Harry Potter: Harry is skinny and small for his age, with knobby knees and a thin face. He bears a striking resemblance to his father James, who had the same glasses and untidy black hair. But he is very like his mother, Lily with those bright green eyes of his. Born on July 31 (making him a Leo) He is both an only child and orphan. When Harry was only one both his parents were killed by the evil Lord Voldemort. Voldemort tried to kill Harry but failed and gave Harry a scar in the shape of a lightning bolt on the left side of his for head. This event has landed Harry with the nickname of “The Boy Who Lived” because he is the only person to have survived the killing curse. Like a true Gryffindor Harry is daring, resourceful, quick thinking and brave. Though he is not particularly gifted with academics, except perhaps Defense against the Dark Arts. He is providing to be a very powerful wizard and can even perform wand less magic under cretin circumstances. Over the years Harry has taken on trolls, giant snakes, criminals, dragons, death eaters and of course Voldemort. He has been accused of “acting the hero” and having a “saving people” thing, but it is his innate sense of duty and responsibility that defines who he really is. Harry is deeply loyal to Dumbledore, Hagrid and his friends. He has a generous nature, especially towards the Weaslys, whom he considers family. He doesn’t usually hold grudges (except for his nemesis Draco Malfoy)and has a strong sense of integrity and fairness. Although Harry may be a hero of the wizarding world , in some ways he is just like an average teenage boy, particularly when it comes to girls. He doesn’t know how to react around love-struck Ginny and stammers and blushes around his own crush Cho. He awkwardly seeks a date for the Yule Ball, where, to his surprise, discovers a different side of Hermione. As he gets older and begins his first relationships of sorts, Harry becomes increasingly frustrated with the inner workings of the female mind. Harry can be both strong-minded and stubborn. When he becomes fixed on an idea it can be difficult to persuaded him to think otherwise, even if it’s in his best interest to do so. He has a tendency to be secretive, especially about things he would be better off sharing with his friends. For such a kind and gentle person, Harry can have quite a temper. He is prone to acting rashly, without much thought to his consequences. However. He has a hard time following through when given an opportunity to retaliate against those who have seriously wronged him.
