It's a shame that many in the Catholic and Protestant Churchs are not allowed or encourged to read the scriptures for themselves, it seems as if they merely want to believe what the Pope, and their " priests or preachers " tell them, and believe that they are " infalable " meaning the people believe that the Pope, priests, and preachers and teachers cannot be wrong.

IF you are in this huge Organization or of a huge Protestant denomination remember and read that Yahshua Messiah said that His was a " little flock "  in Luke 12:32, not a huge 5013c having intercourse with the Governments of this world, and remember the final cry of Yahweh is " Come out of her my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receice not of her plaques....Revelation 18:4.

A CHURCH IN DISARRAY?

  The new Roman Catholic Pope, as well as the church itself is seemingly in a groundswell of disarray. A $660 million dollar settlement was granted on July 16 for sexual abuse by the clergy, deacons, etc. It has been reported that the church and certain of its various orders, the Carmelites, Franciscans, Jesuits, etc., have now forked over around $2 billion since 1950.

  This comes on top of a couple of other stories, one concerning the Jewish people. It seems that the Orthodox Jews are very disturbed and upset that Benedict XVI has reinstituted a Tridentine Mass that contains a prayer for the conversion of all Jews. The prayer is especially offered on behalf of the Jews on Good Friday before Easter (Ishtar) Sunday.

  If that wasn’t enough, Benedict also brought a document forward that was written around 1600 that proclaimed the Roman Catholic Church to be the One Church of Christ, while all others were a defect. The document actually does say that the Creator is working through the other groups, but that they were still defective.

  But what can this all mean? It appears that the Catholic Church is being backed into a corner, however, when a wild beast becomes cornered, that is when it can become most dangerous.

  Also, when one begins to think about what has gone on throughout the history of the Catholic Church, one has to also wonder if her destruction is not getting very close.

THE VATICAN WEBSITE

  As I research various things, I check to see what others may have to say about the issue, if available. This means that I check the encyclopedias, dictionaries, lexicons, etc., that I not only have in my possession, but also whatever I may have access to online.

  I have been on the Vatican’s website before researching various news items and other things. Recently I noticed that they had “Secret Archives” posted. Being inquisitive, I clicked onto it and it brought me to a three room area wherein various articles of art are exhibited. As I perused the artworks, I began to notice some things that became quite obvious. In many of the pictures, there is a bare breasted woman (or more) on one side or the other who has her arm raised over her head and is pointing to something.

  In the first place, I began to question, what does a bare breasted woman have to do with anything in relation to Yahweh and Yahshua and the true faith? A woman who has bared her breast publicly certainly isn’t discreet. Wouldn’t a bare breasted woman be more representative of a loose woman than a righteous one? Of course! Therefore, a bare breasted woman would be more representative of a HARLOT!

  What do the Scriptures say about a harlot? “And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Yahshua: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration,” Rev. 17:1-6.

  Notice that it says that the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her. The artworks presented are of so many of the so-called great rulers of the earth, especially the Roman Empire and its subsidiaries, appearing before the Roman Pontiffs to swear their allegiance, give obeisance and to affirm that they will make donations to the church. The Roman Empire, of course, is the fourth kingdom of Daniel chapter 2 and the fourth beast of Daniel chapter 7.

  The Roman Catholic Church was made the state religion of the empire by Constantine the Great. This clearly made her the harlot that rode upon the Roman beast power. But Constantine abolished the Roman government in Old Rome and moved the center and power of the empire to Constantinople in the east. This action effectively split the empire between east and west and also effectively split the ecclesiastical power between the Latin Roman Catholic Church in the west and the Greek Orthodox Church in the east.

  Rome was divided once more in the 15th century when Constantinople fell to the Ottoman Turks. The center of Rome was shifted to Moscow, Russia. The ecclesiastical power was also split between the Greek Orthodox and Russian Orthodox Churches.

  Moscow, Russia became the “Third Rome” under the power of the Czars/Tsars.

ABOMINATIONS

  The current sex scandal that is being played out all over the country is just one of those abominations that this great church is a part of. (Note: much of the following information is found in Halley’s Bible Handbook.)

  Silvester I (314-335) was bishop of Rome during the reign of Constantine the Great. Constantine regarded himself as head of the church as he possessed the title of Pontifex Maximus over all paganism. He called the council of Nicaea in CE 325, commanded Sunday worship, established December 25th to be the birthday of the Messiah (since he was a worshipper of the sun god Mithras and that was his birth date), and decreed Easter to be observed rather than Passover.

  Constantine outlawed the possession of all Hebrew documents on pain of torture and death. All Hebrew documents were to be destroyed. He donated 50 copies of the Scriptures in the Greek language to the churches of Constantinople. Under his direction, the church became an important instrument on the stage of WORLD POLITICS.

  Siricius (385-398) claim universal jurisdiction over the church although the division of the empire made it difficult to get the bishops of the east to recognize his authority.

  Early in the 5th century, Augustine wrote The City of God, which envisioned a universal Christian empire. This heavily influenced the bishops at Rome to declare their supremacy over a Universal Church.

  Leo I proclaimed himself to be lord over the whole church, advocated exclusive universal Papacy proclaiming that resistance to his authority was a sure way to hell and advocated the death penalty for heresy. Thus, the way was paved to put anyone to death who disagreed with the Roman Pontiff or with the tenets of the Roman Catholic Church, hence the historic inquisitions.

  With the fall of the Roman Empire in the west in 476 CE, the way was paved for the western Popes to make advantageous alliances that gave them the opportunity to become the commanding figure in the west.

  Zacharias made Pepin, father of Charlemagne, King of the Franks. Pepin was largely responsible for conquering the Lombards in central Italy who then gave the conquered lands to the power of the Pope establishing the Papal States.

  Leo III crowned Pepin’s son Charlemagne Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire in 800 CE. This, of course, was an abomination in itself, as there was nothing holy about the Roman beast. Supposedly, the Pope, being the Vicar of Christ was the one who made it all holy by his own decree, but this was all farcical, to say the least.

  Nicolas I (858-867) promoted his universal authority through a great literary fraud named the “Pseudo Isidorian Decretals.” It attempted to go back 5 centuries in establishing the Pope’s power through letters and decrees of the first church councils. Interestingly, the very name reveals the truth about them. “Pseudo” means “false.” But the great preponderance of the population was illiterate and was easily misled.

  The 200 years between Nicholas I and Gregory VII is called by historians the MIDNIGHT OF THE DARK AGES. Bribery, corruption, immorality and bloodshed, made one of the blackest chapters in the history of the RCC.

  Sergius III (904-911) is said to have had a mistress named Marozia. She, her mother, Theodora, and her sister, filled the Papal chair with their paramours and bastard sons, which turned the Papal Palace into a den of robbers. The period of 904-963 is known as the rule of harlots.

  John XII (955-963) a grandson of Marozia, was guilty of almost every crime; violated virgins and widows, high and low; lived with his father’s mistress; made the Papal palace a brothel; was killed while in the act of adultery by the woman’s enraged husband.

  Boniface VII (984-985), murdered Pope John XIV, and maintained himself on the blood-stained Papal throne by a lavish distribution of stolen money. The Bishop of Orleans, referred to John XII, Leo VIII and Boniface VII as monsters of guilt, reeking in blood and filth; antichrist sitting in the temple of god.

  Benedict VIII (1012-1024) bought the office of Pope with open bribery. This was called “simony,” that is, the purchase or sale of church office with money.

  Benedict IX (1033-1045) was made Pope as a boy of 12 years old through a money bargain with the powerful families that ruled Rome. He surpassed John XII in wickedness; committed murders and adulteries in broad daylight; robbed pilgrims on the graves of martyrs; a hideous criminal, the people drove him out of Rome. Some call him the worst of all Popes.

  Gregory VI (1045-1046) bought the Papacy. Rome swarmed with hired assassins while the virtue of pilgrims was violated.

  Clement II (1046-1047) was appointed Pope by Emperor Henry III of Germany because no Roman clergyman could be found who was free of pollution of simony and fornication.

  Innocent III (1198-1216) was the most powerful of all the Popes. He claimed to be “Vicar of Christ,” “Vicar of God,” “Supreme Sovereign over Princes; and that “all things on earth and in heaven and in hell are subject to the “Vicar of Christ.” He ordered two crusades, decreed transubstantiation, confirmed auricular confession, declared that Peter’s successor “can never in any way depart from the Catholic faith,” Papal infallibility, condemned the Magna Charta, forbade the reading of the Bible in the vernacular, ordered the extermination of heretics, instituted the inquisition, ordered the massacre of the Albingenses. More blood was shed under his direction and that of his immediate successors, than in any other period of church history, except in the Papacy’s effort to crush the Reformation in the 16th and 17th centuries.

  Boniface VIII (1294-1303), in his famous bull, “Unam Sanctam,” said, “We declare, affirm, define, and pronounce that it is altogether necessary for salvation that every creature be subject to the Roman Pontiff.” However, he himself was so corrupt that Dante, who visited Rome during his pontificate, called the Vatican a “sewer of corruption,” and assigned him, along with Nicolas III and Clement V, to the lowest parts of hell.

  John XXIII (1410-1415) was called by some the most depraved criminal who ever sat on the Papal throne; guilty of almost every crime; as cardinal in Bologna, 200 maidens, nuns and married women fell victims to his amours; as Pope he violated virgins and nuns; lived in adultery with this brother’s wife; was guilty of sodomy and other nameless vices; bought the Papal Office; sold Cardinalates to children of wealthy families; and openly denied the future life.

  Nicolas V (1447-1455) AUTHORIZED THE King of Portugal to war on African peoples, take their property and enslave people.

  Pius II (1458-1464) was said to have been the father of many illegitimate children, spoke openly of the methods he used to seduce women, encouraged young men to, and even offered to instruct them in methods of self-indulgence.

  Sixtus IV (1471-1484) sanctioned the Spanish Inquisition. Decreed that money would deliver souls from Purgatory. Was implicated in a plot to murder Lorenzo de Medici, and others who opposed his policies. He used the Papacy to enrich himself and his relatives. He made eight of his nephews Cardinals, while as yet some of them were mere boys.

  Innocent VIII (1484-1492) had 16 children by various married women. He multiplied church offices and sold them for vast sums of money. He decreed the extermination of the Waldenses, and sent an army against them. He appointed the brutal Thomas of Torquemada Inquisitor General of Spain and ordered all rulers to deliver up heretics to him. He permitted bull fights on St. Peter’s Square and was the background for Savonarola’s cry against Papal corruption.

  Alexander VI (1492-1503) called the most corrupt of the Renaissance Popes; licentious, avaricious, depraved; bought the Papacy; made many new cardinals for money; had a number of illegitimate children whom he acknowledged and appointed to high church office while they were yet children, who, with their father, murdered cardinals and others who stood in their way. He had for a mistress a sister of a Cardinal, who became the next Pope, Pius III (1503).

  Julius II (1503-1513) as richest of the Cardinals, with vast income from numerous bishoprics and church estates, bought the Papacy. As a Cardinal, he had made a sport of Celibacy. Involved in endless quarrels over the possession of cities and principalities, he maintained and personally led vast armies, thus, he was called the Warrior Pope. He issued indulgencies for money. Luther visited Rome in his day and was appalled at what he saw.

