Elemeno p begin planning a 3rd Album [posted July 1st]

As of a few months ago, elemeno p have made plans to record a 3rd album. At this time, they're in the writing and bringing ideas to the table stage, so not much is going on in elemeno p land, so, until we have an exciting new updates, elemeno peeps are going on hiatus!
don't hesitate to contact us during the time we're away, we do check our emails! so stay in touch :D
also, we're trying to get some more members to join our fanlisting. Here's a copy of the email that was sent out to nearly all members signed up to the list this evening:
Hey there!
in a hopeful attempt to get some more members to join our fanlisting, we've asked you, as a listed member, to spread the word to any elemeno p fans you know to sign up to our list!
The list has been inactive, and no new sign ups, since march this year, and there is only 38 members to date! ugh! so, if you would be so kind as to copy and paste the following html into a myspace bulletin, or other means to spread the word, we would much appreciate it!!!

SXSW and UK Tour, coming up from March 10 2007

So far, no supporting act has been confirmed for the UK tour dates, however, after researching friend's of Elemeno p's, Elemenopeeps has come to the conclusion that the wonderful Steriogram are the supporting act for this tour.
Look out, Britain and America! Elemeno p are heading your way!
By the way, if you would like to meet the band, do not hesitate to try and catch them backstage or outside the venue. I'm sure they would love to meet international fans!

Elemeno p's new video for S.O.S.

Hey kids, elemeno p's new video for S.O.S., featuring their fans rocking out, was aired on c4 in the last day or two with great responces! 4/5 of the webmasters of elemeno peeps are in the video, so if you are in NZ and happen to catch it on the tv at some stage, have a look for us!
Gibbo has told everyone through myspace that the video will be uploaded to the internet as soon as possible. So international people [quite a few who are in the video as well!] will get to see it then.
As well as this good video news, elemeno p signed up to a great site called Reverbnation, so, head on over to their page and check them out, sign up, and become a fan =]
AND, i have been working on making some great ring tones for your cell phones, better than the shotty versions available on this site. they will be up sometime this week, so download them and play them on your cell to get the elemeno word out!

November 16th, Be in Elemeno p's new video!!

SO elemeno p are getting ready for their next single S.O.S, And they want the fans to be in the video!!
All you have to do is-
- Video yourself Singing, Playing, dancing or whatever else you can think of to part of the song. -Upload it to YouTube - Post a link on Elemeno P's myspace blog titled "Be in our new video". And then a bunch of footage will be chosen for the video, How cool!!] Vids need to be in by Aprox the 22nd of novemeber. Chur

November 9th, U2charist free concert

On the 17th November, there will be a U2charist concert for the Make Poverty History campaign. Dave Gibson will be attending to make a speech, and rumour has it, DJing for the event. for more details, visit this article on Thread Magazine's website.

October 25, Trouble in Paradise SE give away

If you would like a signed copy of Elemeno p's special edition 'Trouble in Paradise', its as easy as blowing your nose. Elemeno p like it when people have their myspace profile song an elemeno p song, it's a ego thing for them!. So here is what you have to do to score yourself a free, signed, cd.

• Change your myspace profile song to S.O.S from their page
• get 10 friends to do the same
• email me dave@elemenop.co.nz your and your 10 myspace friends address(URL's)
• dont forget: your full name and postal address in the email

You can enter as much as you like or until stock runs out. [i guess this means that you can get more and more friends to add the song to their page, and you will get more cds?]. However, no doubling up can occur, meaning its you and 10 of your friends, and their links cannot be re-used by anyone else. so get in before your mates can.

You can apply for this give away from anywhere in the world, so hop to it youngsters!

October 18th Extension, The Results are in!!!

For those who dont want to know the tui results, please, stop reading this now!

The results are in and elemeno p have taken 1/4 awards. sadly, all of our efforts have not worked, and the people's choice award was not won by our fave band. This award went to...another band i forgot the name of...

Elemeno p won the best group award. congratulations guys! an award of recognition is finally yours. and you diserve it people.

Elemeno p also performed at the awards, with the stereogram bassist, and a cutout of lani on stage. Pictures are coming soon from my personal live feed who alerted me of the haps while it happened as i was in a meeting. wonderful. cheers yo.

Today i went into the local dairy and my sister spotted this, Front page, NZ herald. Amazing.

September 23rd, Update from ashlee

Well, we have been very busy letting people know about the NZMA On myspace and Elsewhere.
The pic below.. Is being used on myspace as Dp's by Lots of people, Save it to your computer and make it your profile pic on myspace and wherever else you want..

Also last month Elemeno P did a 45 minute free concert in wanaka to open the new snow park, which was played on mtv today.
Just by chance i turned the tv on and got to see the whole show!!
They played well considering they were in the snow.. brr
And even Miss Lani played, Pregnant and all!!
They played a decent amount of songs, Starting with Verona..
and ending with you are. I was surprized to see Lani still doing all her moves.. and playing as good as ever!!

August 29th, Update in elemeno p land

Righto, so there hasnt been much happening in elemeno p land at the moment, however this does not mean that this site and its webmasters are inactive! please make sure that you keep in touch with us, any submissions would be greatly appreciated.

We are in the midst of planning amoungst ourselves a new web design, which might [not sure yet] incude a members page only with exclusive info...who knows. its going to be a lot easier to navigate through and easier for us to maintain too.

We are also going to bring up the quality of some of the stuff on here, well me personally, i cannot stop thinking about the free elemeno p unofficial and unapproved..sorry guys...ringtones that we have on here. ill personally be only using the singles, as they currently are on the page, as the only available ringtones, and sadly, yes these are only available for mp3 compatible phones. They will be of better quality, and last longer too.

August 14th, Baby Charlie

Ok, so it has been an incredibly long time since anyone has said anything on this site, how effing boring for you all. So, i figured i would just update with some cute photos Miss Lani Purkis allowed people on her myspace to view, of her son to come, charlie. [elemeno peeps is unsure if this is really his name, but has heard alot suggesting it is, so will go with it]


So yep, these are some of those cool 4D images mothers-to-be can have these days, and elemeno peeps on behalf of all those cool people on Lani's myspace thank her for this inside look into her bubba's life. a future rocker kid he is. We all love you Lani, and wish you the best for the rest of your pregnancy!
