Pity the poor painter (as they were all hand painted) that had to paint peas on D16 (VZI 16) photographed here at the old Ballast Office at O'Connell Bridge

D189 (VZI 189)  travels down Church Lane onto College Green as an all-over-ad for HGW Paints. D67 was similarly treated in Cork

Whatever about the poor painter and the peas on D16, this one below, D269 (VZI 269) as an a-o-a for Smarites must have sent them all into the rubber room of the local  asylum

What must have been the most boring and dull a-o-a was this one D391 (391 IK) for Phoenix Assurance pictured here on O'Connell Street

One of my favourite photographs to have taken is this one of D546 (546 ZD) on O'Connell Bridge in May 1979. Note the line up of RA's on Eden Quay in the background