  Leo X (1513-1521) was Pope when Martin Luther started the Protestant Reformation. He was made an Archbishop at 8; a Cardinal at 13; was taught to regard ecclesiastical office purely as a source of revenue; bargained for the Papal chair; sold church honors. All ecclesiastical offices were for sale and many new ones were created. He appointed Cardinals as young as 7. He was in endless negotiations with kings and princes, jockeying for secular power, utterly indifferent to the religious welfare of the church. He maintained the most luxurious and licentious court in Europe. His Cardinals vied with kings and princes in gorgeous palaces and voluptuous entertainment, attended by trains of servants. Yet this voluptuary re-affirmed the Unam Sanctam, in which it is declared that every human being must be subject to the Roman Pontiff for salvation. He issued indulgences for stipulated fees; and declared burning of heretics a DIVINE APPOINTMENT.

  Paul III (1534-1549) had many illegitimate children. He was a determined enemy of the Protestants and offered Charles V an army to exterminate them.

  Gregory XIII (1572-1585) celebrated in solemn mass, with thanksgiving and joy, the news of St. Bartholomew’s Massacre wherein 70,000 Huguenots, including most of their leaders, were massacred.

  Urban (1623-1644) with the aid of the Jesuits, blotted out Protestants in Bohemia.

  Clement XI (1700-1721) declared that kings reign only with his sanction. He issued a Bull against Bible reading.

  Pius VII 1800-1820) issued a Bull against Bible societies.

  Leo XII (1821-1829) condemned all religious freedom, tolerance, Bible societies and Bible translations; and declared that “everyone separated from the Roman Catholic Church, however unblameable in other respects, has NO PART in eternal life.”

  Pius VIII (1829-1830) denounced liberty of conscience, Bible societies and Freemasonry.

  Gregory XVI (1831-1846) an ardent advocate of Papal infallibility, condemned Bible societies.

  Pius XI (1846-1878) lost the Papal States; decreed Papal infallibility; proclaimed the right to suppress heresy by force; condemned separation of church and state; commanded Catholics to obey the head of the church rather than civil rulers; denounced liberty of conscience, liberty of worship, freedom of speech and freedom of the press; decreed the immaculate conception and deity of Mary; condemned Bible societies; declared that Protestantism is no form of the Christian religion; and that every dogma of the Roman Catholic Church has been dictated by Christ through His viceregents on earth.

  Of his own sovereign authority, and without the cooperation of a council, Pius IX proclaimed the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, as a sort of feeler to the Roman Catholic Word, on the question. Its reception emboldened him to call the Vatican Council (1870), for the express purpose of hiving himself declared infallible, which, under his skillful manipulation, they did. The decree reads that it is “divinely revealed” that the Pope, when he speaks “ex cathedra,” is “possessed of infallibility in defining doctrines of faith and morals,” and that “such definitions are irreformable.” The Eastern Orthodox Church considered this the Papacy’s crowning blasphemy.

  Pius IX ruled Rome with the help of 10,000 French troops. On the outbreak of the war between France and Germany (1870), these troops were recalled. Victor Immanuel, King of Italy, then took possession of Rome and added the Papal States to the Kingdom of Italy. The vote of the people transferring Rome from the Pope to the Government of Italy was 133,648 to 1,507. Thus, the Pope not only lost his earthly kingdom, but he, himself, became a subject of another king, which was deeply humiliating to he who claimed to be ruler of all kings.

  (NOTE: Do you not see the hand of Yahweh in this? The same year that the Pope had himself to be declared “infallible” through the Vatican Council, is the same year (1870) that he lost the power of his own kingdom and was forced to submit to another king.)

  Leo XIII (1878-1903) claimed that he was appointed to be head of all rulers, and that he holds on the earth the place of Almighty God. He emphasized Papal infallibility; pronounced Protestants “enemies of the Christian name;” proclaimed the only method of cooperation to be complete submission to the Roman Pontiff; denounced “Americanism,” and the Masonic Order.

  Pius X (1903-1914) denounced leaders of the Reformation as “enemies of the cross of Christ.”

  Pius XI (1922-1939) in 1928 re-affirmed the Roman Catholic Church to be the only Church of Christ, and the re-union of Christendom impossible except by submission to Rome.

  There is much more wickedness and evil that will be focused on in this treatise, but the situation that is extant in the Catholic priesthood and Church is nothing new. The Popes, Cardinals and other church officials have long established the use of money in order to pay for or purchase “indulgencies.” In these last days, a 660 million buy-out or pay-off is nothing short of a continuation of these “licentious excesses.”

INQUISITION

  The Inquisition reveals the fulfillment of the Scriptures that declare this harlot woman to be “drunk with the blood of the saints.” (Rev. 17:6). It is also stated, “And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth,” Rev. 18:24.

  The Inquisition, called the “Holy Office,” was instituted by Pope Innocent III, and perfected under the second following Pope, Gregory IX. It was the church court for detection and punishment of heretics. Under it everyone was required to inform against Heretics. Anyone suspected was liable to torture, without knowing the name of his accuser. The proceedings were secret. The inquisitor pronounced sentence, and the victim was turned over to civil authorities to be imprisoned for life, or to be burned. The victim’s property was confiscated, and divided between the church and the state.

  In the period immediately following Pope Innocent III the Inquisition did its most deadly work against the Albigenses, but also claimed vast multitudes of victims in Spain, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands.

  Later on the Inquisition was the main agency in the Papacy’s effort to crush the Reformation. It is stated that in the 30 years between 1540 and 1570 no fewer than 900,000 Protestants were put to death in the Pope’s war for the extermination of the Waldenses.

  Think of monks and priests, in (so-called) holy garments, directing with heartless cruelty and inhuman brutality, the work of torturing and burning alive innocent men and women and doing it in the name of the Christ, by direct order of the “Vicar of Christ.”

  The Inquisition was the most infamous and devilish thing in human history. It was devised by Popes, and used by them for 500 years to maintain their power. For its record none of the subsequent line of “holy” and “infallible” Popes have ever apologized.

THE JESUITS

  Rome’s answer to the Lutheran secession: the Inquisition under the leadership of the Jesuits, an order founded by Ignatius Loyola, a Spaniard, on the principle of absolute and unconditional obedience to the Pope, having for its object the recovery of territory lost to Protestants and Mohammedans, and the conquest of the entire heathen world for the Roman Catholic Church. Their supreme aim, the destruction of heresy, that is, thinking anything different from what the Pope said think; for the accomplishment of which anything was justifiable, deception, immorality, vice, even murder. Their motto, “For the greater glory of God.” Their methods; schools, seeking especially the children of ruling classes, aiming in all schools to gain absolute mastery over the pupil: the confessional, especially with kings, princes and civil rulers, indulging them in all kinds of vice and crime, for the sake of gaining their favor: force, persuading rulers to execute inquisition sentences.

  In France they were responsible for St. Bartholomew’s Massacre, persecution of the Hugenots, revocation of the Toleration Edict of Nantes, and the French Revolution. In Spain, Netherlands, South Germany, Bohemia, Austria, Poland and other countries, they led in the massacre of untold multitudes. By these methods they stopped the Reformation in Southern Europe, and virtually saved the Papacy from ruin.

  (Note: Notice their use of deception, immorality, vice and murder. Isn’t it interesting that we have a modern-day Senator David Vitter of Louisiana, who is being excoriated by the press because of sexual liaisons with a prostitution ring in Washington DC.

  Let’s see if we can make some heads or tails out of this issue. Vitter is a Republican. He has made a stand for an amendment for the BAN on “SAME SEX MARRIAGE.”

  But Sen. Ted Kennedy, a Massachusetts Democrat, denounced the proposed amendment as "an instrument of bigotry and prejudice," which he said was designed by the GOP leadership "to try to bring Republican senators out of the ditch of disapproval."

And Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, a Nevada Democrat, said that "the reason the Senate Republicans are pushing this marriage amendment is because they don't want to address the real issues of this country."

  Ted Kennedy is also a Catholic! Do you think that he might be a tool of the Jesuits to overthrow and destroy “Americanism” which the Popes have denounced? Harry Reid also?

  What about the sexual escapades of the former President Bill Clinton? His despicable actions were actually suppressed by the media until it simply couldn’t be hidden anymore. But when it was made public, the media and Democrats made light of it proclaiming, “Let him get on with the people’s business!”

  Look at the statements made by these two men. Kennedy says that an amendment banning same sex marriages is bigoted and prejudiced. According to the Scriptures that I have on hand, Yahweh, Himself, placed a BAN ON SAME SEX MARRIAGE. As a matter of fact, Sodom and Gomorrah both were destroyed because of homosexual activity. Thus, a person who supposedly is a Christian, yet supports same sex marriage, either doesn’t know the Scriptures, or has an agenda for destruction, because most assuredly if homosexuality continues to abound, then the morality of our people, which is already extremely low, will sink to the morass and decay of total destruction from on high.

  Furthermore, Harry Reid, another Democrat, belittles the Republican’s stand on the ban saying that they don’t want to address the real issues of the country. Oh really!? A ban on same sex marriage isn’t a real issue of the country? If homosexuality is one of the special issues that will bring the destruction of the country, then isn’t that truly a real issue?

  There is a battle that is going on behind the scenes. This author finds it very interesting that an alcoholic and womanizer like Democrat Ted Kennedy gets off unscathed, while certain Republicans are demonized in the media all across the country for their mistakes, which are not nearly as great in nature. [I’m not trying to make excuses for wrong doing here, just wondering why wrong doing is okay for some, but not for others.]

  What about Democrat Barney Frank? He is a practicing homosexual and had a prostitution ring of young boys working out of his own house at one time. When discovered, it was still kept hush-hush in the media and then blamed on his live-in lover.

  What about the Democrat from Louisiana who was discovered with 10’s of thousands of dollars (payola) in his possession? Jefferson is his last name, I think. Another soft pedal and pass by the media.

  The Jesuits and others [Note that I say “and others.”] know the weakness of man. Yes, there is a lust for illicit sex and also a love of money, wealth and riches. The love of money is a root of all evil. Such are politics, because big business certainly does its share of buying out and making big pay offs for special favor from our senators and congressmen. All of these weaknesses of the flesh should point us to the fact that we need Yahweh’s governmental body ruling this earth rather than weak-kneed men.)

  If you will notice in each of the artworks, there is either one or two women with bared breasts pointing to something over their heads. What they are pointing to is either the crowned eagle or the winged dragon as is depicted in the coat of arms of Paul V.

  The eagle may have been a representation that was utilized by Yahweh when He delivered Israel out of Egypt, but it also represented Zeus of the Greeks and Jupiter of the Romans. And that is the indication here because the western half of the Roman Empire was Latin whose chief deity was Jupiter, while the eastern half was more of a Greek nature whose chief deity was Zeus. The dragon is the underlying spirit.

REVELATION 12

  The book of Revelation chapter twelve reveals a woman who is clothed with the sun having the moon at her feet. She has a crown with twelve stars. This is typology of Israel with her twelve tribes. She is with child and travailing in pain to give birth.

  The Israelites were the children of the Almighty Great Elohim Yahweh. They were to be the crowning kingdom on the earth, but they needed the true Messiah Yahshua to become their King, Priest and Ruler. She is travailing in pain to bring forth the birth of this Messiah.

  A great red (fiery) dragon is also awaiting this birth because he wants to destroy this coming Great Ruler.

  We know the story of the birth of Yahshua and the attempt to destroy Him by Herod, a Roman vassal, when He was born. Of course, it was the Roman military machine that eventually slew Him at the behest of His own people.

  The dragon, of course, is that old serpent called the Devil and Satan who deceives the whole world (Rev. 12:9). His kingdom is Rome. Rome is the fourth kingdom of Daniel chapter two and the fourth beast of Daniel chapter seven. The Roman beast is the fulness of the manifestation of the spirit of the dragon.

