If you found this website, you know me from the WW 50# or New Moms message boards. Since I joined WW in March 2007, I've been inspired by so many of the people on that board, and their websites, that I decided to share my story too.
Thanks for visiting!
**January 2009 Update - It's a BOY!!
I'm back! My adorable baby BOY was born on September 18, 2008 via C-section. Check out some pictures of him in the Photo Gallery.
I gained a total of 33 pounds during the pregnancy (feel free to check out my Pregnancy Pics), lost 18 lbs immediately, and now am back on Weight Watchers to help me lose the other 15. I'd actually like to lose 20 pounds to put me back into the 160s for the first time since I was a teenager, many many years ago.
I am starting 2009 committed 100% to losing weight and getting into the best shape of my life. I've even decided to train for the 10-mile Broad Street Run in Philadelphia in May.
**September 2008 Update
WW is technically on hold because I am pregnant again! Baby #2 is scheduled to arrive on September 18, 2008 via planned C-section. This pregnancy I am focused on staying in shape and not gaining too much weight. Even now, at the end of the 3rd trimester, I still exercise a good amount (I walk about 10 miles a week). I even continued jogging until about halfway through the 2nd trimester. And because I don't want to get out of the habit of journaling, I'm still tracking my food intake daily, and weighing myself almost everyday, just to stay accountable.
So far it's working pretty well. As of mid-September, I'm 38 weeks pregnant and happy to report that, despite the fact that this baby craves naughty, very non-WW things like Doritoes, M&Ms, Cheetos, ice cream and even margaritas (and no, I'm not giving into that one), I've gained a pretty respectable 28 lbs so far (more than 1/2 of which has been in the past 9 weeks!). It's definitely more than I wanted to gain, but at this point, with my OB telling me I'm measuring "large" and most people telling me that I'm "all baby" or "all belly", I'm hoping that at least 1/2 of those 28 lbs comes off as soon as the baby is born.
Only 9 more days to go!! Feel free to check out my pregnancy pics on the Photo Gallery page, and thanks for visiting my site! :)
