ENNISKILLEN  RANGERS   YOUTH  FOOTBALL  CLUB 

           

RULES AND CONSTITUTION

 

 

1 NAME AND COLOURS                                                                                                         

 

(a) The Club shall be known as Enniskillen Rangers Youth Football Club

(b)  The Club colours shall be Red and White

 

2 OBJECTS

      The objects for which the club is established are as follows

(a)    To promote further and encourage interest in the sport of football.

(b)   To provide the necessary facilities required for training and competing.

(c)    To provide an environment in which the youth of the local area can receive the best possible coaching .

 

    3 MEMBERSHIP

 

(a)    Membership means a period of twelve months beginning at the date of the Annual General Meeting.

(b)   A member of the Club who is under Eighteen years of age

(c)    An adult who is elected onto a committee to help run he affairs of the club.

(d)   All members will have a vote at the AGM if they are a registered member of the club and are fully paid up any subscriptions due or set by the committee.      

(e)    Membership of the club shall be open to anyone interested in the sport of football regardless of sex, disability, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation or beliefs. However limitations of membership according to available facilities is allowable on a non- discriminatory basis.

(f)     Membership of the Club may be obtained by application or invitation, or by registering as a player for the club with any of the League or Association affiliated to the Irish  Football Association.

 

   4 HONORARY MEMBERSHIP

 

(a)    The Management Committee shall, if it thinks fit, elect any person who has rendered considerable service to the club or to the advancement of any of the Objects of the club to be an Honorary Member.

(b)   An Honorary Member shall not have a vote at any Annual General Meeting.

 

 5 SUBSCRIPTIONS

 

(a)    The Annual subscription shall be payable by the 31 July each season.

 

 

 

(b)   The amount of the subscription for each membership year shall be determined by the Management Committee at its first meeting each season.

(c)    The Management committee may remove from membership any person whose subscription is in arrears.

(d)   Any person whose subscription is in arrears is not entitled to vote at  the Annual General Meeting of the club.

 

   6 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

 

(a)    The Annual General Meeting of the club shall be between 31 October and 31 December each year.

(b)   The Annual General Meeting shall be called by giving not less than fourteen days notice of the meeting to each member.

(c)    Twelve youth members constitutes a quorum at an Annual General meeting.

(d)   The accidental omission to give notice of an Annual General Meeting to, or the non receipt of an Annual General Meeting by, any member shall not invalidate the proceedings at the Annual General Meeting.

(e)    To receive the reports of the Officers of the club

(f)     To elect the Management Committee

(g)    To consider any other business with the consent of the Chairman.

(h)    To consider any business or alterations to rules , notice of which has to be given to the secretary in writing not less than seven days before the meeting.

 

 

   7 EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING

 

(a)    An extraordinary general meeting of the club shall be held whenever the management committee consider it expedient, or whenever twelve adult members make a written request  to the club secretary specifying the object of the meeting provided such a meeting has not been called in the previous two months.

(b)    The honorary secretary shall convene an extraordinary general meeting within twenty eight days of the date when he receives a request which complies with the rule   

(c)    An extraordinary general meeting shall be called by giving not less than seven days notice to each member specifying the objects thereof.

(d)    An extraordinary general meeting shall consider only such matters as specified in a written request.

(e)    Fifteen adult members constitute a quorum at an extraordinary general meeting

(f)      The accidental omission to give notice of an extraordinary general meeting to, or the non receipt of notice of an extraordinary general meeting b, an member shall not invalidate the proceedings at the meeting.

 

 

 

 

 

8 THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

 

(a)    Shall consist of the Office bearers  Chair person, Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Chair person, Assistant Treasurer, Assistant Secretary.

(b)   The remained of the Management Committee will be up to seven other members.

(c)    The management  of the club shall be vested in the management committee which shall consist of the office bearers and seven other members

(d)   Four members one of whom shall be an officer of the club constitute a quorum.

(e)    The committee shall appoint such sub committees as it thinks fit and may delegate to any sub committee such functions as it considers appropriate

 

 

9 ACCOUNTS

 

(a)    The Management Committee shall cause proper accounts to be kept showing the income and expenditure of the club in each year ending 31 October.