  The dragon has seven heads and ten horns, with seven crowns on the seven heads. A crown is for rulership, a king or a kingdom. We can begin to understand what is taking place here if we utilize the book of Daniel as a basis, a foundation.

A PROPHETIC DREAM

  King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream that was greatly disturbing. The problem is that he couldn’t remember the dream and didn’t know what it meant. So he called for his magicians, astrologers, sorcerers, and Chaldeans to show him what he had dreamed and its interpretation. They were greatly perplexed. They told him to tell them what he had dreamed and they would then interpret it to them, but he told them that he couldn’t remember what it was. When they told him that no one could do such a thing, he threatened to destroy them, their families and make their houses into latrines (restrooms). (Dan. 2:1-12)

  One of the Jewish captives, Daniel, saved the day for them all. Yahweh revealed the meaning of the dream to Daniel who, in turn, revealed it to King Nebuchadnezzar. When he explained it to the king, he fell on his face and worshipped Daniel commanding that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours (incense) to him (Dan. 2:46). Nebuchadnezzar declared, “Of a truth it is, that your Elohim is a Elohim of elohim, and a Sovereign of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret,” Dan. 2:46.

  Nebuchadnezzar had seen a great image in his dream that had a head of gold, breasts and arms of silver, belly and thighs of brass/bronze, legs of iron and feet part of iron and part of clay. (Dan. 2:31-33)

  This statue continued to stand until a stone was formed without hands that smote the image on its feet and the whole image was destroyed becoming like the chaff of wheat. (Dan. 2:34-35)

  Nebuchadnezzar was shown a prophetic dream of the world ruling kingdoms until the stone (Yahshua) from heaven would come to establish the kingdom of heaven on the earth. Whether you realize it or not, the fourth kingdom is still ruling in this world.

  Nebuchadnezzar was shown that he and his kingdom of Babylon were the head of this image, he being a king of kings and that three other inferior kingdoms would follow his. Scripturally and historically, the next three world ruling kingdoms were Persia, Greece/Macedonia and Rome.

DANIEL SEVEN

  In the first year of Belshazzar, king of Babylon, Daniel was shown another vision. He saw the four winds of heaven strive on the great sea and four beast kingdoms, diverse from one another arose from the sea. (Dan. 7:1-2)

  The sea is termed “the great sea,” which identifies the location, the center of their great power. Formerly, the Mediterranean Sea was called “The Great Sea.” Mediterranean simply means “middle of the earth.” Historically, the Mediterranean has been the center of control over the earth, even though there have been great kingdoms elsewhere in the world. This is because, Jerusalem, the city of the Great King Yahweh is located on the eastern rim of the Mediterranean Sea in an area called the Levant.

  While Daniel 2 gave a metallic nature  for the four kingdoms, Daniel 7 gives a beastly nature. It is the same four kingdoms because they continue in power, diverse from one another, until the kingdom of heaven is established (Dan. 7:9-14).

  The fourth kingdom is the terrible beast kingdom that originally has ten horns, the same number of horns that the dragon of Revelation 12 possesses and the same number of horns that the beast of Revelation 13 possesses.

  The fourth kingdom of Daniel two is primarily iron. The beast kingdom of Daniel seven has great iron teeth. The iron ties the fourth beast in with the fourth kingdom of Daniel two. There is hidden meaning in the image and the metals of Daniel two as well as the beastly natures in Daniel seven, but we will save that information for a later time.

ROME

  The fourth kingdom of both chapters (Dan. 2 & 7) is the kingdom of Rome. According to the Encyclopedia Judaica, Rome is also known as Esau, Edom, Amalek, Seir and Tyre. Esau was Jacob’s twin brother.

  When they were in Rebekah’s womb, they struggled with each other so much that she had to go to Yahweh asking Him what was going on, “And Yahweh said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger,” Gen. 25:23.

  The time came when Isaac desired to place his blessing upon his firstborn son, Esau, “And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his eldest son, and said unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Behold, here am I. And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death: Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die,” Gen. 27:1-4.

  Of course, Rebekah and Jacob hatched a plot that caused Isaac to bless Jacob with the blessing of the firstborn, rather than Esau (vv. 5-29).

  When Esau came in, he discovered that Jacob had already been there and received the coveted blessing (vv. 30-33). “And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and said unto his father, Bless me, even me also, O my father. And he said, Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath taken away thy blessing. And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me? And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son?” vv. 34-37.

  Esau pleaded for a blessing so Isaac declared, “And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above; And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck,” vv. 39-40.

  Notice that! “When thou shalt have the dominion, thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck!”

  Israel had dominion over Esau while they were a kingdom, but when the Assyrians destroyed the northern kingdom of Israel, carrying the survivors away captive, and the southern kingdom of Judah was carried away captive by the Babylonians, their dominion ceased to exist. Yes, a small remnant returned to establish a province, but that province was under the authority of the Persians, Greeks and Romans. By the time Yahshua appeared on the scene, the area was ruled by Herod (an Edomite/Ismaelite combination) who was subject to the power and authority of the Caesars in Rome. Rome is Esau, Edom, Amalek, Seir and Tyre. The dominion was Esau’s. Jacob’s yoke was broken from his neck.

SEIR

  Esau’s inheritance was Seir. When Israel was delivered from Egypt, they compassed the land of Esau in Seir many days (Dt. 2:1). Yahweh told Israel, “Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward. And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore: Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession,” Dt. 2:2-5.

  Who was Seir? Seir and his family were the aboriginal peoples of the land of Seir. He was a Horite, which means he lived in caves. This probably means that they were the original people who inhabited the area of Petra.

  Seir had seven sons, Lotan, Shobal,  Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan. (Gen. 36:20-21) Here is the clincher; a look at the name “Seir” is quite revealing. The proper name “Seir” is number 8165 in the Hebrew Lexicon of Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance and is defined as “rough.” But it comes from the common Hebrew word, number 8163, sa’iyr, which is defined as; shaggy; as noun, a he-goat; by analogy, a faun, and is generally translated as; devil, goat, hairy, kid, rough, satyr.

  Now this is very interesting because when Esau was born it is said of him, “And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau,” Gen. 25:25.

  “Hairy,” in the above Scripture, is translated from the Hebrew word say-awr', which is number 8181 and is defined as; in the sense of dishevelling; hair (as if tossed or bristling).

  Interestingly, both words, number 8163 (sa’iyr) and 8181 (say’awr’) come from number 8175 (sa’ar). Sa’ar (#8175), is defined as; a primitive root; to storm; by implication, to shiver, i.e. fear. It is generally translated as; be (horribly) afraid, fear, hurl as a storm, be tempestuous, come like (take away as with) a whirlwind.

  Furthermore, Lotan is identified in the Ugaritic texts as a seven headed serpent (Leviathan). The name Lotan can be divided into two Hebrew words lot and tan. Lot is defined as a “veil.” Tan is defined as; to elongate; a monster (as preternaturally formed), i.e. a sea-serpent (or other huge marine animal); also a jackal (or other hideous land animal). It is variously translated as; dragon, whale.

  The English term “the devil” would be translated into the Hebrew as ha-seir (#8163)! Satan the devil is always represented by the Satan worshippers with the head of a goat. “The goat” in Hebrew would be ha-seir (#8163)!

  Lotan was known as the seven headed leviathan. Seir (the devil, faun, satyr) had seven sons, seven heads. Lotan was the eldest. Lotan’s sister was Timna (restraint). She became Eliphaz’s, Esau’s oldest son’s, concubine. She bare to him Amalek!

AMALEK

  It was the Amalekites, descentants of Esau, who attacked Israel in the wilderness (Ex. 17). Yahweh swore that He would have war with Amalek from generation to generation (Ex. 17:16). Yahweh swore that He would blot Amalek’s name from under heaven (Ex. 17:14).

  Balaam prophesied concerning Amalek, “And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever,” Num. 24:20.

  The Hebrew for “first” is reyshiyth. It is generally translated as beginning, first, chief, etc. Yahshua is the beginning (reyshiyth), the firstborn from the dead (Col. 1:18). Thus, Amalek would be the counterfeit of Yahshua among the nations or goyim.

  Rome is Esau, Edom, Amalek, Seir, and Tyre! Amalek feared not Elohim, “Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt; how he met thee by the way, and smote the hindmost of thee, even all that were feeble behind thee, when thou wast faint and weary; and he feared not Elohim,” Dt. 25:17-18.

  In these last days, the savior and religion of Amalek (Rome) has prevailed as the Universal savior, the Universal Church, the Universal Religion. The universal church of the west is the Roman Catholic Church. The universal church of the eastern half is the Orthodox Greek Catholic Church. The universal church of Russia was the Russian Orthodox Church.

ESAU

  The book of Hebrews makes this statement about Esau, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Sovereign: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of Yahweh; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears,” vv. 14-17.

  Esau is called a “fornicator” and a “profane person!” Why? Because he sold his birthright for a morsel of bread.

  Consider the birthright of Esau, the firstborn of Isaac. First, the covenant that Yahweh made with Abraham would belong to him. Abraham was to be the “high father of many nations (goyim/Gentiles) and those who were his inheritors would be considered to be nobility as would Abraham. Secondly, which is not second in nature, but would  be primary in reality, Yahweh would be his Elohim and he and his descendants would be Yahweh’s people. Thirdly, the Savior and salvation would come out of his loins. Fourth, the firstfruits and firstborn of the kingdom of heaven would belong to him and his descendants.

  There is much more, but the point is that Esau is revealed to be a person who simply lived for the day and this life, not believing, not having faith in the promises of Yahweh in the life to come.

  Surely, when he was to the point of starving and fainting, had he treasured the birthright to be more important than life itself, he would have been greatly angered at Jacob for even having thought that he would have given up such a marvelous treasure and blessing. But Esau reasoned, “Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob,” Gen. 25:32-33.

  Esau agreed to sell his greatest treasure, his birthright, for a bowl of red bean stew! The last Scripture of Gen. 25, verse 34, declares that “Esau despised his birthright!” Such a great treasure, such a great pearl of great price was held to be contemptible and even vile! Thus, Esau and his own descendants became contemptible and vile to Yahweh!

ESAU’S CHARACTERISTICS

  Esau’s oldest son was named Eliphaz, which means “my El (God) is gold.” Thus, gold and riches in the present world were more important to Esau and his descendants than anything else. As a matter of fact, he and his descendants would worship gold (idolatrous images and statues) and the things that they could/can buy. Albert Pike, a 33° Freemason wrote, “Gold, to the eyes of the Initiates, is Light condensed.” (Morals And Dogma, p. 102)

  He also wrote, “The most potent of the names of Deity is ADONAI. Its power is to put the Universe in movement; and the Knights who shall be fortunate enough to possess it, with weight and measure, shall have at their disposition all the potencies that inhabit it, the Elements, and the cognizance of all the virtues and sciences that man is capable of knowing. By its power they would succeed in discovering the primary metal of the Sun, which holds within itself the Principle of the germ, and wherewith we can put in alliance and six other metals, each of which contains the principles and primitive seed of the grand philosophical work.

  “The six other metals are Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Venus, Mercury, and Luna; vulgarly known as Lead, Tin, Iron, Copper, Quicksilver, and Silver. Gold is not included; because it is not in its nature a metal. It is all Spirit and incorruptible; wherefore it is the emblem of the Sun, which presides over the Light.” (IBID, pp. 787-788)

  Notice that the names of these deities correspond with the days of the week. Saturn (lead) = Saturday, Venus (tin) = Friday, Mars (copper) = Thursday, Mercury (quicksilver) = Wednesday, Jupiter (iron) = Tuesday, Luna (silver) = Monday, and the sun (gold, light condensed) =  Sunday. Thus, the secret mystic reason that Sunday is the day of worship for Rome, Esau, and Freemasonry.

