outofcharacter updates (June 24th, 2008)
Happy Tuesday! hehe just a few quick updates to keep us all on track =). First of all, welcome new members! We're so glad to have you guys! <3 Also, if everybody could pitch in a little bit and advertise and whatnot, that'd be wonderful. Always remember that roleplaying isn't any fun without a bunch of other people! Hopefully that's good enough motivation to spread the word and bring even more people into the amazing world of Ello Beastie. Hehe. Anywho - I updated the members page today, PLEASE check it and make sure all of the information is correct. If something is wrong, just notify either myself or Briar on the OOC board. Also, we're working on controlling that spamming nonsense that keeps getting put up on some of our boards, if you notice anything that doesn't belong don't hesitate to ask about it! The Era of Pirates is coming to an end, and pirate-kind is being exterminated ship by ship. It is no longer a question of "how can we survive" but merely how to go out the best. The Court of Brethren has been called together, summoning the nine pirate Lords from the four corners of the world and whoever else they may invite along to Shipwreck Cove. It is a meeting that Cutler Beckett looks foward to as the last stand of the pirates and whoever they will elect as their first and last pirate king. Before they can elect their King however, all Pirate Lords must be present which is slightly hard when one is dead without an heir and another is sailing to the end of the world and back to bring back witty Jack. Needless to say, it is a stale mate for the pirates. They can do nothing but wait in the center of storm, and wonder what will happen and when it will happen. They must wait until Barbossa, Will, Elizabeth, and what remains of the Black Pearls crew to return with the layabout Lord of the Caribbean Sea, after sailing through the weird and haunted waters of World's End. They must wait while the rescuers bring Jack back. Then, they must wait while the Lords decide on a pirate King. The easiest thing to do may be the sailing. The probability of the Lords agreeing? There is a saying that says "when nine pirate captain gather to chart a course it is eight too many".
WEATHER: It is day in the Caribbean and night in Singapore. A rough storm blows North towards the Caribbean, while humidity and a sudden change in temperature has covered Singapore with a thick fog. In both areas the seas turn and twist, sending sailors over board and flooding drooping houses. It seems to be a foreshadowing time for the sea, foreshadowing the storm about to blow into the Pirate's Port.

‘ello Beastie is one of the first role playing games of its kind. Pirate role playing games are not often created, due to the difficulty of creating oceans, role playing battles, etc. and Pirates of the Caribbean role playing games are almost non-existent on b2g2. Combining the two, obviously, is not something many attempt to do, especially on boardstogo.com. Not only have we created something here at ‘ello Beastie we guarantee you will not find anywhere else, we are using the plot of the third movie as our guidelines for our semi-original plot, but for our own purposes we are tweaking it here and there to allow more freedom for our writers. Welcome to ello Beastie, where all is nothing and everything great is coming to an end.
