I am a graduate of the University of Foreign Studies in Guangzhou, China. My educational background in English, Business, and Spanish has given me the ability to understand multi-cultural issues and law. I have a solid foundation in both written and oral English interpretation.

 

I also have excellent inter-personal and organizational skills. I am experienced in working independently and in a team environment. I have the ability to cope with the pressures of a busy work routine. I am familiar with Microsoft Office software, Window NT system to perform the routine tasks. Currently, I am employed as an Inward Investment Officer in the Foreign Consulate General. While working as an Inward Investment Officer, I have assisted in market research and in setting up the commercial visit program with company calls to Consuls, Consul-Generals and other government bodies.

 

I assisted one of the missions to Shenzhen along with Consul, Consul-General and a delegation from the Display Companies. It was a successful event well managed of with help from our Inward Investment Team.


I have worked in the following capacities as an independent consultant and trader to Foreign and local companies as my business. (2005-2006)

 

1. Worked as a Chinese teacher at the US Consulate-General. I was a listed teacher in the Consulate-General Computer System.

 

2. Assisted North-American & European Companies as an overseas foreign trader in the filed of Telecom, Industrial, Commodities in market search, sourcing, company calls, investment Fair, negotiating, paper works, translating.

 

3. Worked for a Forbes 500 US Eaton Corporation as an Assistant on the investigation project and research assessment in Shanghai liaised with US Investigations and Intelligence Corporations.

 

4. Worked as an assistant for a Singapore event planning company, negotiating with British Prudential Insurance Company. Translating for a Government construction project between a Chinese company and the Oman Government.

 

5. Worked for the Italian Company Frigel as the President's assistant. Assisted in negotiations with the Dongguan government to purchase land to build plants and import products from Italy as well as locally made products from China.

 

6. Assisted the American Tele & Internet Company to sell our products to China Unicom, which is the second most important Telephone Company in China.
