//Pegasi

Pagasi is the plural form of Pegasus. Pegasi are found in mountainous regions where they often push their young of tall mountain peaks in order to teach them to fly. Their bones are very light and hollow to help them fly with greater ease and their hearts are very large to accommodate their need for power during flight. Their wingspan is huge, extending approximately 35 feet from tip to tip in a fully grown animal. They’re wings grow from their shoulders and along their sides. Their coats consist of light downy feathers over an under coat of hair, an adaptation to help keep in heat in the high mountains. Another adaptation, aside from the lightweight, hollow bones and duel feather-hair coat is their white coloration, which helps them blend in with clouds and mountain snow.
