This site is my fansite for the race of men in the Lord of the Rings (and other of Tolkien's realted works). However, I do have some non-human galleries and other things on the site.
I made this site originally as a humans page for a guild(club) I am in. But also, I am, of course, a big Lord of the Rings fan. The humans, in general, are not usally a big focal point for people who have read the books, but I like them. Also, some of my favorite characters (Eowyn, Aragorn) happen to be humans.
As I made this site to be about humans, I wanted a name that had to do with humans. At that time, I was reading The Silmarillion. I was (and still am) intrigued by the story of Numenor so I chose that name for my site.

My name is Ashley, I live in the US (Jersey).
Im sure you can tell I love lotr(an obsession more correctly stated). I first read the Lord of the Rings trilogy in the summer of 2002, while I was on a trip to Florida. I hadn't liked the hobbit(which I read in 5th grade), but I was very bored and out of books so I decided to try it.
I started this site (my first) on (about) October 12, 2002.
