news/updates:

6.03.10 - so i'm trying to get a gig together that will incorporate greek and norse gods/goddesses done in traditional 17th century oil portrait style. (not using oils of course, since i despise them.) i have 16 pieces in total i want to do, but i'm having a difficult time wrangling my friends together to model for me so i can have reference photos. anyway, it may get done some day.
i started working at voodoo doughnuts a few weeks ago, and have finals for school, so i've been busy, but i hope the summertime will bring plenty of open hours for me to draw more.

4.24.10 - went to the stumptown comics fest today and was overwhelmed a bit. saw a brief glitter of motivation and inspiration from everyone showing there, but like i mentioned, it was brief. my favorites at the show: angie wang and julia gfrorer.
also i got me a new email address: deadcrowink@gmail.com. HOW CREATIVE!

3.25.10 - just a quick morning update. categorized the gallery by year. HOW EXCITING! changed the 'about' section. added one new art piece to the gallery. wowza.

3.24.10 - yay! DCI lives again! i finally got the gallery to work (thanks lytebox). anyway, hopefully this will be 100% by april. i'm going to be somewhat featured in a local publication coming up too (unless that falls through for some reason...) and on an entirely unrealted note, i've become addicted to lady gaga.

7.31.09 - wow i'm alive! redid the layout again again again. pardon the dust. got some new material online. i also drew up a tattoo for myself and got it done a few weeks ago by DZ at skeleton key tattoo who did an awesome job and gave me a great deal. it's not finished yet, but you get the general idea:



this tiny picture doesn't do it justice, so i'll try to get a better one up in the gallery.

4.24.09 - not much has been happening art-wise. i'm looking for a job and going to school, which seems to take up most of my time. but i did drive up to michael's last night and got some art supplies for something i HOPE will turn out ok. hint: the theme is fox, badger, crow. hella.

3.17.09 - my friend zach asked me to do a mural for an art show/house show at his house, so i took a day and painted loki up on the wall. finished in time for a moped party. i think it looks pretty neat.



3.12.09 - new layout AGAIN. more illustrations uploaded. oh yeah.

2.26.09 - new layout i made for no real reason. got some new art, but i'm tired from making the HTML for all of this at the moment, so i'll upload later.

1.29.09 - happy new years to everybody. added 3 more illustrations; what else? nothing. that's all you get. oh wait, no, i lied. another website banner y'all can use to link to me. thazzit. may be working on a few commisions around portland... we'll see.

10.17.08 - added a counter; let's see if anyone even looks at this site. more stuff coming.

9.18.08 - uploaded the illustration i did for this year's clown run. my next project is to get cards of some sort made. excitement!

9.13.08 - just finished getting everything on the website, so it's all done (for now at least; i think this will be forever under construction.) finishing up some projects, brainstorming ones i have yet to begin. looking to get paid by someone. nothing new, everything good.
