-Learn about Emily and her latest project of helping a desperate youth orchestra in New Orleans-

Violinist, Emily has accomplished a lot at the age of 13.  She enjoys most of all playing violin, gymnastics, dancing, acting, reading, writing, learning, and getting involved in ways to help others.  Emily is 1st violinist in her school orchestra and is also in a chamber group.  She has done multiple violin solos at school concerts, a teaching program for young children, at a restaurant called Woody's, and at a concert in New Orleans.  She has also taught herself to play piano!  Emily has helped families with disabled children, donated her hair to Locks Of Love for children with cancer, and has done a huge project to help an orchestra in New Orleans for her Bat Mitzvah.  She was on the Maury Povitch show at the age of 11.  She is very motivated and eager to help and learn.

Emily appeared in many local and national newspapers and magazines for this project, (you can see them in the "Glimpse of the News" section.) One of them being the: American Profile Magazine which comes with most newspapers every week.  She was shown under the "Home Town Heroes" section.  Emily was also on the channel Nickelodeon, in Nick News talking about her New Orleans project and trip there.   It was an incredible experience!  The show aired throughout the whole month of August.
