London has always been a city I love.

So close to Paris, and yet so different. The pubs, the theatres district, its fashion, its population, its landscape... London is charming. Noisy. Full of people holding a coffee in one hand, a bag in the other, and running into one of the Tube station, looking down the pavement. But its also the street artists in Covent Garden and Camden Market.

I remember one night when I was fifteen, I went by Leicester Square, on my way to meet with friends. But there was this guitar player, singing on the place, in front of the Odeon Cinema. After 5 minutes in total hypnosis, I finally sat down on the floor... which lead about 10 other people to follow me. We instinctly formed a circle around this guitar player for half an hour, until he finished his "gig" under applauzes. I would have never done that in Paris. Why? I guess London has some kind of intimacy, where you feel comfortable to smile back at strangers, or engage conversation with your neighbour in a café. Naturally.
