Thank you for visiting this site. Unfortunately it's been over a year since I created a Phantom related wallpaper or art. This is because as time goes on I'm busy elsewhere with daily rituals of life and that like all other obsessions before I slowly loosen from the grip the subject has on me. This doesn't mean I'm no longer a fan!! However I'm afraid I'm pass the stage of preoccupying myself with the phantom phantom phantom!!
I did recently watch the film again for the first time in over a year and am sad to say I'm not as spell-binded by it as I was. I've become far too fond of the Erik created by Susan Kay to imagine one different from him! As gorgeous as the costumes, sets, music, lighting and core story that is told in the movie adaptation ... this Phantom is no longer believable to me. This isn't by lack of acting skills (Gerry is a wonderful actor!!) I just can't look past the small mask and believe someone so tanned skinned and incredibly attractive could be the self loathing harrowing man that is the Phantom of the Opera!! In fact if I'm too be honest it's a shame how Joel Schumacher handled this film and yet I have to thank this film for getting me hooked back then as it has lead me to find the various stories of Erik which I now adore. Funny how things turn around really...
Anyway, I know that long write up wasn't necessary I could have just written Site closed! No more new work from now on! but an explanation felt fitting.

with the serious stuff out of the way, I'd like to say a big Thank you to all those who wrote such warm comments to me and taken the time to tell me they've appreciated the work. Or even if you haven't written to me, if you've enjoyed my work I'm happy for it. I only ever continued to make this work for those people. And if you're a fan of Phantom of the Opera and haven't read the original "The Phantom of the Opera" book by Gaston Leroux or "Phantom" by Susan Kay I cannot stress how much you need to read these, especially Susan Kays adaptation!!! This is where the real Erik lives!
