Resource overview:
Food – The starting 200 food will keep you going for the first couple of minutes but later on it will post a big problem as it is drained by both constant citizens and Spahis.
Wood – Due to the fact this is Turk war wood will pose a problem right at the start of the game but will be only a secondary concern later on.
Gold – Needed exclusively for the training of Spahis, the initial 100 gold units would be enough for two Spahis.
Stone – This resource won’t be used at all early in the game, but only at the later stages.
Tin – Will pose a big problem early on as you start with none of it but won’t trouble you much after a minute or two into the game.
Allot of ld-school players would refer to this as the “classic” game, as most ladder matches were carried out in these settings while both players using the Turkish civilization. Like in every game, the victor would be crowned the player that has the better micro management; meaning, being able to introduce maximum casualties to the enemy units while receiving minimum or none for your own. However, this game puts a big emphasis on the micro management each unit introduces in his gameplay, so much actually as sometimes as even one dead unit can tilt the balance between the players.
Probably the most widely played game in these settings due to the power of the Turkish Spahis.

Detailed Starting Recourses:
Food: 200 – In the case of the Turk war, food is very troublesome because it is needed in large amounts both for citizens and for Spahis.
Wood: 200 – Needed only for building Barracks and Warehouses.
Stone: 100 – Needed later in the game for additional City Centers.
Gold: 100 – Spahis require big amounts for constant production but the starting amount insures there will be enough for the first few minutes of the game.
Tin: 0 – A decent amount of tin is required for Spahis and the low amount at the start can be troublesome.

Starting 10 citizens should be sent to their working places quickly:
3 sent to tin to get the amount of 40 tin needed for the first Spahi.
4 workers are assigned to wood to ensure the fast construction of an early barracks.
3 remaining workers are sent to food in order to ensure that you won’t run out of food early in the game.
After the 3 workers return with an amount of 45 tin, make sure to take 2 of them off tin to food. By that time another citizen will be built and it too should be sent to food – 6 citizens are working on food, the maximum amount.
The 4 citizens working on wood will return with their loads to make up an amount of 260 wood, enough for a barracks. 1 citizen should be sent to barracks construction duty together with the activation of the Middle Eastern power of x2 construction time and the barracks should be ready pretty quick.
By the time of about 1:00 – 1:10 minutes, your barracks should be up & ready for building a Spahi. Click on the Spahi icon and don’t forget to auto queue the construction so you would have a constant flow of Spahis from that barracks throughout the early stages of the game.
During this time a few more citizens should be built, send them to wood gathering duties until an amount of 6 citizens are gathering wood. With these working you should quickly get a sufficient amount for a warehouse or two. Make sure you build the warehouse close to as many recourses as possible and the first warehouse should be built near the food. The second warehouse should be built near the gold, but sometimes you can catch both of those recourses in the first warehouse so the construction of the other warehouse can either be delayed or it can be constructed near tin and/or wood. Any additional wood should be spent on the construction of barracks until the amount of about 4 barracks is achieved.
The following citizens that are built from the CC are sent to gold quarry until 3 citizens are gathering it. The citizen management should show the following statistics:
6 – Food, 6 – Wood, 1 – Tin, 3 – Gold.
Tin will start running low at about that time so a few more citizens should be sent to gather it until an amount of 3/4 citizens are gathering it. Now you should have enough recourses to uphold your little colony and manage your battlefront.
Now it’s time to expand your little colony so it will be… not so little. ;)
Send additional citizens on stone so you can make a quick work of an additional city center; and together with the civilization power that should be reloaded by that time, you will have control of 2 territories in no time.
If your starting source of food should be running low, make sure to start collecting it from the nearby food tree provided for each player which has an infinite amount of food.
From now on, your empire can take many forms and that is your choice to make where it will continue to; but the true Turk war player does not ion by better economy or better construction plan, it is true battle control that will win the war for you. Try to attack as much as possible and kill citizens of the enemy while avoiding losses of your own. When the battles are still small, try concentrating on one of the enemy’s Spahi so it would die quick but don’t let the enemy do the same to you.
Last tip: Try not losing any Spahis, if your Spahi is near death; send it back to your base to heal.
This game is played with the Aztec, Babylonian, Chinese and Inca Civilizations.

The starting recourses are as following (Low):
Food: 200 - In this case food is only needed for citizens (50 for each), so there is no immediate need for more food.
Wood: 200 - Wood is the mostly needed recourse, used both for Warehouses, Barracks and Military units. 250 is needed for a barracks.
Stone: 100 - Used later in the game for additional City Centers and workshops.
Gold: 100 - Widely needed for Military units but not needed right away.
Tin: 0 - Used only for Military and on very small amounts. But due to low amount at start needed quickly.

The starting 10 citizens are distributed among the recourses- 9 sent to wood, 1 sent to tin.
In addition the construction and cycling of citizens is started at the CC.
When 4 citizens return with wood supplies, enough wood would be present for the construction of a barracks (200+4x15=260) - 1 cit (and civilization power with Babylonian army) would be enough for an efficient construction of the barracks.
When the worker is done building the barracks, return it to wood gathering duties.
Following 3 citizens are sent to Food to ensure a steady supply of citizens from the CC throughout the early stages of the game.
Current Situation:
9 citizens on wood, 1 citizen on tin, 3 citizens on food, a built Barracks.
By the time the barracks is built, usually another 100-150 wood will be gathered by the remaining 8 workers-
Enough for the construction of a warehouse to increase recourse gather efficiancy, and to start the production of the desired special light infantry unit from the Barracks - Do not forget to cycle the production.
Gold will start running low after a while due to the fact that 100 gold is enough for only 2 units- All of the additional citizens built are sent to gold until an amount of 5-6 workers is gathering the precious recourse.
While the citizens are adding up on the gold another 100 wood is gathered- here the decision is yours whether to save it for the 2nd barracks, or to build another warehouse. After this, all the following wood should be stored for additional Barracks construction until the amount of 4-5 barracks is achieved, each time the construction of a Barracks is complete, it is important to cycle the production of the Archer from it.
When the gold mine is supplying a sufficient amount of gold to match your Military needs, the additional citizens built should be sent to the stone quarry near your base. 300 wood should also be saved and quickly a sufficient amount for another CC will be present and the construction on it should be started ASAP.
From here on it's a matter of tactics and taste on how the game should be continued- more citizens can be sent to stone for the construction of workshops or additional CCs, or the citizens who gathered the stone can be sent to a close-by forest to build more barracks and archers, etc.
Good luck and Have fun!
