52 KE class buses / coaches were built for CIE by Bombardier. Well, 51 actually. The first was the FFG built prototype KE1 which appeared in 1978, and the last was a demonstration vehicle, which no-one wanted to have shown to them, and so became KE52 in the CIE fleet. Dogged by problems, such as wheels falling off and steering issues, the coach version was universally unpopular as it was neither high enough nor glazed sufficiently for this type of work. Even on launch day the Mayor of Limerick was dispatched to Barrington's Hospital when a shard of glass from the breaking champagne bottle went into his eye, while the dignataries sat at the side of the road when KE4 decided not to cooperate on the way to the launch bash.
KE6 (6 VZJ) at Broadstone
KE9 (9 VZJ) pauses at Cahir on the Dublin / Cork express. I wonder if the kid to the right became an enthusiast?
KE11 (11 VZJ) loads at Busaras for Letterkenny, the route it started on

Is it a coach? Is it a bus? No, its a KE, in this case KE41 at Busaras
