Teaching at Trillium Charter School

hi.

from this webpage you can access my class syllabi, project descriptions and due dates, advising newsletters, contact information, and my staff bio.  below are any important announcements...

Announcements

We are off to a good start on Semester 2.  The Add/Drop period has closed so any concerns or issues that may come up about a class will need to be resolved through a mediation. Students with extenuating circumstances may formally petition to be released from a class.  I can support either process, just ask.

Semester 1 grades are hot off the presses and being stuffed into envelopes as I write.  You will notice a change in the format from last year.  We are working to develop our skills and ability to evaluate student learning specifically to learning objectives and aligned assessment tools.  While we are developing this for next year our report cards are in a bit of a flux.  You'll notice some teachers wrote narratives and some did not.  If you feel like you need more information about your students class performance than the report card gives, please send me an email with your questions.

During the next two weeks I will be going over Senior transcripts with a very careful eye for detail.  I will write up a "Credit Summary and Review" for each student.  If you would like to meet in person to review this, please let me know and we will arrange a time.  Otherwise, I will mail them home after conferencing with students one on one.
