Thanks for visiting our homepage. Evangelical Presbyterian Students' Union-LEGON is the student movement of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, on the University Of Ghana Campus. Its membership is made up of both members and non-members of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. However we have been duly inaugurated as a Church on campus and operate as such.

The group on campus seeks;

• To inculcate in the members the fear of God through effective Bible study and Prayer and to encourage witnessing for the Lord Jesus Christ.
• To carry out evangelism on campus and beyond
• To provide a medium by which interest in Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana shall be promoted among her members on campus.
• To perpetuate individual acquaintances and friendship and thereby bind the students into a united fellowship for the spiritual and social well being of all members.

~EXECUTIVES~

The Executive Committee is made up of the following offices;

President, Vice President,Secretary,Assistant Secretary,Organising Secretary, Assistant Organizing Secretary, Financial Secretary,Treasure,Hall Representatives, Prayer Secretaries, Evangelism Secretary, Music Director ,Mother, Elder(s) and a ladies wing president.

~MUSIC MINISTRY~

It provides appropriate and soul lifting and enriching songs during praise and worship times and all other occasions that call for music. It has a formidable and dynamic choir and the evergreen Glorious Voices and a Praise and worship team, which at any point in time are ever ready to relieve people of their Emotional,Physical,Psychological and Spiritual dilemmas through song ministration. The times for rehearsals are Fridays,7-9pm and Saturdays 4-6pm for the Choir Saturdays 8-10pm for Glorious Voices and 7:00-8:00p.m for the Praise and worship team. Venue for all meetings is E9,Top of the University Bookshop

~EVANGELISM COMMITEE ~

The evangelism committee undertakes various activities such as campus outreach, hospital ministrations and Bible studies on Sunday mornings before church service. See to teaching of new converts. They also oversee the organisation of all crusades held in towns and villages in the country. Remember Jesus in His words in Mark 16:15 ’’Go ye into the world and preach the Gospel to every creature’ It meets on Saturdays 6:00-8:00pm

~TECHNICAL TEAM~

This is a dynamic department, which comprises of instrumentalists, ushers and technicians. The department requires much dedication and commitment; hence the mode of qualification is based on one's willingness to serve selflessly whenever called upon. It meets every Saturday 5:00-6:00p.m.

~PRAYER BAND~

This is the Holy Spirit-inspired powerhouse and engine room of the church. It shoulders the responsibility of travailing and tarrying through prayer for the whole church. All with the zeal to pray are invited to join these gallant warriors of Christ who meet every Thursday at 8:00-9:00p.m. behind the Balm Libray.It is also in charge of the Church's Dawn prayer Sessions on the Sarbah Field every Wednesday from 5:00-6:00a.m.

LADIES WING

Ladies wing is the women movement of the Church. It aims at nurturing responsible Christian ladies on campus and the outside world. It employs all methods of Biblical womanhood in training the ladies.

~PUBLICITY/COORDINATING DESK~

A desk directly supervised by the Vice President which coordinates all programmes especially Sunday Services. All Church paraphernalia are also available at the desk.
