Welcome to Eon!

Allow me to be the first to welcome you to the Eon Virtual Galaxy!  Here at Eon, we believe in working hard to provide all of our players with a great game experience.  Eon is an online, forum-based RPG/RTS that is 100% free!  We have created a unique galaxy and set of rules for players that are simple and easy to comprehend.   The game takes place over forums, so there are no big downloads or anything!  Just sign up and start playing!

In Eon, players can create their own character with unique abilites and skills that eneable them to do many things well.  Players can join a one of the fifteen factions and rise through the ranks, or choose to go out and explore our over 110 systems and do whatever they like.  Players earn credits, and can purchase weapons, armor, items, and land/space vehicles.

GRAND OPENING! 6/18/05:

The game has begun!  The site and forums have been updated, and players can begin playing.  Please read the rules before you start.

Also, if you sign up by the end of June 2005, you recieve 25 bonus skill points to place under whatever skills you want for your character for our grand opening special!

Game Status Report 6/17/05:

The date has been set!

The Eon Virtual Galaxy Game starts tommorw, Saturday June 18th! 

Tommorow the game will start and the rules will be posted and the forums will be updated!  There will also be a grand opening celebration for the whole week after opening, in which any player who starts playing gets bonus stats and money!  Don't miss your chance!  Sign up today!

Game Status Report 6/15/05:

It's almost here!  The pieces have all come together, and the game should start this weekend!  This week, I plan to update the site, post the rules, and add to the forums, so if the site or forums are down, you'll know why! 

Keep your eye on the site and forums this week for the grand opening! 

Current Game Status Report

Right now, Eon is still being created!  Our master game designers are working on the game as you read and the game's grand opening will occur in a few weeks.  Sorry we can't give you any more information, but we do promise that the game will be great and well worth the wait.  Rules and more info on the game will come up about a week before the game starts.  Forums will be avaliable for posting in very soon.