  Again, he wrote, “The Hermetic Gold is not only a true dogma, a light without Shadow, a Truth without alloy of falsehood; it is also a material gold, real, pure, the most precious that can be found in the mines of the earth.

 “But the living gold, the living sulphur, or the true fire of the philosophers, is to be sought for in the house of Mercury.” (IBID, p. 778)

  In the spirit of the name Eliphaz (my El [God] is gold), Esau declares that gold is his light, his truth, his purity, his deity. It is utilized in the worship of the sun, that is, ancient pagan sun worship. All ancient idolatrous images that were made of gold represented the sun and the worship thereof. But in today’s world, those who worship on Sunday, the day of the sun, have been deceived to follow Esau and the mysteries of his religion which are revealed in the secrets of Freemasonry.

  In Hebrews 12:16, Esau is called a “fornicator.” This word is translated from the Greek word pornos, which is defined as; a (male) prostitute (as venal), i.e. (by analogy) a debauchee (libertine). It is translated as; fornicator, whoremonger.

  But notice this, a male prostitute, as venal. This means that he is for sale at a price. Anything goes as long as the price is right. Apply this to his religion and one will understand the term “simony.” Simony has to do with the sale of religious office. The history that we have read concerning the Roman Catholic Church reveals the process of “simony.” The office of the Pope, cardinals, bishops, etc., were sold, many times to little children of wealthy families. What a way to totally corrupt a system!

  However, above that the meaning of pornos has to do with male prostitution, a debauchee, libertine and whoremonger. What is taking place in today’s world is nothing more than a long history of the most grievous sexual improprieties committed by those from the highest to the lowest offices of the church.

  But on top of that, the RCC and her daughters (this includes all churches and religious movements that are similar in her faith, such as Sunday worship, annual pagan holiday observance, use of incorrect titles and names, iniquitous, lawless or no law churches) are serving other elohim (gods) than Yahweh and Yahshua.  That is why she is revealed as a “harlot” in the book of Revelation. It has to do with spiritual fornication. Both Israel and Judah were guilty of the same failings and they were destroyed, removed from their inheritance.

PROFANE PERSON

  Hebrews 12:16 also says that Esau is a “profane” person. “Profane” is translated from the Greek bebelos, which is defined as, from the base of 939 and belos (a threshold); accessible (as by crossing the door-way), i.e. (by implication, of Jewish notions) heathenish, wicked (Greek Lexicon of Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, number 952).

  This definition must be brought to light for all to see. The Roman deity for thresholds was the two faced god Janus. Janus was chosen by the Caesars to be the threshold of the new year on their paganistic, heathenistic calendar by naming their first month January. Two faces has to do with being deceitful.

  This change of the calendar and the law of Yahweh is prophesied in Daniel 7, “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time,” v. 25.

  Who is given into his hand? Isn’t it not only the saints, Yahweh’s people, but also the times and laws? Since Constantine, called the great, but in reality the least, entered into the New Covenant Assembly, the people of the Most High have been given into his hand as well as have the times (calendar) and laws. Caesar’s calendar and laws or commands are what the people of the overall world obey, from the Mediterranean Sea to the rest of the world that follows his religion, the Roman Catholic Church, Greek Orthodox Church and Russian Orthodox Church as well as their Protestant daughters.

  Bebelos comes from another Greek word the word basis. Basis is number 939 in the Greek Lexicon of Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance and is defined as; from baino (to walk); a pace ("base"), i.e. (by implication) the foot.

  Now isn’t that interesting? The fourth kingdom of Daniel 2 is the kingdom of the legs of iron and feet, which are part of iron and part of clay. Furthermore, Italy, the country of Rome and the Roman Empire is in the shape of a foot or boot. Furthermore, we walk with our feet, thus, those who follow the Caesar’s commands are walking in his ways, not the ways of the true Messiah Yahshua.

  Yahshua walked in the commandments of Yahweh as recorded by Moses, the Prophets and Psalms.

  What is the basis of your walk? Is it the commands of Caesar or the commands of Yahweh? Do you follow the Roman Catholic Church, Greek Orthodox Church, Russian Orthodox Church, Protestantism or even Judaism?

I have to speculate IF this man has even read these verses quoted from Matt.5:44-45 and Luke 6:27, for perfect love casts out fear, even as it is written 1John 4:18, and he that fears as this man seems to proves from his own words that he does fear brother Jerry; thus this man is not made perfect in love.So it seems that this man is afraid, and shames himself.

SUBJECT: SHAMELESS HERESY

The following is an e-mail that was sent to me ( Jerry Healan ) completely out of the blue. I did give an answer to this e-mail as you will see, but I couldn’t get over the feeling that this may be a warning shot over the bow, so to speak. We know that sometime in the future we will begin to be persecuted for our beliefs. This unsolicited e-mail may be a slight foretaste of that.

I'm always amazed at the new and crafty ways that you and your ilk employ to deceive and lead astray Christ’s elect.

You give new meaning to the term creationist as you are constantly creating new interpretations of Holy Scripture.

You are arguing with St. Paul and St. John when you try to criminalize or Romanize the "Lord's Day " which is the first day of the week, in the roman world Sunday. Paul and the disciples would come together on the first day of the week to break bread and remember their Lord, as he asked them to do (Lk 22:19) we call this the holy sacrifice of the Mass or Eucarista (ICor.11:24-29). They came together on the first day because this is the day our Lord resurrected. You spoke of unlearned men. The early church knew and accepted this unanimously long before the Emperor  Constantine made it legal to be a Christian so the Romans had nothing to do with the change. Unlearned? How about ignorant, do a little historical research. (Jn 20:19)(Act. 20:7)(Apoc. 1:10)(Didache14)The second bishop ( Pope) of Rome disciple and successor to St. Peter 65 A.D. speaks of it. St. Polycarp disciple of St. John knew, it and Justin Martyr 165 A.D. knew it and they, along with all the other bishops of the universal church practiced it. So if the Apostles are wrong and the early church fathers are wrong why don't you cease trying to hijack the Christian religion and rewrite history. And since you like to dwell on the old testament so much become a Jew and call yourself rabbi because you, like they refuse to acknowledge the "Lord's Day". The lord said "I am the Lord of the Sabbath" how dare you imply that he or his successors whom he gave the keys (Matt 16:15-19) (Matt 1818-20)(Jn.20:22-23) do not have the right to honor his resurrection on the first day of the week, Sunday.

Its really not your fault that your church is only a couple hundred years old and the Christian church is1972 years old . But it is your fault that you choose to ignore and discredit the fist millennium of Martyrs, and Saints, Doctors , and Fathers who's blood , honor, truth, and faithfulness to sound doctrine made it possible for heretics like yourself to spew your uneducated and helplessly ignorant lies.

I am so sorry that you feel the way that you do. I have made the Scriptures a life's study. We can all go to the superflous writings in order to try to prove this, that or the other, but the basis of all understanding should be the Scriptures, Yahweh's word alone. You begin by utilizing Lk. 22:19 to establish the breaking of bread on the first day of the week, but Lk. 22:19, Mt. 26:26 & Mk. 14:22 are all speaking of the event called the "Last Supper" which was an opportunity that Yahshua took to set an example for the disciples as to the manner in which they should observe the Passover anew seeing that He is our Passover Lamb (1 Cor. 5:7) and He wouldn't be there for that Passover nor would He imbibe the Passover with them again until the kingdom appears Mt. 26:29, Mk. 14:25, Lk. 22:18. The Passover memorial was just that, Matthew. It was a memorial which typified Yahshua the Messiah (the true Passover and Deliverer) and was observed only once per year as a reminder of the power of Yahweh's deliverance of His people from the house of bondage to Egypt.

1 Cor. 11:24-29 is a reaffirmation by the Apostle Paul concerning that "memorial" service which is to be observed once per year and not every Sunday (which, by the way, is not the Lord's day. It is only the first day of the week, set to be so in the beginning [Gen. 1 & 2]). You quote the phrase, "I am the Lord of the Sabbath." That is exactly what He is. The Sabbath day is the seventh day of the week and is set aside as "holy" for the purpose of congregating to worship Yahweh and to find peace and rest. The seventh day Sabbath is a type of the true rest, the seventh millennium, in which Yahshua and His people will be ruling and reigning on earth seeing as none of the Gentile kingdoms which replaced the kingdom of Israel (including the fourth and great world ruling beast kingdom [Rome, see Dan. 2, 7 & 8]) had the power to bring about. They, like Israel, have failed to bring true peace, rest and Yahweh's truth to this world. They have only greatly corrupted the word of truth and hold the sheep of Yahweh (which might include yourself) in  utter ignorance of the truth and light and life of the Kingdom of Heaven.

You speak of the great martyr Polycarp as if he were of the same ilk of Rome, but surely, since you know so much about history, you have heard of the disagreement between Polycarp and the bishop of Rome concerning the disagreement of Passover vs. Easter observance. This is called the "Quartodeciman controversy" (14th controversy). Polycarp was taught by the Apostle John, Deacon Phillip and other apostles. The greatest of disasters occurred to the true New Testament body when the Caesars, who held the office of "PONTIFEX MAXIMUS" (meaning the great bridge builder or mediator) over all paganism entered into the body of believers, took over via Constantine and his successors (the little horn of Daniel 8, by the way), dictated Sunday worship and pagan holidays (get it? Holidays, an attempt to sanctify paganistic practices as "holydays.") cast the truth to the ground and practiced and prospered as the true religion. From that time, the great rulers and kings of the earth FORCED their subjects to follow the dictates of their faith on pain of torture and death if they actually went the way of truth. That's why the Pilgrims and others fled Europe to the new world, Matthew, in order to flee from the persecution that the kings and POPES of Europe brought upon those who tried to follow the Scriptures according to whatever truths that they might have held (even though they were still deceived concerning the true day of worship, the holydays, the true names, etc.).

Search the Scriptures, Matthew. Where, in Scripture, is the event called "the last supper", the Sabbath or any other day of the week, termed "Mass" or the "Eucharist?"

You say, "It's really not your fault that your church is only a couple hundred years old and the Christian church is1972 years old." Frankly Matthew, our belief goes back about 6,000 years to the book of Genesis and then about another 3,500 years to the deliverance of Israel from Egypt and the giving of the Ten Commandments which include the Sabbath day. Remember that Yahshua told the young man in Matthew 19:17 to keep the commandments if he wanted to receive eternal life (Mt. 19:17). He even quoted a portion of those commandments (five) of which the whole (ten) does include the seventh day Sabbath command. You say that your faith is only 1,972 years old. Yours is a little younger than ours, don't you think? By the way, the only reason that it seems as if our faith is at least 200 years old is the fact that the INQUISITION, decreed by the POPES, helped to eradicate all of the true believers. The Popes sent the sword out after what they called "heretics." But if you will look at the writings of Paul, he was called a "heretic" and was happy to be so-called. Yes Matthew, the only way to get one's followers incensed against others is to have them declared as "heretics" and then the followers will happily take up the sword and sentence those unfaithful to the grave. But I ask you, didn't Yahshua say that His little flock (not a huge massive church) would be hated, persecuted and put to death? Neither He nor the Apostles encouraged the sheep to take up swords and put others who didn't believe the same as themselves to death. Rather, he stated that he was sending them as sheep out among wolves. Sheep never kill wolves, Matthew, it's the other way around.

