Welcome to the new Emerald Twirlers Website.

We are a baton twirling/majorette troupe from North Suffolk, near Great Yarmouth, and we welcome  both boys and girls who wish to come and and learn how to twirl a baton, and other skills, whether they want to take part in competitons or just for fun

Apart from teaching one baton skills, you can also learn two baton/three baton, juggling skills, marching, dance, gymnastics, pom poms and mace. You also get the option to learn and take grades.

Our training sessions are at Crowfoot Primary School, Ellough Road, Beccles on Wednesday evenings - 6PM - 8PM. Younger members may leave a little earlier if necessary, and at Benjamin Britten High School, Blyford Road, Lowestoft - 5:30PM - 7:30PM.

If you would like to join either training session just come along on the night or contact us if you would like more information about us or our troupe. It is not compulsory to attend both training sessions, but if you want to that is okay with us. The price is the same whether you attend just one or both sessions each week.

If you would be interested in joining, but you cannot get to our training venues, get in contact with us at emeraldtwirlers@aol.com and we will contact you to  arrange other options.

We are members of the British Baton Twirling Sports Association (BBTSA). You can find their link and a link to our region in the BBTSA, Region 15, on our links page.

If you don't live near us but you like the sound of what we do, send us an email and we will try to find your nearest troupes.

SEISHI INAGAKI

This website would NOT be complete if I did not include anywhere my all-time most favourite person ever (who just so happens to be Men's World Champion many times over) - so this section is especially dedicated to the one and only Seishi Inagaki.

Below are some links so you can see more of this wonderful person and why he is my most favourite person ever.

This is for Seishi's Supporters site (this link will roughly translate the website): http://216.239.39.104/translate_c?hl=en&u=http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~HS9m-AB/baton/index.htm&prev=/search%3Fq%3D%2522Seishi%2Inagaki%2522%26start%3D20%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26sa%3DN

This is to see a clip of Seishi in action 1st twirling one baton, then twirling three batons: http://www.wgi.org/multimedia/flashplayer.php?clip=/multimedia/2005/seishi80&cliptitle=seishi&time=80
