Emily Logan is the name I dream of using as a pen name should I ever be published. I've always liked the name "Emily" and, in "The Babysitter's Club", the author wrote about a kid named "Logan" who liked one of the members of the club. Put it together, and the sweet name Emily Logan was born. Emily is an alias I use at the site National Novel Writing Month and at Writing.Com. Although at Writing.Com, I have shortened the pseudonym to ~EL~.

2007 Synopsis:
The story I have chosen to write about this year is about a little girl whose father, after losing his career, takes to drinking and hitting her mother. So she stays away from home to avoid the violence by spending time with friends and doing her paper route. At times when she can not avoid being home, she locks her door and begins to write a story. The story is about a mermaid and a magical, underwater kingdom.