I do have a sword which I will utilize against you Matthew. But it is the double edged sword of the Scriptures, not a literal sword. But you and others of your ilk, being a soldier and knight of the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, will eventually utilize and employ torture and the literal sword against those like me. When you begin your persecution anew, look out! We will be brought before the world leaders and made a spectacle and example of. But our numbers will increase and your efforts will soon bring the true Savior and Redeemer from heaven to fight against your armies and usher in the peace of the Kingdom of Heaven and not Pax Romana! HALLELUYAH!!! MAY THAT DAY SOON COME!!!!

                                THE TRUTH ABOUT  " GAD " .

Based on excerpts taken directly from The Truth About Inspired Titles in the Light of the Sacred Names written by: Elder Dale George of "Yah’s Assembly in Messiah" and Elder Silvio Soto of "Restoration Ministry in Messiah" (with expanded information and formatted to a forum audience and article submission to Messianic Ministries, Executive Director, Angus and Batya Wootten, founders of the Messianic Israel Alliance and book entitled 'WHO IS ISRAEL?)

Verses quoted throughout this brief article are from the standard King James Version, unless otherwise indicated. The Name Yahweh has been restored in every place where the KJV used "the LORD."

It is common knowledge among Sacred-Name organizations that the word God is considered an unclean inappropriate word to refer to Yahweh. Most argue that to apply the word God to Yahweh is tantamount to idolatry. For example:

"... in Isayah 65:11, KJV, we find the word ‘TROOP’ mentioned. The ‘Center Reference’ of the King James Version will show you ‘what’ the word ‘troop’ means... The word ‘troop’ means ‘gad,’ which is a euphemism for ‘GOD,’ as Webster’s Deluxe Unabridged Dictionary, Second Edition, pp. 746, indicates:

Gad, n. 1. In the Bible, a son of Jacob. 2. A tribe of Israel descended from him. 3. The land where this tribe lived. Gad, gad, interj. A mild oath or expression of surprise, disgust, etc.: a euphemism for God."

[1]"... From this alone we see that the word GOD was never a Name for the Creator – it was a TITLE FOR PAGAN GODS!"

[2]"... To worship this idol, or any idol, is destructive to one’s own life, and those whose names aren’t written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will receive wrath from Yahweh because they worship the idol ‘God.’ Baal God worship in Jeremiah’s time was one of the sins of the children of Israel. They, like many today, worshiped the Queen of Heaven and her son... In conclusion, the pagan idol known as ‘God’ from the beginning, was never glorified by Yahweh, nor has Yahweh ever said He would give His glory to it. Neither has He said that the word ‘god’ would be His own name or title. But He has said just the opposite. ‘You who forget My holy Name and spread a table for Gawd (God) and forget my holy mountain, I will destroy (Isaiah 65:11).’" [3]

As seen from the above Scriptures, the basis for rejecting the word god is the claim that this term is derived directly from the name of a Babylonian pagan deity which the Bible identifies in Isaiah 65:11. This linguistic argument is advanced even though modern Christian etymologist do not agree with this claim. [4] Nevertheless, the charge is made that regardless of the opinion of modern etymologist, the Teutonic language (i.e. German and English) did indeed adapted and developed the word god from the name of the false deity recorded in the Bible known as Gad.

In response to these arguments, the following observations are made:

1. We first encounter the Hebrew word gad in the book of Genesis where it is used as the name of Jacob's seventh son, born unto him by Zilpah, who was Leah's handmaid (Gen. 30:11-13). When Leah named the child, she described her motives for doing so by saying:

"A troop cometh: and she called his name Gad."

Unfortunately, the English translation conceals the natural play of words of this text. In Hebrew, this verse literally reads,

"Gadad cometh: and she called his name Gad."

Immediately we can see the connection between the name Gad and the word which the KJV renders as troop! According to Strong’s Analytical Concordance, Gad (Strong’s #1410) is derived from guwd (#1464) which means:

"To crowd upon, i.e. attack:–invade, overcome."

Strong’s also argues that guwd is linguistically "akin to 1413," that is, the word Gadad, which it defines as:

"To crowd; also to gash (as if by pressing into):–assemble (selves by troops), gather (selves together, self in troops), cut selves.

Therefore, we can easily determine the original meaning of the Hebrew word Gad to be that of an assembling of force or might with a specific goal to achieve, thus the rendering: troop. Additionally, Easton’s Bible Dictionary (as do many other references) defines Gad as "fortune; luck." Hence, the Hebrew word can also refer to "good fortune or luck."

In essence, the word Gad emphasizes the ability to deliver. As we will soon demonstrate, the deliverance may come through the use of power, force, attack and strength resulting in good fortune on account of the victory gained over one’s enemies. The deliverance could also come through wealth or abundance (that is, extreme financial power). When used of wealth, Gad carries the meaning of overwhelming abundance of distribution. We have all heard the old adage: WEALTH IS POWER! It truly is! When used in relation to an army, Gad carries the meaning of overwhelming abundance of power. When an Israelite named his child Gaddiel (Gad-dee-el as in Num.13:10), it had a connotation somewhat similar to Shaddai — which carries the thought of bountifulness. The idea of mightiness to produce wealth, fortune or protection and deliverance is manifested in this word Gaddiel (that is, El will deliver me through power and wealth)! Therefore, concepts such as bountifulness, distribution, overwhelming abundance, force (army, troop) and invading (to oppress with force, attack and conquer through might or strength) are all inherent in the Hebrew word Gad.

2. It can therefore be said that the word Gad carries the grandeur of mightiness in its intrinsic meaning (which is very similar to the Hebrew word El and Elohim). While not immediately apparent, a connection can now be demonstrated to exist between the revealed nature of Yahweh and the Hebrew word Gad as originally employed by the Scriptures.

In Genesis chapter 49, we read about the final prophetic blessing that Jacob pronounced upon each of his sons. Verse one states:

"And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days."

Throughout the chapter, Jacob describes each of his twelve sons and attributes to each what will be their future characteristics or peculiarities. In Gen. 49:19 we read regarding Gad:

"Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last."

Once again, the wonderful play of words in the Hebrew text is hidden by the English translation.

Gad, geduwd [5] guwd [6] guwd ‘aqeb [7]

Gad, a troop shall overcome him: But he shall overcome at the last.

Jacob’s entire proclamation upon his son is literally a Hebrew play of words based on his son’s name. Observe how the idea of Gad as deliverance through force, might, power, and strength is most obvious in this text: Along these lines, the Dictionary of the Bible edited by James Hastings makes the following observation on page 309:

"Gn 49:19 implies the name means a"raiding troop force" and connects it with the tribe’s experience in border warfare."

Perhaps here will be a good time to address an objection that has been proposed by some. In an attempt to minimize the impact of the fact that Leah named Jacob’s son (and therefore, one of Israel's tribes) with the name Gad, (Gawd / God) it has been argued that Leah was originally from a pagan home and may have been influenced secretly by pagan motives. However, when Leah named her son, inspiration records that she did so because she understood him as "a troop comes." Later we read that when Jacob proceeded to bless his seventh son, he predicted the same idea on his son that Leah did on her son!!

Could Leah had been under the prophetic unction of the Spirit of Yahweh when she named Jacob’s seventh son by the apparent prophetic name Gad (Gawd / God), "a troop comes?" If she was not guided by the Spirit of Yahweh Almighty in the naming of this child, we are at a lost to explain how she was able to select the very name that will later come to accurately portray the characteristics of Gad as an adult and his descendants. In naming Jacob’s seventh son as Gad, Leah was displaying the same level of inspiration (not paganism) as her husband and Moshe will do many years later! No woman can look at a newborn baby boy and accurately determine what his main personality features are going to be when he becomes an adult, unless Yahweh Almighty grants it by inspiration! Furthermore, no man can look at his adult son (despite of knowing him all his life) and accurately determine what his descendant's main personality and skill features are going to be, unless again, it is granted by inspiration! This fact alone should immediately put to rest any argument against the original purity of the Hebrew word Gad (Gawd / God).

The Schocken Bible, Volume I, attempts to preserve the Hebrew play of words by rendering the translation of Gen. 49:19 as follows:

"Gad, goading robber-band will goad him, yet he will goad at their heel."

With "robber-bands" the author means "bands of robbers." Notice that Jacob’s prophecy is that his son Gad will be attacked and to some extent overcome, but in the end, he will secure the victory and the deliverance. This is what gad really means in Hebrew!

In fact, the men of Gad would in time develop a reputation for being fierce in battle.

1Ch. 5:18-19: The sons of Reuben, and the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh, of valiant men, men able to bear buckler and sword, and to shoot with bow, and skillful in war, were four and forty thousand seven hundred and threescore, that went out to the war.

And they made war with the Hagarites, with Jetur, and Nephish, and Nodab.

1Ch. 12:14-15: These were of the sons of Gad, captains of the host: one of the least was over an hundred, and the greatest over a thousand.

These are they that went over Jordan in the first month, when it had overflown all his banks; and they put to flight all them of the valleys, both toward the east, and toward the west.

Even Moshe under the influence of inspiration foretold of the military nature that would characterize the people of the tribe of Gad.

Deut. 33:20-21: And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: he dwells as a lion, and tears the arm with the crown of the head. And he provided the first part for himself, because there, in a portion of the lawgiver, was he seated; and he came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of Yahweh, and his judgments with Israel.

The Encyclopaedia Judaica, [8] makes the following remarks about Moses’ description of Gad:

Moses declared: "Poised is he like a lion to tear off the arm and scalp" (Deut. 33:20), showing that Gad was a tribe of fighting warriors. Indeed, in the era of the monarchy, the Gadites are described as "expert in war,"...

Regarding Gad’s military reputation, Easton’s Bible Dictionary remarks;

"This tribe was fierce and warlike..."

The Complete Word Study Old Testament, [9] while commenting on the meaning of the word Gadad (Strong’s # 1413 from which the name Gad is directly derived), it states:

"The name of Gad was drawn from this root because he had military capabilities (Deut. 33:20; 1 Chr. 5:18; 12:8)."

All things considered, based on the biblical testimony seen thus far, if Gad later became the name of a pagan deity, this would be no different to the other Hebrew words that we have reviewed in our booklet. [10] Originally, it would have been a clean word that later got corrupted (just like: el, elohim, adon, baal, and countless others we prove in our book).

COMMENT: While there may be nothing inherently evil in naming a man, a tribe or a region Gad/God, try that in today’s world and see just what kind of retribution you will receive. The word God, to today’s world is so sacred that they would deem it blasphemy to name a child, a man or a region as such. The world takes this word to be the name of the Creator. It is also their definition of what He is, to wit: God is God. What we have here in this statement is God (PROPER NOUN) is God (COMMON NOUN). To today’s world, the two cannot actually be separated.

I was a member of a church at one time which named itself Worldwide Church of God. Why did it do so? The founder explained that the Savior prayed, "Holy Father, keep through Thine own name those whom Thou has given Me, that they may be one, as We are," Jn. 17:11. Therefore the name "God" had to be incorporated into the name of the group.

Later, before his death, the man discovered that the true name of the Creator was YAHWEH and he confessed as such, but preferred to continue to utilize the "God" word in the name of the group and also as the descriptive title, however, he preferred to change the words "the LORD" to "the Eternal."

He refused to embrace the true name of our Heavenly Father. He refused to change the name of the group to Worldwide Church of YAHWEH. There are over 200 groups that have splintered off from this main group now and each and everyone has incorporated the name "God" in the name of their groups. I know of only one group that has changed to the name YAHWEH and that is the Congregation of YHWH. Most of the "God" groups absolutely hate the names YAHWEH and YAHshua and froth at the mouth every time they hear them.