(b)   The Management Committee shall cause a duly audited balance sheet showing the financial position of the club at the 31 October to be presented to the Annual General Meeting of the club.         

           

10 INDEMNIITY

 

No member of the club shall be liable for acts,   receipts, neglects or defaults of any other loss or damage arising from the bankruptcy, insolvency or tortuous act of any person with whom any monies, securities or effects of the club are deposited, or for any other loss, damage or misfortune whatsoever which occurs unless it occurs through his own wilful act or default.

 

11 ALTERATION TO RULES

 

            These rules shall not be altered except at a general meeting of the club by resolution passed by two thirds of those present entitled to vote at a general meeting.

 

 

 

 

 

 

   

 

ENNISKILLEN RANGERS YOUTH FOOTBALL CLUB

 

 

             Fair Play Policy For Junior Club Members.

 

 

 

1                    Players play for enjoyment and to improve performance, not just to please parents or coaches.

 

2                    Where rules apply , players try to understand them and stick to them.

 

3                    Players accept the decision of coaches and officials.

Players will control their tempers at all times.

 

4                    Players will be good sports, they will cheer all good play, whether it is our players team or an opponents.

 

5                    The aim of the game is to have fun, improve skills and to feel good.

 

6                    Players will work equally hard for themselves and the team.       

 

7                    Players will treat all players as they themselves would like to be treated. They will not bully or take unfair advantage of any players.

 

8                    Players will co-operate with the coach, team mates and opponents without them there is not a game. 

 

9          Publicly accept an officials judgement and never question their honesty

ENNISKILLEN RANGERS YOUTH FOOTBALL CLUB

 

                        Enniskillen Rangers Youth Football Club believes that parents play a very important role in their child s development in sport. To that end the club would ask all  

arents to contribute to the junior club and their child s participation in sport. In particular the club expects all parents to

 

1      Encourage but not force an unwilling child to participate in sport or in or club

 

2      Recognise that children s enjoyment in sport and as a member of this club is paramount.

 

3      Emphasise enjoyment and fun and praise and reinforce any improvement.

 

4          Promote and teach fair play by setting a good example.

 

5          Teach their child that effort and team work   are as important as winning.

 

6          Help their child to set realistic goals, improve their skills and develop a positive sporting attitude.

 

7          Never ridicule or shout at any child for making a mistake or losing a competition.

 

8           Acknowledge and applaud good play by all players .Parents/ guardians should set an example by being friendly towards the opposing team, its supporters and parents.

 

9          Publicly accept an officials judgement and never question their honesty.

 

10      Support all efforts to remove verbal and physical abuse from children sporting activities.

 

11      Express any concerns about their child or club to the nominated officer.

 

12      Recognise the importance and value of coaches and others within the club who give their time, expertise and resources to provide opportunities for young people.

 

13      Offer whatever assistance they can to the running of the junior club and  support the club and their child where possible ie by providing transport to training, competitions , watching matches and training sessions. Making sure that their child has appropriate clothing and equipment, supporting fund raising and social events.

JUNIOR CLUB CO- ORDINATOR

 

 

Job Title            Junior Club Co-Ordinator

 

 

Responsible            For the running of  and the supervision of the junior section.

 

 

Responsible To             The Junior Club Management Committee

 

 

 

 

Main Duties                  To co-ordinate the coaches and coaching for the junior club

 

Responsible for providing an annul report and action plan for the junior club.

 

To identify training needs for coaches, volunteers, young people, parents etc and source potential training courses

 

To ensure there are regular, appropriate, competitive opportunities for junior members within the club and with other clubs

 

To  recruit , in line with club procedures, additional volunteers  to assist in the running of the junior club

 

To encourage young people to take responsibility for running of junior club

 

To ensure the Management committee is aware of junior clubs activities and to ensure links with senior club.

 

To promote junior club to local schools.

 

To abide by and promote the clubs child protection and fair play policy to all members.
