| THE FIG TREE Who and what is the Fig tree and all the other trees in
Luke 21:29-32 (KJV) And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; The word the means a definite article not just any fig tree. The fig tree is the nation of Israel which shot forth as a nation in 1948; some say 1967 was the year that they shot forth because they didn’t control the city until then. The fact is that they didn’t have to have total control of Jerusalem to be a nation. They don’t have total control of Jerusalem even as of today.(2004)and they will not have until the signing of the 7 year covenant with Israel and many nations Dan. 9:27 .All the other trees are the approx. 100 Gentile nations that have shot forth as a nation since 1948. Lk.21:30When they now shoot forth, [ when they become a nation.] ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. [Summer is symbolic of harvest Proverbs 10:5.] Lk.21:31So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of Eloheem (God) is nigh at hand. [ The second coming of Jesus to the earth at Armageddon to set up his kingdom. ] Lk.21:32Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.[ The generation that was alive during 1948 will not pass away until all be fulfilled . The resurrection of the church ;The7 years of tribulation and the battle of Armageddon.] This is Jesus second coming to the earth at Armageddon when the whole nation of Israel gets saved Zech.3:9-10 in with this parable. Jesus said in Mark 13:28-37 (KJV) Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near: 29So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors. 30Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. 31Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my Words shall not pass away. 32But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. 33Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. 34For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. 35Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 36Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. 37And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. [We must also tie LK.12:35-40 in with this Parable to get a full understanding.] Luke 12:35-40 (KJV) Let your loins be girded about, [ Let yourself be girded with the truth ,be ye not deceived with false doctrine ]and your lights burning; [ Let the anointing remain in you ( see the ten virgins) ] Lk.12:36And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; [ The marriage supper of the Lamb ] that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. [ This is speaking to the Jews about after the marriage supper of the Lamb ,when he comes to receive the whole nation of Israel whom will all get saved just before the battle of Armageddon Zech.3:9-10 and when Jesus comes with all the saints in Heaven to set up his kingdom here on the earth.] Lk.12:37Blessed are those servants, whom YAHSHUA (the lord) when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
[Ezekiel 36:28 (KJV) And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your Eloheem (God).]
Lk.12:38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
[This is the same as in Mark 13:35 (KJV) Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: ]
Lk.12:39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. 40Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
Habakkuk 3:16-17 (KJV) When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops. 17Although the fig tree shall not blossom, [The nation of Israel as a whole will not repent.] Hab.3:17b.neither shall fruit be in the vines; [ The people themselves will not repent and bring forth labors ] Hab.3:17c. the labour of the olive shall fail, [ This is symbolic of Judah and their unwillingness to serve Eloheem (God).] Hab.3:17d.and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: [Malachi 4:2 (KJV) But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. [ The people will not be taught the sacred name of Eloheem (God) YahWeh and will not be taught the Word of YahWeh.The people shall not have a place of rest, Jeremiah 13:17 (KJV) But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the Lord's flock is carried away captive. ] Joel 1:6-7 (KJV) For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, [ Babylon ] and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion. 7He hath laid my vine waste, [ The Jews that are serving Eloheem (God); The ones that are part of his vine they have all been removed from their promised land and their Temple has been destroyed . ]Joel 1:7b. and barked my fig tree: [ The removal of the nation as a whole with its Government. ] Joel 1:7c. he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; [The complete removal of all the people. ] Joel 1:7d. the branches thereof are made white. [ The fornication and Idolatry of the Jews with by turning to the false gods of Babylon .And taking on of all their sinful ways.]
Next we will see the Fig tree cursed on Palm Sunday 32 AD and see it shoot forth Palm Sunday May 15th. 1948 .
They are many prophecies in the Tenack which tells us when Israel would become a nation again after being scattered throughout the world. This Prophecy of Eze.4:3-5 is a simple math problem (Part one written by Moses, Part two by Ezekiel). When the simple "7th" grade math problem is worked out, our answer is May 15th, 1948.
In Leviticus chapter 25, God told His people to plant crops 6 years, let the land rest 1 year, a sabbath for the land.
In Leviticus chapter 26, God promises blessings for obedience, but He also warns them for disobedience. When you get to the 18th verse, He said He would punish them 7 more times if they do not hearken unto Him.
Israel had 70 yrs. To hearken to the Lord but they didn’t so. He took the remainder of the sentence & multiplied it by 7.
