- Our Inspiration

The great theatre director Peter Brook said " I can take any empty space and call it a bare stage. A man walks across this empty space whilst someone else is watching him, and this is all that is needed for an act of theatre to be engaged." We are inspired by this concept towards a minimalist approach to theatre.

- Empty Space Theatre

We are based in North West London. We produce plays and small scale musicals to the highest standard we can. As our name suggests, we try to strip theatre making back to it's essentials. For us, It is always the play and the quality of the acting that matter. Previous productions include The Importance of Being Earnest and David Hare's Racing Demon.

- A New Company With A New Philosophy

Empty Space offers performance opportunities to actors and singers who are committed to their work, whether full time professionals or not. We welcome members who take acting seriously, but themselves less so!
