The Importance Of The Names Yahweh And Yah'shua for Salvation( 1 Kings 18:24; Joel 2:32; Acts 2:21; Acts 4:7-12; Rom.10:9-14).

Can we receive salvation without calling on the Saving Name of YAH-SHUA for salvation?

Answer

The first part of the question is can we know someone intimately without knowing their name? This is a step that we must take to start understanding the importance of names. In Hebrew the name of a person is related to the person's character and in many cases is the recognition of whom they worship. An example of this is Michael which means one who is like EL. Yahweh in Hebrew means one who provides or one who exists. Yahweh is a conjunction of Yahh and hawah. Yahh is the short form of Yahweh or the root of Yahweh. Yahh is the family name and hawah represents the purpose of our creator. Hawah means to breathe which is important because it is the breathe of Yahweh that sustains us. When the breathe of Yahweh leaves we die.

Yahh is defined in Strong's Exhaustive Concordance by number 3050 Yahh yaw contraction for 03068, and meaning the same, the sacred( saving) name, see names ending with " iah" or " jah ".

Hawah is defined in Strong's Exhaustive Concordance by number 1933 and 1944 hawah to breathe, to be, (in the sense of existence)

The Name of "Je'hovah" means bringer of ruin or destroyer. " Hovah " is defined in Strong's Exhaustive Concordance by Hebrew numbers 1942 and 1943 and has been translated as " ruin and mischief, iniquity, lawlessness". This is one of the many reasons that the name of "Jehovah " is not, nor could ever be used in SUBSTITUTION or alternative for " Yahueh " or "Yahweh ". Not to mention the letter " J " is only about 500 years old, and the last letter that was added in the English language and have never existed in the Hebrew language. Yahweh will become what his people need of him. Yahushua means " Yahweh Saves " or Yahueh is salvation. The modern name " Jesus " doesn't mean this in any language. Rather than trying to change Yahweh and Yahushua to fit our needs we should strive to become more like Yahushua. We should walk the path that of the old ways that Yahweh has given us in His Torah or law. This is to confirm that we love Yahweh and Yahushua.

The second part of this question was does it lead to salvation or is it required for salvation to call upon the name " Yahueh " or "Yahweh " which pronounces the same .

The truth must be told, as the truth will stand before all else.

The name Yah-shua leaves out the third ( 3rd ) letter waw in Messiah's Name Yahu-shua , though I have also used the name of "" Yahshua "" before because others have used it and for unity sake, however the truth must be shown and proven( 1 Thess.5:21). I do not condemn others for their understanding and use of Yah-shua of or for a similar reason, and a I do not condemn those even though they use Yeshua either.

However, since those who use the name " Yahshua " are now being singled out by some few others for the use of this name the truth must be shown and known to all for the love of Messiah, and the sake of truth for the common people.

Yod - Produces a "Y" or "I" sound.

Heh - As a Hebrew vowel letter it produces the "Ah" or "Oh" sound (like in #8283 "Sarah" and #8010 Sh'lomoh). Otherwise produces the "H" sound and the "ah" sound would have to be supplied by the reader.

Waw - Also called "Vav". As a Hebrew vowel letter it produces an "oo" (u) or "oh" sound (like in #7307 Ruach). Otherwise produces a "W" sound. This is the ignored letter in the pronunciation "Yahshua". This letter is nowhere represented. Where is the W or initial U??

Shin - Produces the "sh" sound. The following "oo" sound is indicated by a vowel pointing but Deut. 3:21 and Judges 2:7 actually gives us another "waw" after this letter, proving the "shu" pronunciation as valid. This is why Strong's 3091 gives 2 possible spellings (see above lexicon graphic). This also eliminates "Yasha/Yahusha" and "Yahoshea/Yahushea" as being possibilities.

Ayin - Silent without a vowel point but indicates an "ah" sound at the end of "Yahu-shua".

Yod-Heh-Waw-Shin-Ayin==Yahushua is really Messiah's Name, as for the name Yah-shua there is no Hebrew letter " Waw " in it, and the name " Yah-shua " leaves out this 3rd Hebrew letter, and following is the scriptural proof for correction in righteousness.( 2 Tim.3:16-17 ).

If you really believe those who are deceived ( Rev.12:9) in this world's traditional christian religious denominations who think we cannot know the true Name of YHWH and what the vowel sounds were in Yahweh's name, then you had better do some digging in the scriptures if you can receive it.