In 606 BC, the nation of Babylon was appointed by God to conquer and overthrow the Israelites. This is where their sentence begins. They would be in bondage for 70 years before their probationary time would begin. (II Chronicles 36:21, Daniel 9:2, Jeremiah 29:10)
They did not let the land rest every 7th year for a total of 490 years. A total of 70 Sabbaths for the land to rest. (Lev 25:1-4)
The total length of time was revealed to Ezekiel in the 4th chapter, verses 4-6. He was instructed to lie on his left side 390 days for the house of Israel then on his right side 40 days for the house of Judah. The end of verse 6 tells us that one day equals one year.......
390 + 40 = 430 days
one day = one year
430 total years of bondage to Gentile nations (Jail Sentence).
We begin our calculations in the year 606 BC
606 BC - 70 = 536 BC.. In 536 BC their probationary period would begin and would end in the year 176 BC if they would have hearkened unto the Lord. Only 4% to 7% did (Ezra lists the families who hearkened unto the Lord & went home, the rest stayed in Babylon). They did not hearken unto God, and in 536 BC, God multiplied the remainder by 7.
We will deal with shortly what God did because they wouldn’t hearken unto him in Zech. 1:16-21 and Jeremiah 16:14-21
We must first deduct the 70 years that God had allowed them to repent.
430 - 70 = 360 yrs 360yrs x 7 = 2,520 yrs
Now the nation of Israel would have to wait another 2,520 yrs before they be free...one problem, we have to convert from Biblical yrs to calendar years.
The calendar God uses The Hebrew one only has 360 days to a year (Lunar years, from new moon to new moon). The calendar we use today has 365 days, 1 extra day every 4 years, Leap year (this is commonly known as the Julian calendar).
THE CONVERSION :
2,520 yrs X 360 days = 907,200 days
Now divide 907,200 days by 365.25 yrs
Total calendar yrs = 2,483.77
2,483.77 - 536 BC = 1947.77
Note: The years 1 BC - 1 AD were counted as 1 year instead of 2 yrs, therefore; we need to add 1 year to our calculations.
1947.77 + 1 = 1948.77
The Jewish New Year is Rosh Hashanna and falls in September or early October (it depends on the moon).
.77 months brings you to May of 1948
Israel became a nation on the 15th day of May in 1948 Hebrew time.
Which I believe was Palm Sunday meaning Passover would have been the following Wed. evening May 19th.3-6 pm. If this be true then they where cut off ,the Fig tree cursed the morning after Palm Sunday and the Fig tree shot forth on Palm Sunday and became a Nation again.
We can see the rejection and the cutting off of Israel in Mark 11:13-14 (KJV) And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, [ This is symbolic of what was to be the rejection at the cross of the nation of Israel because of their rejection of him and because they weren’t bearing fruit; he found nothing but leaves; This is symbolic of Isreal being a kingdom with a Government.] Mk.11:13b. for the time of figs was not yet. {The figs/fruit come after the leaves.Israel wasn’t bearing fruit and it wasn’t time fro them. Jesus was cutting them off until the last days
when God will bring them back as a Nation “shooting forth with leaves” which has already come to pass and then the whole nation will be born again in one day at the battle of Armageddon Zec.3:9-10}[ Because of their rejection of Jesus he was a going to cut them off and give salvation to another nation the Gentiles
.It no longer was their time Matthew 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of Eloheem (God) shall be taken from you,and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. ] [ After the 7 years of tribulation the whole nation of Israel will bear fruit and be saved in one day. Zech. 3:9
Romans 11:25-26 (KJV) For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:[All Israel shall be saved just before the messiah comes at Armageddon.]”see the prophetic wonders”
Isaiah 4:3 (KJV) And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem: [He that is left at the end of the 7 years of tribulation.]
Joel 2:22 (KJV) Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.[The beast of the field are the evil men of the earth that seek to devour Israel ] [The fig tree is the nation of Israel and the Vine is Yahshua (Jesus). Israel will rule with a rod of iron by the 144,000 Jews and Yahshua(Jesus will rule the whole earth.]
Mark 11:14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. [ ahee-ohn'; from the same as Greek 104 (aei); properly an age; (Jewish) a Messianic period (present or future) This was just for an age or period of time the times of the Gentiles. ] And his disciples heard it. ) Matthew 13:31-32 (KJV) Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: 32Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof. We are suppose to have the faith as a grain of mustard seed not of a grain of mustard seed. See we are to grow in faith as the mustard seed does and become big and strong in the Lord. Matthew 21:21 (KJV) Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. What is Jesus a talking about when he speaks of this mountain? 1st. We must ask what is a mountain in the word of God ? Almost always unless a certain mountain is given the word mountain is a kingdom. 2nd. What kingdom is during this time the Roman Empire, as the faith of the beleivers grew the Roman Empire fell because of Christanity. That mountain was cast into the Sea.
