Thank You For Visiting...
I am Elijah Gbralee, a Liberian Penecostal Pastor living at the Buduburam Refugee Camp in
Ghana.
I write to you people on behalf of our
Liberian Refugee Church here in Ghana. There are approximately 35,000
Liberian refugees in this camp, including women and children. Some of
us have been exiled here for over 16 years. Our population is filled with need.
We have elderly who are no longer to care for themselves who are desperate for food.
There are orphans, who will never know their mothers or fathers being raised in our orphanage.
There are widows, whose husbands are missing in action from the Liberian Civil War.
Combined, we are a flock of wounded people. We are afflicted physically through starvation and spiritually through emotional distress. Without our faith we would be tossed into the darkness of the false religions that saturate the population of this camp.
By God's grace alone, we as a faithful church have been raised to give life and comfort to them through God's Word, but we cannot do this without your help.
Please pray for us. Any help that you might offer is welcomed and cherished. If you would like more information on our specific needs, please see our "Urgent Needs" page.
God bless you! We pray for you too.
In Jesus name,
Pastor Elijah R. Gbarlee
