Chocolate Truffles Recipe

Directions:

In a heavy saucepan melt chocolate chips over low heat. When it looks smooth remove from heat and stir in vanilla and milk. Chill 2-3 hours or until it is firm. Then, shape chocolate into 1-inch balls and roll in any of the listed coatings, if you wish. Chill for another hour. Store tightly covered at room temperature.


Variations: Replace vanilla with 3 tbsp Amaretto liqueur and roll in almonds or 3 tbsp dark rum and roll in coconut.
