Ebony Malaika Collier

Welcome to Ebony Malaika Collier's new web page for 2008 and beyond.

I learned how to make web pages ten years ago, so excuse the "simplicity" of the page. I have had numerous pages that unfortunately no longer exist, hopefully this one will last.

I am a writer, mainly a poet, currently residing in Philadelphia, PA and I am 29 years old. I read at Panoramic Poetry hosted by Crucial, sponsored by October Gallery in Jan. 2007. The reading was held at Cheyney Univ. Center City location of 701 Market St. third floor. Near Ross clothing store. They have readings every second and third Friday of the month. These readings are now being recorded and can be viewed at http://www.arttvnetwork.com. Click on "Panoramic Programs" to view. My reading was on Jan. 19 and I was fortunate enough to be included in a lineup with such local luminaries as Aeren Yeats Perry and Aziza Kinteh.