Luke 17:6 (KJV) And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine “ soo-kam'-ee-nos; Fig” tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you. Here Jesus is connecting this parable with the Fig Tree.
Mark 11:20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. { same as in Isaiah 27:11 When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: Jer.12:15 And it shall come to pass after I bare uprooted them, I will again have compassion upon them, —and will bring them back—Every man—to his own inheritance and Every man—to his own land.
Ezekiel 36:8-11 (KJV) But ye, O mountains of Israel,[ The tribes of Israel ] ye shall shoot forth your branches,[ Shoot forth as a Nation Lk. 21:34;Mt.24:32 ] and yield your fruit to my people of Israel [ The whole nation of Israel will be saved Zech. 3:9-10 (KJV) For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith YAHWEH (the Lord) of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. 10In that day, [ That day is at the battle of Armageddon when Eloheem (God) sets up his Kingdom here on the earth.] Zec.3:10b. saith YAHWEH (the Lord) of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine [ Jesus ] and under the fig tree.[ The nation of Israel will rule the world with a rod of iron .]; Ez:36:8b.for they are at hand to come. [ When they shoot forth as a nation Lu.21:29 ( 1948 )they are at hand to come “ this generation shall not pass away until all be fulfilled” ] Ez.36:9For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown:
[ During the tribulation the 144,000Jews the first fruits of Israel the man child of Rev.12 will preach the gospel to the whole nation.] Ez.36:10And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded: 11And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am YahWeh (the Lord).
[This is my oppinion] YahWeh tells us in Hosea 6:2 (KJV) After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. [ That he will revive the nation of Israel 2 days or two milleniums after his death. He was crucified in 30 A.D. this would mean he would have to revive the nation of Israel before the year 2030. The whole nation of Israel will be saved in one day at Armageddon which will be 7 years after the resurrection of the church. This means that the resurrection has to take place within the next 19 years by this prophecy . Yahshua said we would not no the day nor the hour but we would no the seasons. Then the third day after his resurrection or the third millenium which would be the 7th. Day or 7th. Millenium; the nation of Israel will be raised up and rule the whole world with a rod of iron. [See Dan. 70th. Wk.]
Isaiah 27:6-13 (KJV) He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit. [ God will plant Israel again as a nation like a vineyard, and they shall blossom and bud again and fulfill their calling of filling the world with fruit of righteousness . All nations will be blessed by them (Isaiah 5:7)
7Hath he smitten him, as he smote those that smote him? or is he slain according to the slaughter of them that are slain by him? [God did not destroy His people even though they crucified him. He did and will destroy Israel’s enemies who seek to destroy them. He punished Israel for their sins but He will redeem and restore them, whereas He destroyed their enemies] (Isaiah 63:1-5; Zech. 14; Matthew 25:31-46).
8In measure, when it shooteth forth, [When the Fig Tree shoots forth as a nation “1948” ] thou wilt debate with it: [ Many will debate if Israel is or is not the Fig Tree.] This proving that Israel is the Fig tree. ] he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind. 9By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.
[ The whole nation will be saved at the last day of the tribulation just before Armageddon. Zech.3:9-10 ] 10Yet the defenced city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, [The city and the Temple will will be left desolate naw-veh'; habitation- a home, of God (temple), and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof. [Because God left the Temple desolate the flock will not have food and the leaves will wilter and Israel as a nation will cease]11When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: [ Israel was broken off because of unbeleif Romans 11:20 (KJV) Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: ] the women come, [ The Kingdoms come ,Babylon, Medo Persia,Grecia and Rome ]
and set them on fire: [The city was burnt by Babylon and destroyed by Rome.] for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour. 12And it shall come to pass in that day, [ The day of Armageddon ] that the Lord shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel. [ All Israel his elect Mt.24:31 shall be gathered this is the Same as in ]
Isaiah 11:11 (KJV) And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. Isa.27:13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, [This is the same trumpet as in Matthew 24:31 (KJV) And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.[ This trumpet will be blown by YahWeh ] Zech. 9:14 (KJV) And the Lord shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord God shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south. and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
