Circumstances of Disappearance
Mondelli was last seen in the Canarsie section of the New York City borough of Brooklyn on July 22, 1990. She planned to visit her daughter's aunt's residence on East 101 St. to pick up her daughter at the time of her disappearance. Elizabeth arrived as scheduled. She was last seen entering the residence on E.101 St. and has not been heard from since.


New York City Police Department refused to take a missing person report for 8 years. A missing person report was finally made in 1998. Though no evidence was found, the family believes she was the victim of foul play and presumed murdered.

Her story was aired on the TV show "MISSING" in March of 2005.
