EastEnders psycho Stella Crawford will die falling off a roof on her wedding day to Phil Mitchell.
Evil Stella (Sophie Thompson) makes the shock exit after weeks of emotionally abusing Phil’s young son Ben.
And Phil (Steve McFadden) will be fingered for the crime as there is a riddle over whether Stella jumped or was pushed. Show chiefs were keeping tight-lipped as to whether Phil and Stella even get married first.
So far fans of the BBC1 soap have been shocked as the wicked witch of the East End carried out sick stunts including pouring water in Ben’s bed to make him think he wet it.
And Stella also stood back and watched as Ben (Charlie Jones) was beaten up by school bullies.
Sophie, 40, admitted recently: "The mind boggles as to how Phil will react when he finds out."
EastEnders bosses have worked with the NSPCC charity while filming the traumatic abuse plotline.
Last night a show spokesman said: "We never discuss storylines."

A new two-member Muslim family, headed by Goodness Gracious Me actress Nina Wadia, will make their debut in EastEnders this summer.
The 38-year-old comedienne will play Zainab Masood, a strong-willed woman in her early 40s who owns a string of post offices including the Walford branch.
An EastEnders source revealed: "Her direct manner can be hugely intimidating and sparks will fly with Denise. Underneath her fierce manner, however, Zainab is great fun and has a wicked sense of humour."
Of her new role, Nina said: "I'm thrilled to join the show and I can't wait for Zainab to come to the Square and cause some trouble."
Arriving at the same time is newcomer Zahra Ahmadi, who will play Zainab's daughter, Shabnam.
The show source added: "Shabnam's definitely going to turn heads. She's 21, fresh from university and has no idea what she wants to do with her life. To keep her going, her mum gives her a job at the Post Office."
Speaking of her signing, Zahra said: "I've watched EastEnders as long as I can remember and I'm really excited to be joining the cast. It was very surreal walking into the Square and seeing all the face I'd grown up watching. I felt like I knew them."
Executive Producer Diederick Santer commented: "I'm enormously excited to welcome Nina Wadia to EastEnders. She's a brilliant comedy actress and I'm sure her character Zainab will showcase all her comic and dramatic talents.
He added: "Newcomer Zahra is a real find. She's warm and great fun. I'm confident that Masood will be a big hit with viewers."
Both actresses begin filming in the next couple of weeks and will be on screen from mid-summer.
Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell are set to rock up in Albert Square later this year. The sisters are strong, single and sexy. They've been running a bar in Ibiza, but turn up to see their cousin, Phil. Sparks are sure to fly when this pair hit town!
The new characters have not yet been cast. Don't forget to check out this space again to find out who does get cast for these roles.

Twisted Dr. May Wright actress Amanda Drew and on-screen partner Rob Minter (Stuart Laing) will dramatically bow out of EastEnders when the Square's Rob-Dawn-May baby plot reaches its eagerly-anticipated climax,
Next week sees Rob and May hold Dawn (Kara Tointon) hostage in their countryside retreat, where May threatens to get her hands on Dawn's baby by any means possible.
But May's dream of a perfect family life with Rob quickly crumbles around her.
Last month, producers took the decision to axe their baby abduction storyline due to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann in Portugal.
And, despite having filmed nearly all of the original scripts, show bosses re-wrote and re-shot the entire culmination of the plot.
Hinting at the warped doctor's fate, a show source told us, "There are some really shocking scenes to come. Viewers won't believe how far Mad May pushes it to get what she wants - but will she succeed? Or will she meet an unexpected demise?"
Of her exit, Amanda Drew said: "May has been a fantastic role to play. I've really enjoyed playing the part over the past few months and it's been an amazing plot to be part of. Although she didn't start out bad, I think it's right she goes as it's indefensible what she does."
Executive producer Diederick Santer told us: "Dr May and Rob - Amanda Drew and Stuart Laing - have led Dawn and the audience a merry dance this year.
"They have both given fantastic, gripping performances and we have loved having them. We wish them both all the best for the future."

Barbara Windsor has broken her wrist and sprained her ankle in a fall while filming.
The EastEnders actress was left in a splint after the trip on-set in London. It's been said that she was collecting her breakfast from the canteen while working on scenes for Pauline Fowler’s funeral.
A spokeswoman for EastEnders said: "Barbara Windsor had a fall whilst filming on location over the weekend. She has sprained her ankle and fractured her wrist and is in a splint for the next couple of weeks.
"The surgeon will then decide whether she then needs to wear a cast for six weeks. She is now back filming with us as of yesterday."

The actor, who plays Joe Macer, will meet an explosive end after nearly a year married to whingeing Pauline Fowler.
Ray best known as the voice of cartoon character Mr Benn will leave in January, just weeks after po-faced Pauline is killed off on Christmas Day. Last night, a show insider said: With Pauline going, there’s not much more we could do with Ray’s character.
“Viewers will see him leave in January and it’s going to be a dramatic exit. The source added: Ray is fine with the decision.
It marks the end of a difficult year for the 67-year-old actor who endured a challenging working relationship with unhappy EastEnders legend Wendy Richard.
Wendy, 63, previously admitted the pair didn’t share the same chemistry as she had with first on-screen hubby Bill Treacher who played her beloved ‘Arfur’. And she told The Sun how she quit over Pauline’s second marriage because she felt it betrayed her character.
Wendy explained: The bosses all thought we looked good together on screen. But when I watched it back, I just thought it looked like I was working very hard. I’ve had a lot of people come up to me and say, ‘You should never have married.’
