Hello my name is Ellie and I am the artist here at ElliesBabies.
Ever since I was a little girl I have had a fascination with dolls, I began making clothes for them, from about the age of seven, and as a teenager I made my own clothes, including knitting mini jumpers and crochet dresses!
I have always been interested in art in many forms and have painted in oils, acrylics and watercolour as well as different types of 3D art, I have an inbuilt need to be creative!
When my children were small I made all their clothes and had a successful cottage industry making soft toys and rag dolls.
For the last 20 years I have had my own business as a Designer/Dressmaker, mostly making beautiful wedding gowns.
Whilst I was recovering from an operation I discovered Reborn dolls on the internet and knew instantly that I had to pursue this. After much research I began reborning, and I love every minute, my skills as an artist have been stretched and my creative need very much satisfied!
I am now a very happy full time reborn artist and
I am very proud to have won the PRAISE award
