Welcome to your journey towards motherhood. The birth of a baby is a special time in a family’s life, one that should be honored, cherished and fully embraced.

You may alternate between joy and fear, wonder and anxiety.  It can be difficult to wade through all the information and unsolicited advice about what's best for you and for your baby.  It is my goal at Empowered Birth Doula Services to offer mothers and fathers the information and tools they need to make the decisions that are best for their families.

Childbirth is one of the most significant transitions made as a woman and a gentle birth increases confidence, success and joy in parenting.  Having a doula present through your labor and birth may give you the vital support needed to have the birth of your desires...whether you will be birthing in a hospital, birth center or having a homebirth.

Birth is not only about making babies.

Birth is about making mothers ~ strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and know their inner strength.