For it only takes a little researching in the original scriptures to find the pronunciation of " Yod- Heh- Waw " which is the first 3 letters in the Tetragrammaton that the scribes had no problem giving the correct written pronunciation of these three letters at the end of many names in " iah " or " jah ".

Here below are a couple examples of names ending in " yahu " or " yah " though the Strongs Exaustive Concordance will show you many many more than these two examples.

Now, please look at the names ending in " iah or jah " that contain Hebrew number 3050 such as Strongs Hebrew number 452==" Eli-jah " or more correctly transliterated is Eli-yahu-w or " Eliyah " for short, and Hebrew number 3470 of " Isa-iah or - Yesha-yahu-w or " Yesha-yah " for short.

The reason I'm making a dash = -- break- in these names is for you to SEE the YAHU in these names and the Hebrew number 3050.

( James H.Strongs , reprinted 1985 in his Hebrew Concordance Dictionary, Page 47 of the Number) 3050 Yahh.yaw contraction for 3068, and mean the same; Jah, the sacred name:-Jah the Lord, most vehement, Cp. NAMES IN " iah "-"jah ".

Notice the short " Yahu " in these names at their endings that contain the Strongs Hebrew number 3050 of ( Yah ). See thee address below of the Strongs Concordance Lexicon for the many many more examples proving this truth.

The names that ends in " Yahu ", there was considered to be no risk in accidentally or mistakenly saying the name "Yahueh " or as modern scholars use " Yahweh ". This also explains why the scribes used the correct vowel points in the short form of " Yahueh " or " Yahweh's " name of ( "Yah" ) that only appears in ( Psalms 68:4 ) of the N. K. J.V.English translation of scriptures.

So, the Scribes used the correct vowel pointing in "HalleluYah", however, the only time they would revert to the "Yeho" pronunciation of these three letters was when it was at the beginning of a Hebrew name.( See Pages 47-48 of the 1985 Edition of the Strongs Exaustive Concordance of all the names beginning with " Yeh " ).

Also, notice that the scribes combined and added the vowel points of Hebrew Numbers " 136 " the meaning of " LORD " to Hebrew numbers 3068 and 3069 of YHWH which is Yod-Heh-Waw-Heh.

They also combined and added Hebrew number " 430 " to Hebrew number 3069 as to not repeat either " Elohim Elohim " twice in repetition of the same sound in place of the true name of " Yahweh Elohim " and also it would remind the reader to say either " Adonai " =Lord " instead or in substitute place of YHWH= Yahweh= Yod-Heh-Waw-Heh.

This combining of Hebrew number " 136 " which is " Adonay " == " Lord " with the four letters of YHWH= Yod-Heh-Waw-Heh is what brought about the false name of " Je' hovah " that was invented before the 14th Century, and is used falsely by the " Je'hovah Witnesses " unto this day.

3069 Yhovih yeh-ho-vee' a variation of 3068 (used after 136, and pronounced by Jews as 430, in order to prevent the repetition of the same sound, since they elsewhere pronounce 3068 as 136):--God.

Now back to the correct Name of " Yahushua " as Messiah's true Name.

Also, if you will look at the first 3 letters in the Hebrew Name number 3091 of Messiah Yahushua which is read from right to left in Hebrew they are from left to right as Yod-Heh- Waw of -- Yod-Heh-Waw-Shin-Ayin= Yahushua.

Then , when you look at the first 3 letters of the Hebrew number 3068= YHWH or the Tetragrammaton that is also read from right to left in Hebrew you get from left to right Yod-Heh-Waw of-- Yod-Heh-Waw-Heh== Yahueh or Yahweh

Do you see what I see ? We have the first 3 letters of 3091 , the Hebrew in Messiah's Name as "" Yod-Heh-Waw -- from Yod-Heh-Waw-Shin-Ayin= Yahushua "" is the same first 3 letters that is in the Tetragrammaton of YHWH of the Father of "" Yod-Heh-Waw-- from -Yod- Heh-Waw-Heh== YHWH= Yahueh or Yahweh.

Here now you have both the Father YHWH= Yahweh Name known even in pronounciation, and the true correct Name of the Son our Redeemer Yahushua Messiah.

The Father YHWH = Yahweh is Yod-Heh-Waw-Heh, and the Son Yahushua Messiah is Yod-Heh-Waw-Shin-Ayin

Or, pronounced Yoth-Hey- Waw-Hey.

Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is YAHWEH. (Jeremiah 16:21)

And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of Yahweh. (Genesis 4:26 AV)

Men began to call on Yahweh early in the scriptures. Moses used the name Yahweh through out the Torah starting in Genesis 2:4.

And call ye on the name of your deities, and I will call on the name of Yahweh: and the Elohim that answereth by fire, let him be Elohim. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken. And Eliyahu said unto the prophets of Baal=lord, Choose you one bullock for yourselves, and dress it first; for ye are many; and call on the name of your deities, but put no fire under. (1 Kings 18:24-25 AV)

This is an excellent example of the power of Almighty Yahweh because Eliyahu went to great extremes to make wood on the altar inflammable. Yahweh showed that day to all the worshippers of Baal that there is only one true EL and His name is Yahweh. This demonstrated that Eliyahu didn't use any trickery to show Yahweh's power. Notice that he called on Yahweh and the pagan prophets called on Baal=lord.

So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name. Turn us again, O Yahweh Elohim of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved. (Psalms 80:18-19 AV)

His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed. (Psalms 72:17 AV)

And in that day shall ye say, Praise Yahweh, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. (Isaiah 12:4 AV)

Yahweh is truly a name that is to be called upon when we refer to our heavenly father. Why should we not call upon Yahweh's name? Isn't Yahweh's name in our Savior's name? What better way than to use our Master's name to show him that we know him. If we call on His name we should then also be concerned that we keep all Yahweh's laws and that we are an example in this world. (Matthew 5:14-16) Yahweh's Kingdom is coming and we must make ourselves ready with Yahweh's help. One of the greatest sacrifices that Yahweh made was the giving of Yahushua the Messiah.

We find throughout the New Testament that we are to be baptized in Yahweh-shua's name. It is important that we enter into baptism ready. As with Yahweh-shua after baptism we are hit with many purifying trials. We must make sure that our baptism is done with the authority and in the name of Yahweh-shua the Messiah. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Yahushua. (Luke 1:31 AV)

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Master shall be saved. (Acts 2:21 AV)

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Master shall be saved. (Romans 10:13 AV)

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Yahushua the Messiah for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38 AV)

But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of Yahweh, and the name of Yahushua the Messiah, they were baptized, both men and women. (Acts 8:12 AV)

(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Master Yahushua.) (Acts 8:16 AV)

Baptism in the name Jesus doesn't mean that you are baptized in the name Yahushua. Paul talked about only one baptism and that baptism was in the name of Yahushua the Messiah. We must also realize that this should stop baptism into an organization. We are not to baptized into a organization as some would have you believe. We are to be baptized into the body of Messiah.

When someone asks why you don't believe that Jesus can substitute for Yahushua let it be known that the scriptures clearly illustrate that we must be baptized into the name Yahshua. The scriptures are clear and when names are used across different languages they are not changed. Yahweh is pronounced Yahweh in English as well as Spanish, French, Russian, Chinese, etc. Some will say that it doesn't matter what you call God because he will know whom you are talking. This is a selfish explanation of why some will not use Yahweh's name. Is not satan a god? "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Messiah, who is the image of Yahweh, should shine unto them." (2 Corinthians 4:4 AV) It is not enough just to believe. Thou believest that there is one Elohim; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. (James 2:19 AV)

It is also the third commandment that says not to take Yahweh's name in vain. Not using Yahweh's name is taking it in vain. Isn't the nonuse as bad as the wrongful use? We must be willing to stand up and rejoice before Yahweh through songs of praise. Praise His Holy Name, HalleluYah.

As we strive to walk the path of Yahushua we must be willing to do all that is required of us. We must show Yahweh and Yahushua that we are striving to be veritable sons and daughters. We are to be a called out people. The seal of Yahweh is His name. (Rev 7:2,4-9; Rev.14:1) We must take the stance that if we will consider being called a student of Yahweh then we must become intimate and personal enough to use the Saving Names. It is a blessing to serve such a wonderful Father Yahweh and Yahushua Messiah our Redeemers.

Who shall not fear thee, O Yahweh, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. (Revelation 15:4 AV) .

Now you know their true Names, and their pronounciation as the Father YHWH is YAHWEH as the correct transliteration in pronounciation in English, however, Yod-Heh-Waw-Heh the four letters of the Tetragrammaton is Yahweh, and the true Name of the Son our Redeemer Yahushua Messiah is - Yod-Heh-Waw-Shin-Ayin .