3. However, it is the prophet Habakkuk which gives us a glimpse of how the Hebrew word gad can be applied to Yahweh:

Hab. 3:13-18: Thou did walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters. When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he comes up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops (Heb. Guwd ).

COMMENT: THE WORD GUWD UTILIZED HERE REFERS TO HIS TROOPS, NOT TO YAHWEH. TO UTILIZE THIS WORD IN VERSE 16 IN THIS MANNER TO JUSTIFY CALLING YAHWEH GOD WILL ALSO GIVE CREDENCE TO CALLING HIM SUS (ZEUS) AS THE HEBREW WORD FOR HORSE IS THAT EXACT TERM UTILIZED IN VERSE 15. BUT IT IS SPEAKING OF THINE HORSES IN VERSE 15 EVEN AS IT IS SPEAKING OF HIS TROOPS IN VERSE 16.

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in Yahweh, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

COMMENT: THIS WORD "GOD" IS NOT A PROPER RENDERING OF THE TERM ELOHIM. PLEASE NOTICE WHAT YOU ARE ATTEMPTING TO JUSTIFY. YOU ARE ATTEMPTING TO JUSTIFY UTILIZING THE ENGLISH WORD GOD FOR THE HEBREW TERM "ELOHIM," BUT THE HEBREW TERM "GAD" DOES NOT MEAN ELOHIM, IT MEANS TROOP OR TROOPS.

PLEASE ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT THE HEBREW WORD "GAD" IS TAKEN AS A PROPER NOUN WHICH IS GIVEN AS A NAME FOR A SON OF JACOB, WHICH WE ALSO KNOW WAS A PROPER NOUN OR NAME OF A BABYLONIAN DEITY. THUS, WHAT THE WORLD DOES IS TAKE THIS WORD AS NOT ONLY A COMMON NOUN IN REFERRING TO YAHWEH AS A "GOD", BUT IT ALSO APPLIES THE WORD TO HIM AS A PROPER NOUN, TO WIT, HIS NAME. BEFORE I KNEW WHAT THE TRUE NAME OF THE CREATOR WAS, THIS IS WHEN I WAS IN CHRISTIANITY, HAD ANYONE ASKED ME WHAT THE NAME OF THE CREATOR WAS, I WOULD HAVE RESPONDED, "WHY GOD, OF COURSE!" THIS IS A GREAT SIN, MY BROTHER, THAT YOU ARE SEEKING TO JUSTIFY. THERE IS MUCH MORE TO THIS WORD "GOD" THAN MEETS THE EYE, MY BROTHER, OTHERWISE, WHY WOULD THE WORLD SEEK TO APPLY IT TO THE CREATOR IN TODAY’S WORLD? LOOK AT THE DEFINITION AGAIN: To crowd upon, i.e. attack:–invade, overcome. THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER IS THAT THIS WORD GOD HAS BEEN UTILIZED TO ATTACK, INVADE, CROWD OUT AND OVERCOME THE VERY NAME OF THE CREATOR YAHWEH. IT, ALONG WITH THE TERM "THE LORD" ARE UTILIZED TO REPLACE THE NAME YAHWEH AND ALSO THE COMMON NOUN "ELOHIM." CAN’T YOU SEE HOW THEY HAVE INVADED AND OVERCOME HIS TRUE NAME AND TITLE?

THE WORD "GOD" HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TERMS, NAMES, OR NOUNS "YAHWEH" OR "ELOHIM." ACCORDING TO YOUR OWN RESEARCH IT HAS TO DO WITH TROOPS, FORTUNE, WEALTH, POWER, ETC.

Here we see the contextual use of the Hebrew word gad in reference to the delivering hand of YAHWEH Almighty! All fears is dispersed! All crying ceases! All intimidation and disdain is no more! When YAHWEH rises to do battle for His people! YAHWEH'S gad qualities are demonstrated in the furious unleashing of His power! At the end, all that the inspired prophet can muster to say is "... I will joy in the Elohim of my salvation." And why not rejoice? After all, YAHWEH through His powerful display of His military might has brought good fortune and deliverance as a result of "gadding" (so to speak) on behalf of His people.

4. As if what we have seen thus far were not enough, we have the fact that in the book of Revelation, John records the following for us:

Rev. 7:5: Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.

COMMENT: AGAIN, I MUST REMIND YOU THAT THIS IS THE NAME OF A SON OF JACOB. BUT WHY SHOULD WE TAKE THIS NAME AND APPLY IT TO YAHWEH? IF THIS IS POSSIBLE, THEN WE CAN TAKE ALL OF THE NAMES OF THE SONS OF JACOB AND APPLY THEM TO HIM BECAUSE THEY ALL HAVE THEIR OWN MEANING WHICH CAN ALSO APPLY TO CERTAIN ATTRIBUTES OF THE CREATOR. WHAT ABOUT THE NAMES ABRAHAM, ISAAC AND JACOB? WHY DON’T WE CALL YAHWEH BY THE NAME ABRAHAM? AGAIN, YOUR LOGIC IS MISGUIDED HERE, MY DEAR BROTHER.

Rev. 21:12: And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.

Now the obvious question would be, if Yahweh so hates the word Gad (gawd/god) as many Sacred-Name believers have advocated, then why is the Almighty honoring that name throughout eternity? Was it not in the power of Yahweh to change and alter the name of Gad? Certainly it was! After all, Yahweh changed the name of Abram to Abraham, of Sara to Sarai, and of Jacob to Israel! Could he not had done the same for Gad seeing that He had divine plans of naming the twelve gates of the New Jerusalem after the Twelve Tribes of Israel? Therefore, the Hebrew word Gad cannot be as deplorable a word to the Almighty as many have supposed.

COMMENT: I DON’T EVER REMEMBER ANYONE EXPRESSING HATE FOR THE NAME "GAD/GOD" AS APPLIED TO THE SON OF JACOB NOR TO HIS DESCENDANTS. WHAT THE SACRED NAME PEOPLE HATE IS THE APPLICATION OF THIS TERM AS A REPLACEMENT OF THE NAME OF THE CREATOR OR AS A REPLACEMENT OF THE COMMON NOUN ELOHIM.

5. There is an old proverb that says, "A man convinced against his will, remains of the same opinion still." So it is not surprising to us to see some — who after reading the above — are still looking for some argument by which to still condemn the use of the word God as an English translation of the Hebrew El or Elohim. Lately, the arguments have been directed to demonstrate through scholarship and documentation that the word Gad was borrowed from heathen sources. In other words, Gad was not an original Hebrew word per se, but one that at some point in time was adapted from the Canaanites by the people who spoke Hebrew. By this argument, an attempt is made to show that even if the word Gad appears in the Hebrew Scrolls as the name of one of the 12 Tribes, of a Prophet, or a region in Israel, we cannot place too much trust on this word for its is of heathen origin and not pure Hebrew. Furthermore, the emphasis on the documentation presented is designed to hammer home the point that Gad was the personal name of the Babylonian deity of Fortune (as in Is. 65:11).

There are two fundamental flaws with the above rationale.

COMMENT: WHILE THERE WOULD BE A FLAW IN A PERSON’S THINKING THAT THE NAME "GAD" BEING THE NAME OF A SON OF JACOB, A PROPHET, A FAMILY OR A REGION WOULD BE SUSPECT, THERE IS ALSO A FLAW IN YOUR REASONING THAT THE TERM "GOD" IS A TRANSLATION OF THE HEBREW "EL" OR "ELOHIM" SINCE YOU HAVE PROVEN BY YOUR OWN RESEARCH THAT SUCH SIMPLY IS NOT THE CASE. SCHOLARLY RESEARCH DOES REVEAL THAT THE WORD "GOD" WAS A PROPER NOUN WHICH WAS APPLIED TO THE ELOHIM OF THE TEUTONIC/ANGLO-SAXON PEOPLE WHO TODAY INHABIT WESTERN EUROPE, ENGLAND, IRELAND AND THE REST OF THE ENGLISH SPEAKING WORLD. "GOD" WAS THEIR PAGAN DEITY AND UPON THEIR CONVERSION TO CHRISTIANITY THEY SIMPLY APPLIED THE NAME OF THEIR PAGAN DEITY TO THE DEITY OF THEIR (SUPPOSEDLY) NEW FAITH. GOD WAS ORIGINALLY A PROPER NOUN BECAUSE IT WAS THE NAME OF THEIR DEITY. IF YOU ARE WILLING TO ACCEPT THIS TERM AS BEING PROPERLY APPLIED TO THE CREATOR, THEN THE PAGAN NAMES OF ALL OTHER DEITIES OF ALL OTHER NATIONS WOULD ALSO APPLY.

(1) If we are going to follow and accept the word of scholars against that of inspiration, then Gad is NOT the only word that supposedly was BORROWED by the Israelites! Consider the following "scholarly" documentation, especially the underlined portions (note: statements appearing within [] are ours for clarification):

(a) Sabbath will have to go! In the book, ALL ABOUT THE BIBLE, on page 20 it states: "The earliest language spoken after the flood of which we have any knowledge was that known as Akkadian, from Akkad, the north-western division of ancient Babylonia. And it may be interesting here to mention that 'Adam,' 'Eden,' and 'Sabbath' appear to be Akkadian, not Hebrew, words."

(b) El will have to go! The Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible, on page 411, under the sub-heading EL, it states: "An echo of this meaning [that is, that EL means power] is preserved in the story of Jacob, who awoke from a dream and, realizing that he had been sleeping in a sacred place, was filled with great dread (Gen. 28:17). In the present form of the story the El is identified with Yahweh (vs. 16); this is an indication of how the old Canaanite tradition associated with the Bethel sanctuary has been reworked by Israel... The fact that the preponderance of theophorous names in the book of Genesis contain the element 'El,' and none the element 'Yahweh,' is strong evidence of the dependence of Israel's faith upon a Semitic heritage as transmitted through Canaanite cult centers."

The Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible makes the following summary regarding El on page 413, "In summary, these El names were originally pre-Israelite in their meaning. With the exception of El Shaddai, they generally appear in connection with particular Canaanite shrines and reflect ancient Semitic religion. When the Israelites came into Canaan, they took over these shrines, together with the religious traditions associated with them [which included sacred heathen words and names], and rededicated them to the worship of Yahweh."

W.E. Vine in AN EXPOSITORY DICTIONARY OF BIBLICAL WORDS on page 96 states concerning EL.: "This term was the MOST COMMON designation of deity in the Ancient Near East. He also adds: "This was particularly true for El, the chief Caanite god."

Unger's Bible Dictionary, on page 293, regarding "El," it reads: "El is a generic name for God in Northwest Semitic (Hebrew and Ugaritic), and as such it is also employed in the Old Testament for heathen deities (Exod. 34:14; Psa. 81:10; Isa. 44:10). The original generic term was 'ilum [that is, Akkadian], which dropping the mimation and the nominative case ending 'u' became el in Hebrew.

(c) Shaddai will have to go! The Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible, on page 412, relates how "El Shaddai" was worshiped during the patriatchal period when it carried the meaning of "God, the one of the mountain." It then goes on to observe, "... After the patriatchal period, the original meaning of 'Shaddai' was eclipsed, and the name occasionally was used as a synonym for 'Yahweh'..."

(d) Adon will have to go! The Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible, on page 414, regarding Adon, states: "This title ('lord'; Greek Adonis) is closely related in meaning to 'Baal' and is also of foreign origin, as indicated by its appearance in Canaanite names like Adoni-zedek (Josh. 10:3)."

