goes to their upkeep and the maintenance of the land that they live on.
We also have a few domesticated mustangs here at EA, our grey stallion - Zepher being one of them. We also run 'own a pony' days at the main yard, where, for a small fee, you can 'own' one of our schoolies for a day and take care of their every need. (As well as spoiling them rotten!)
Shows and competitions are run throughout the year and are suitable for all ages and abilites!
Inside you will find a host of interesting things...from the horses themselves to piebald-painting tutorials!
I hope you enjoy wandering through my stables and meeting all the residents.
Just a quick note to say that I do not, under any circumstances tolerate theives. If I find out that anyone has stolen any of my photographs and claimed them as their own I will hunt you down. It is theft and is NOT a nice thing to do to anyone. I only say this as I know of some hobbyists whose show photos have been nicked and the thief has renamed them and tried to show with them.
This is 100% NOT acceptable and morally wrong. I appreciate that not everyone can take good photographs, due to a shoddy camera or whatever but that is no excuse to undermine the hard work of other people. I don't think that anyone would steal any of mine but if you were to see any of them somewhere without the name Christine Sutcliffe, Equinox Acres or Elrenia_Greenleaf present then please email me and let me know. Thanks for reading this long rant and I give you a virtual chocolate biscuit in return.
Don't forget to sign the guestbook!
(Just please don't abuse it, if you need to advertise shows and things then please, don't use it as a bilboard...ask if you can be added to the links page.
I'm also really fed up of people posting on there just to say that they're updated their own sites - this is spamming and your messages WILL be deleted if you keep doing it!)
