Elysium
The immortals will send you to the Elysian plain at the ends of the earth, where fair-haired Rhadamanthys is. There life is supremely easy for men. No snow is there, nor ever heavy winter storm, nor rain, and Ocean is ever sending gusts of the clear-blowing west wind to bring coolness to men.

Elysium has re-opened.
So let it be said best in the words of the Ancient Greeks, that Hippocampi swim the seas, that Pegasi fly the skies, that Monoceri still live in the great and wild forests of the world, and that Gorgons dwell on. And that along side them, the mortals live, and above them, the Gods and Goddesses still play their petty games…
And in the beginning there was Nothing, and from that Nothing call all things in an instant came the world. And along with the world came a paradise, Elysium, the Elysian Fields. Our Nothing is Chaos, and it is the beginnings of Elysium.
I’ve always believed the original is the best. Welcome to the originals return.
Before Elysium when on hiatus, we had been open since May 30 2004, we moved twice, but GeoCitie’s new add style ruined our latest layout [Pandora’s Box] and saw the first true closure of Elysium. Elysium started out as a standard equine RPG, nothing too special, but about two months into the venture, we when Greek, Ancient Greek. Our first plot on the original version inspired this, as our plot was “Trojan War Themed.” Sadly, the plot was never finished as an activity drop stalled it and caused a revamp. Layout four on the original Isle of Elysium added nymphs, pegasi, centaurs and gorgons to the game. When the name changed to Elysium, we moved. Now we have moved again, and the centaurs and nymphs are gone, replaces with Hippocampi [slight adaptation to our nymphs] and Unicorns. The game to a fairly bold step, as all these were equine-based, and I had to write it and think it up. Elysium has never changed hands, though, Clio [Clary] has always kept going, despite loads on homework. I read somewhere that being an RPG owner is a thankless job, which you put, loads of time and energy and work into an RPG only to have it go bust. I have had my share of failures, and I plan for Elysium to not be one of those. I hoped you enjoyed reading. –Clio [Clary] the owner, creator and dreamer.