(e) Ab will have to go! The Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible, on page 415, this time regarding the word ab (father), it states: "In this connection it is noteworthy that the conception of God as Father is much older than the NT or rabbinic period. It is found in the hymns of ancient Babylonia in which worshipers addressed the deity as 'Father of the Land' and in Canaanite worship of El as the all-father."

(f) Elohim will have to go! Again, on page 413 of The Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible, we read: "The 'plural of majesty' did not arise first in Israelite tradition as a result of the identification of Elohim with Yahweh or the gradual development from polytheism to monotheism. On the contrary, this is an ancient pre-Israelite expression which was employed in Babylonia and Canaan even with a singular verb."

Although we have quoted from these reputable and well-known sources,(esp. Interpreters' and Unger); the list is by no means exhausted and most other scholarly references concur and agree with the statements made by the scholars who wrote The Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible. The only competing argument of any credibility against this higher liberalism of bible critics who impugn plagiarist charges among other things against the Torah, is what we, the authors have also been saying, namely: "These SEMITIC words were common vernacular to the nations around and therefore it was only natural in their trek away from Eden that they would employ out of their own language, NAMES FOR THEIR IDOL-STATUTE-MAGICAL DEITIES"

This should not be surprising when we consider that one can make an elohim and elohim can be a lifeless magical incantation statute of demonic source AS WELL as the True and Living elohim, Yahweh!

Therefore, were one to argue that based on scholarship opinion Gad was a borrowed term — and as such, it cannot be applied to Yahweh — then one would have to argue the same for the words Sabbath, El, Shaddai, Adon, Ab, Elohim, and a much large host of Hebrew words that in order to be brief we have chosen not to document. In logic there is a principle that we all will do well to follow: "An argument that proves too much, proves nothing." Besides, were we to still insist in viewing Gad as a borrowed heathen word (instead of an original pure Hebrew term), we would be compelled by logic to accept the fact that Yahweh chose to inspired Leah to use a pagan word in order to name what will later become one of the eternal tribes of Israel and a gate in the New Jerusalem!

COMMENT: THEN ALSO THE TERMS ZEUS, JUPITER, SOIREES, ISIS, TAMMUZ, EASTER, ETC., ETC. MUST ALSO BE ACCEPTABLE. MY DEAR BROTHER, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS LOOK AROUND YOU AND SEE WHAT THE WORLD IS UTILIZING AS ITS OWN ACCEPTABLE TERMS OF YAHWEH. THE WORLD IS UTILIZING THE TERM "GOD" AS BOTH A PROPER AND COMMON NOUN IN RELATION TO THE CREATOR. THE WORLD IS ALSO UTILIZING THE TERM "THE LORD" AS A COMMON AND PROPER NOUN OF THE CREATOR. YOUR REASONING AND LOGIC IS THE ONE THAT IS FLAWED AND YOU ARE GIVING POWER AND JUSTIFICATION TO THE ENEMIES OF THE SACRED NAMES TO CONTINUE TO UTILIZE THE TERMS IN LIEU OF THE TRUE HOLY NAMES AND TITLES. DOES THE WORLD KNOW WHAT IT IS DOING? ISN’T THE WORLD STEEPED IN ERROR? OR HAS THE WORLD BEEN CORRECT ALL THE TIME AND WE HAVE BEEN THE ONES IN ERROR? DON’T YOU REMEMBER THAT THE WORLD IS AT ENMITY WITH YAHWEH? EVEN THOUGH THE NAME "GAD" WILL BE ON ONE OF THE GATES TO THE NEW JERUSALEM, IS IT A TERM THAT IS APPLIED TO THE CREATOR OR SIMPLY TO THE GATE BECAUSE IT IS THE NAME OF ONE OF THE SONS OF JACOB?

EVEN THOUGH MANY OF THE HEBREW TERMS MAY BE FOUND IN OTHER RELIGIONS AND APPLIED TO OTHER DEITIES, SUCH AS EL, ELOHIM, EL SHADDAI, ADON, ETC. THE SIMPLE FACT OF THE MATTER IS THAT YAHWEH INSPIRED THESE TERMS TO APPLY TO HIMSELF. SOME SACRED NAME BELIEVERS MAY THROW THESE TERMS OUT, BUT IF THEY ARE IN SCRIPTURE AS TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS OF YAHWEH, THEN THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THEM. YOU WILL FIND TERMS SUCH AS YAHWEH ELOHENU OR HA ELOHIM YAHWEH OR ADONAI YAHWEH OR HA ADON YAHWEH, BUT YOU WILL NOT FIND THE TERM HA GAD/GOD YAHWEH OR YAHWEH HA GAD/GODU. THUS, NO MATTER WHAT YOU HAVE PHILOSOPHIZED ABOVE, IT IS ALL USELESS AND EMPTY.

(2) The second fundamental flaw is that so much special attention has been given to Gad as the personal name of a Babylonian deity meaning Fortune, that the linguistic fact that the word Gad is rarely used with this meaning in the Hebrew scrolls has been totally ignored!

COMMENT: DO YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT THIS TERM HAS BEEN UTILIZED AS THE CREATOR'S NAME OR AS HIS TITLE? THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE SEEKING TO JUSTIFY HERE AND THERE ARE NO HEBREW SCROLLS WHICH HAVE UTILIZED THE TERM YAHWEH GOD OR THE TERM THE GOD YAHWEH. IT IS ALWAYS YAHWEH ELOHIM OR THE ELOHIM YAHWEH. AGAIN, YOUR REASONING AND LOGIC ARE FLAWED HERE BECAUSE THE TERM GOD (GAD) IS NOT EQUIVALENT TO THE TERM EL OR ELOHIM IN THE HEBREW.

A review of all the usages of gad in torah, AMAZINGLY REVEALS that a whopping incredible NINETY-NINE PERCENT(99%) OF THE TIME IT IS USED FAVORABLY while SURPRISINGLY ONLY ONE- PERCENT of the time IT IS USE NEGATIVELY OR UNFAVORABLY. It defies logic therefore to see some of our opposers advocating baal as inspired as a common noun despite the FACT that this word probably HAS THE GREATEST CONDEMNATION IN SCRIPTURE AND INDEED HAS A NINETY-NINE PERCENT UNFAVORABLE RATING and ONLY A ONE-PERCENT FAVORABLE ONE, while taking other Yahudites and Ephramites to task for using gad (gawd-god).

COMMENT: THE ENGLISH WORD GOOD IS A FAVORABLE WORD WHICH IS TAKEN FROM THE WORD GOD. MANY THINGS ARE GOOD. EVEN YAHWEH IS GOOD, BUT THIS IS UTILIZED AS A FAVORABLE EXPRESSION AND NOT AS THE EXPRESSION OF HIS GREAT AND MIGHTY POWER AS THE TERMS EL, ELOHIM, OR MIGHTY ONE ARE UTILIZED.

As we have demonstrated earlier in this article, Gad refers more (99% so!) to the ability to deliver through the use of power, force, attack and strength. The meaning "fortune" is secondary in the Scriptures. Naturally, we do not deny that there was in fact a Babylonian deity by this name (as in Is. 65:11). However, we find that scholars are too eager to "read into the Hebrew scrolls" the Babylonian meaning and usage of Gad rather than to extract the actual literal usage of the word in a case by case basis, as done in most linguistic research. Thus, when Gad is used of the seventh son of Jacob, of the tribe that bears his name, and of Yahweh in Habakkuk 3:13-18, it should be logically obvious to any casual reader that the intended meaning cannot be "fortune"!!

COMMENT: AGAIN, THE CREATOR YAHWEH IS NOT CALLED GOD/GAD IN ALL OF SCRIPTURE. EVEN THOUGH A HEBREW SON OF JACOB, A FAMILY AND REGION MAY HAVE BEEN NAMED GOD/GAD, WHY SHOULD WE THEN RENAME THE CREATOR AFTER THE NAME OF A MAN, FAMILY OR REGION? YAHWEH'S NAME HAS ALWAYS BEEN YAHWEH. HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN ELOHIM. WHY FOLLOW THE EXAMPLE OF A WORLD THAT IS ANTAGONISTIC TO YAHWEH AND RENAME HIM TO SUIT OUR OWN PURPOSES AND DESIRES? WHY NOT UTILIZE THAT WHICH HAS BEEN INSPIRED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT?

PS. IMPORTANT COMMENTARY NOTE:

There are some who in their zeal would rather adopt self-made rules and a supposed piousness and faulty logic all intended to scare the uninitiated. However, it should be noted that the evidence clearly shows that from Genesis to Revelation (and beyond) that the Patriarchs, Prophets, Kings, Apostles and Yes!- the very ANGELS themselves dared to keep a consistent tread. It is only the unwise and the foolish who will dare to tread where THEY HAVE NOT TRODDED!

COMMENT: THEN WHY ARE YOU TREADING IN PLACES WHEREIN THEY HAVE FEARED TO TREAD? WHY HAVE YOU NOT REMAINED CONSISTENT? THE ONLY ANGELS WHO HAVE NOT FEARED TO TREAD IN THE UNWISE PATHS ARE THE EVIL ANGELS AND YOU CAN BET THAT THEY LOVE THE WORD "GOD" BECAUSE IT TAKES AWAY AND DETRACTS FROM YAHWEH ELOHIM.

The Patriarchs, Prophets, Kings, Apostles and Yes!,- my friends the very ANGELS themselves did NOT ATTEMPT to differentiate themselves from the GENERIC TITLES OF THEIR HEATHEN NEIGHBORS AROUND. The distinction was not in the titles that separated them but in the PROCLAMATION OF THE NAME YAHWEH!!

COMMENT: YOU HAVE NOT PROVEN IN THIS WRITE UP THAT THE TERM GOD IS A TITLE FOR THE CREATOR. THROUGH FLAWED REASONING, YOU HAVE JUSTIFIED THOSE WHO REMAIN ADAMANT IN THEIR REFUSAL TO UTILIZE THE TRUE NAME OF THE CREATOR IN LIEU OF A FALSE ONE. THE SIMPLE FACT OF THE MATTER IS THAT THE WORLD LOVES THIS WORD AS BOTH NAME AND TITLE. THEY DO NOT SEPARATE BETWEEN THE TWO. WHAT YOU HAVE DONE AND ARE DOING IS GIVING THEM JUSTIFICATION TO CONTINUE IN THEIR ERROR.

Put another way, Pharaoh did not have any trouble understanding who El was for this was as common a name and title for egyptian deities, babylonian deities, phoenician deities and the Ur of Chaldee deities from whence Abram came out of. Pharoh. rather, my fellow Yahudites and Ephramites was concerned with who was this el called Yahweh. He was not familiar with this name which will give him BIG TROUBLE and MORE THAN HE COULD HANDLE! El was used genericly by all pagan deities but it was the worship of Yahweh as the only elohim of Israel that made the difference.

COMMENT: WHILE THIS IS TRUE TO A POINT. THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS THAT EL WAS UTILIZED IN THAT WORLD AS A PROPER NOUN JUST LIKE THE TERM GOD IS IN THIS WORLD TODAY. AGAIN, YAHWEH, IN HIS WORD HAD JUSTIFIED UTILIZING THE TERMS EL AND ELOHIM IN TITULAR REFERENCE TO HIM, BUT HE HAS NEVER UTILIZED THE TERM GOD/GAD AS A TITULAR REFERENCE.

