iridia

Iridia has begun to develop a conlang:

There are six vowels in the alphabet: a, e, i, o u and y.
A is pronounced like in father or heart or like the French/ German/Japanese a.
E is pronounced like e in end, like German ae Japanese e, French ê or è.
I is pronounced like English bee or he or we, like Japanese, French and German i.
O is pronounced with rounded lips like Japanese, French or German o.
U is pronounced like the u in you in English, like German u or French ou.
Y is pronounced like Germany or ue or French u. It is made by making the lips have the shape of an ee ( as in bee) and pronouncing a u (as in you).

The following diphthongs ( two vowels pronounced as one) will be possible in the language:
ai or ay (like English eye / Japanese ai/ German ai,ay,ei,ey)
ei or ey(like English hEY/ Japanese ei/ French ei)
oi (like English bOY japanese oi)
oy (like oi but with y at end instead of i, as in German)
au (like German au pronounced further forward than English hOW)
eu (like Esperanto eux or Latin eu)

The consonants, which will be pronounced like English, are:
b,d,f,g,k,l,m,n,p,s,t and v.
C will be pronounced like a k before a, o and u.Before e, it will be pronounced like German ch after an e or i: it will be like a sh sound but softer and through the nose. Before an i, it will be pronounced like a ch, as in choose. CH will be pronounced like the CH in loch or the h^ in Esperanto or the ch after an A or O or U in German.

Stress will be on the first vowel unless there is an acute accent (é) on another vowel. (To get an acute accent, press Alt gr and the required vowel)
