Man Has Sinned And Is Separated From God

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Hebrews 7:27 Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.

 

Christ Died For Us, While We Were Yet Sinners

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

 

The Gift Of God Is Eternal Life

John 5:24 I tell you the truth, whoever hears My (Christ) word and believes Him who sent Me (Christ) has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life

Romans 10:9-10 That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.

 

Prayer To Become A Christian

Dear God, I know that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sin. Please forgive me of my sins and let me come back to You. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I repent of my wrong doings. I believe that Jesus died for me and I accept and invite Jesus into my life as my personal Lord and Saviour. Now I have enter into the Kingdom of God and become a child of God. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

 

Congratulations! You are now a child of God

Congratulations! By saying the praying, you have now become a son/ daughter of God. Yes, it is that easy. You may or may not feel anything but God has come into your life and your life will be transformed. You need to find yourself a local church and have fellowship with other brothers and sisters in Christ. It is the start of a journey and who knows, you may soon be writing a story about your life and the adventures you have with God!

As a young christian, I would recommend the following books as basic reading materials in your new journey with God as a child of God.

I would like to recommend the following books to mature christians. These books are harder to read and may take some time to digest but I myself have found them to be highly enlightening, especially the books by Watchman Nee on the Holy Spirit. They are generally very good and very deep.