Today, we are now having those with a zeal but sadly lacking knowledge who are indeed and truly erringly treading where ANGELS NEVER DARED TO TREAD and I may add-neither Patriarchs, prophets, kings or Apostles and not even Yahweh himself who even uses words that were before and after used of false idols, magical items, etc. We, also find ourselves using generic words. Even our very word "the" comes from "theos". But more importantly our whole english language when a thorough analysis is made and with the constant unearthing of archaelogical finds, reveals a plethora of names of idols that are now GENERIC TITLES THAT WERE FIRST USED BY HEATHENS AS NAMES OF THEIR DEITIES. Two as an example which we will be hard-pressed to eliminate are the words MAN and BABY. We still say Yahweh is a Man of war. And we address each other by the designation Man or Men of Yahweh.

COMMENT: I MUST SAY BROTHER, THAT YOU ARE ALSO LACKING KNOWLEDGE CONCERNING THE TERM "GOD". THERE IS MUCH MORE TO THIS THAN YOU HAVE EVEN BEEN ABLE TO UNDERSTAND YOURSELF. OF COURSE, WHEN I PRESENT YOU WITH THE PROOF, I HOPE THAT YOU WILL REPENT, AND I WILL PRESENT YOU WITH THE PROOF SOMETIME IN THE FUTURE, YAHWEH WILLING.

The wrong fear tactic should not be done. We have about 14 million Jehovah Witnesses who has proven over more than one-hundred years that their children and children's children can still make a very marked distinction and disdain over their proclamation of the Name Jehovah (we know this is a hybrid but this is not the purpose of this article); yet though proclaiming the Name, they keep the common thread of generic titles like their surrounding neighbors. And, contrary to the claim, all their opposers and christianity in general (since they consider themselves different from christianity and special) CONSIDER THEM TO BE A JEHOVAH PROCLAIMING PEOPLE AND SO THEIR REPUTATION FOLLOWS THEM and this even with using so-called christianity's generic titles. It has not confused them, or hindered their organization for over one hundred years and true to form it has not confused their children. And certainly it has not confused the christian world or secular world for that matter, for wherever they go and wherever they settle down, they are at once known as a peopld that proclaim the Name Jehovah and are not only SEEN AS DIFFERENT AND EVEN QUEER BUT TREATED AS DIFFERENT BECAUSE OF THEIR DEVOTION AND INSISTENCE ON JEHOVAH. So much for our unwarranted fears that generic titles would affect us. It has not affected 14 million Jehovah witnessess and their usage of the same has not earned them one brownie points or golden star with their detractors!

COMMENT: WHAT A PRIME EXAMPLE. THE PROBLEM IS THAT IF WE PRESENT THE JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES WITH THE TRUE NAME YAHWEH, THEY MAY RESPOND WITH THE KNOWLEDGE THAT YAHWEH IS MORE PROPER THAN JEHOVAH, BUT SINCE THE WORLD HAS ALREADY BEEN ABLE TO MORE EASILY IDENTIFY THE NAME JEHOVAH, WHY ROCK THE BOAT? IN OTHER WORDS, THEY (THE GREAT OVERALL MAJORITY) ADAMANTLY REFUSE TO ACCEPT THE TRUTH AND TURN TO IT. THEY CONTINUE TO TEACH ERROR AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE DOING BY UTILIZING THIS EXAMPLE, JUSTIFYING OTHERS TO CONTINUE IN ERROR RATHER THAN REPENT.

A QUESTION PLEASE.

On the day of Pentecost, why didn't the Ruach spirit make the people of diverse languages understand Hebrew or do a miracle and have them speak in Hebrew? (See Acts 2-5) AMAZINGLY, rather, the Ruach Spirit adopted THEIR OWN LANGUAGE AND SPOKE TO THEM WITH THE USAGE OF THEIR OWN LANGUAGE. THIS MEANS THE COMMON GENERIC TERMS AND WORDS WERE USED BY THE SPIRIT OF YAHWEH! He did not use common Hebrew Terms. If we deny or challenge this, then we are forced into the inevitable conclusion that we must only say adon" and not Master or Sovereign. We must only say elohim and not Theos or god or mighty one, etc. We must only say Ruach and not spirit; we must only say kodesh and not holy or sacred or separate. I think you get the picture.

COMMENT: ON THAT DAY OF PENTECOST THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE WAS NOT IN EXISTENCE. THE VERY WORD "ENGLISH" COMES FROM THE WORD "ANGLE" WHICH MEANS TO BE BENT OR CROOKED. ONE OF THE DEFINITIONS FOR "ANGLE" IS "A TRICKY METHOD FOR ACHIEVING A PURPOSE." ALSO "TO SCHEME OR USE TRICKS TO GET SOMETHING." (WEBSTER’S NEW WORLD DICTIONARY) ISN’T IT AMAZING THAT THERE IS A DECEPTIVE SERPENT NAMED SATAN WHO UTILIZES TRICKY SCHEMES TO GET WHAT HE WANTS? HE SEEKS TO EXALT HIMSELF ABOVE THE STARS OF EL (YAHWEH). SCRIPTURE REVEALS THAT SATAN HAS DECEIVED THE WHOLE WORLD. ALMOST THE WHOLE WORLD IS FAMILIAR WITH AND UTILIZED THE TERM "GOD" IN REFERENCE TO THE CREATOR AS HIS NAME (PROPER NOUN) AND ALSO AS A DESCRIPTION (COMMON NOUN). MOST OF THE WORLD HAS NEVER HEARD OF THE NAME YAHWEH NOR THE COMMON NOUNS EL OR ELOHIM. NOW YOU ARE MAKING A STAND TO CAUSE THE WORLD TO JUSTIFY CONTINUING IN ITS IGNORANCE.

This would also mean that the ruach spirit would not have used the pagan word "man" or baby, or king, or grace, etc. If I recall right, even the word Feast and the word "festival" has pagan connections!

There is no end in sight if we make issues of words and generics.

COMMENT: IT IS WITH WORDS THAT WE ARE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE AND UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER. THUS ISSUES MUST BE MADE OF WORDS. BUT ONE THING THAT WE MUST REFRAIN FROM IS THE UTILIZATION OF WORDS THAT TAKE AWAY FROM YAHWEH'S MAJESTY AND GIVE IT TO ANOTHER. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE WORD "GOD" DOES BECAUSE YOU CAN’T SEPARATE THE PROPER NOUN AND COMMON NOUN IN THE WORLD’S MIND.

We do not come any more distinct than the Jehovah Witnesses, who despite using generic terms are not view as within the bosom of christianity (nor do they desire to be so viewed). Even so, despite the fact that the ancients utilized and had in common the same generic terms, the difference was in, as said before, THE PROCLAMATION OF THEIR el WHO WAS NONE OTHER THAN YAHUWEH and Pharoah found this out in the most painful way which caused his demise!- I, therefore have opted to go where my Ancient inspired Yahudites/ Ephramites, and ANGELS have treaded before, and confidently tread where THEY HAVE TRODDED! - halleluyah!

COMMENT: READ THE SCRIPTURES AGAIN. BOTH JUDAH AND ISRAEL WALKED DOWN FORBIDDEN PATHWAYS AND ARE DOING SO TODAY. YOU ARE GOING IN THE SAME WAY THAT THE PROPHETS WARNED AGAINST.

This issue begins to run a two part series entitled "Who Is EliYah The Prophet?" Suffice it to say that there are several or even many in today’s world who imagine themselves to be the prophesied Elijah or EliYah/EliYahu. Our article should reveal to you who the real EliYah is without question.

But there is another who seems to like to proclaim himself to be "That Prophet." Of course, this man’s mentor was Herbert W. Armstrong who proclaimed himself to be the prophesied Elijah. Sorry folks, he was wrong and the church was wrong to support such an idea. This man who proclaims himself to be "that prophet" declares that Elijah means My God is God. Now I know that this man is highly educated, but when he makes such a statement as this, it reveals that either he isn’t a qualified student of Hebrew or he is purposely corrupting the truth. How can I say such a thing? Well….let’s look and see.

EliYah or EliYahu or Elijah is a combination of two Hebrew words. "El" and "Yah" or "Yahu." EliYah is the short form and EliYahu is the longer form. "El" means strength, mighty or the Almighty. It is generally translated into the English as the word God. However this word "El" is a common noun and is utilized in Scripture not only for Yahweh but even the false pagan gods. It is utilized for Yahweh and the false gods in like fashion to the word man or men. I am a man. My name is Jerry Healan. I am "the man (common noun) Jerry Healan (proper nouns)." The true "El" (common noun) is "Yah (proper noun)." Another false "el" (common noun) is "Baal" (proper noun).

"Yah" or "Yahu" is a shortened form for the name Yahweh. Psalm 68:4 declares, "Sing unto Elohim, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH (Hebrew = Yah), and rejoice before him." Notice that! "Yah" is a proper noun. It is the very proper noun that happens to be the shortened version of the name of the Creator and Heavenly Father Yahweh! Therefore, EliYah should be translated as "My Mighty One (Eli) is Yah, or Yah is my Stength (Strong One), or The Almighty is Yah! Do you see how this man who exalts himself as "That Prophet" has erred in his interpretation?

Moses told the children of Israel that Yahweh would raise up a prophet like unto himself and cautioned that the people should listen to that prophet (Dt. 18:15-19). This is "That Prophet" that HWA’s student claims to be. But how can this be when "That Prophet" is the one who will stand between the people and Yahweh (vv. 16-17, see also Psa. 106:23)? In other words, "That Prophet" is the one who will be the Mediator between Yahweh and the people, between heaven and earth.

Peter declares that Yahshua is "That Prophet" in Acts 3:19-23. Paul also reveals that Yahshua is the Mediator (1 Tim. 2:5), thus making Yahshua to be "That Prophet" spoken of in Dt. 18. It is Yahshua that "mediates" the New and better Covenant, just as Moses "mediated" the Old Covenant. Therefore, the only one who fits the description as "That Prophet" is Yahshua the Messiah. Furthermore, Yahshua has the power to write Yahweh’s law upon our hearts.

This man who proclaims himself to be "That Prophet" decrees that the Creator only works through one man at a time, and since his mentor HWA was "The Elijah" and he is "That Prophet," to not listen to him and to refuse to submit to his authoritative power will cause one to be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone suffering the second death. Wow!! Do you know what this means? To not submit to this man (who can’t even get the name of the Creator nor the meaning of the name Elijah right, whether purposefully or through ignorance)...to not put oneself under this man’s authority is the UNPARDONABLE SIN! That’s putting oneself on an extremely high pedestal. As a matter of fact, another being placed himself on a very high pedestal back in the far reaches of history, but he was cast down from that pedestal whereupon he had placed himself (See Isa. 14:12-23).

When EliYah thought that he was the only one left in Israel who worshipped Yahweh, Yahweh told him that He had reserved 7,000 men who hadn’t bowed the knee to Baal. That’s 7,000 men that EliYah was ignorant of. This should be proof enough that Yahweh works through more than one person at a time. (Beware all you churches and assemblies who are exclusive.)

Here is the judgment of this man who erroneously proclaims to be "That Prophet," "But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die," Dt. 18:20.

This man presumes to speak in the name of the Creator when he is shown to deny, reject and even hate the very name, the only name of the Creator Yahweh. Therefore, he is speaking in the name of other gods.

We would encourage those who are blindly following this man to hastily repent and turn to the True Savior Yahshua Who is truly "That Prophet," and His Father Yahweh. Of course, we would also encourage this man who loves to exalt himself over others to also REPENT, HUMBLE YOURSELF, and PLACE YOURSELF UNDER THE HAND OF THE TRUE SAVIOR YAHSHUA! There is still time for repentance, but the time for repentance will eventually end (See Rev. 2:20-23).
