The dream had been realized. The Dark Elven Commander had fought through the web of politics and corruption after war to build his Empire. A collection of Duchys and small kingdoms had been drawn together by the war, to repel the Barbarian Invaders who had taken up residence on the Peninsula. Now the Savages were gone, and what remained was perhaps worse.. Politicians. It had not been an easy struggle after the Savages were gone, but now, all of the rivalries and accords had been dealt with, Kings had knelt before him, Dukes had sworn to the Empire.. He was left the King of Kings, The Emperor of Zaire.. The Zarain Empire, Rondos Fendar, Emperor. There were still problems with the supplies of the small Kingdoms, the Enemy having sapped the land of its vegetation. Still there were the casualty lists, the memorials to get straightened. But things were moving now. Things were working well now, with the assistance of his Generals and his men, he would stabilize the Peninsula and life would move on, for now at least.
