ISC Alternate Colour Options
|
After some recent discussion from the ISC Helpers' Yahoo group, concerning the choices of colours available for the board and tiles, I thought I'd put a few alternatives up here for download, for those who don't particularly care for the options provided. There are now 5 to choose from, and I would still be happy to try and meet any specific colour requests. These downloads will replace the colours in the options menu on ISC, labelled 'green', for the board, and 'cloud' for the tiles. I've also included a 'Default' file, which will put the colours back to their original, if you want to have the old ones back. Hope they are of some use!

You will need an archive program such as Winzip, to 'unzip' the files into the required folder. These programs are widely available online, if you don't already have one, from sites such as www.winzip.com.
Simply click on the file to download, open the zip file in your archive program, and extract the files into the folder 'C:\program files\wordbiz\image\', (providing you installed the Wordbiz program to its default location - if not, then the path should be to where your wordbiz folder is, and then the subfolder 'image\'), making sure to select to replace any old files. Now, start wordbiz as normal, and select 'green' and 'cloud' for board and tile colours in the ISC options menu, and you should have them.

ORIGINAL
(Now with clearer tiles.)
This one is designed to approximate the colours that I prefer to use in the board diagrams for this site, similar to the default ASP colours, only with cream tiles. It makes the 'latest move' highlight and '0' on the blanks a little harder to see, but I think the trade off is worth it.

WORDBIZ STANDARD
This file will put the colours back to the ones provided with Wordbiz.
CLASSIC
A nice 'clean' look, with flat white tiles, and a wood-coloured board.

OCEAN
Cool watery colours to calm the Scrabble nerves!

ORANGE
Inspired by my last tiles purchase. "The future's bright, the future's .... er, Scrabble!"

QI
An oriental theme for this one, with the yin/yang symbol for the board, and the Chinese character for 'qi' on the tiles. Now QI is even more likely to be played during your games!
