Eggstar Cavies is a small stud in Hoo, Nr Rochester, Kent. I have always had the odd guinea pig or two and a few rabbits, cats and of course my dogs who I compete with at agility shows most weekends. That was up until about 2 years ago when I started getting a few more piggies here and their and taking over my hubbys work shop (as you do!). So he built me a nice big shed and caged it out for me, bless him, and said I could do what I want in it. So now I am up to about 35 guinea pigs, and four rabbits. My main breeds are rex, selfs, pets and I have just aquired a couple of cream dutch with a few more in the pipe line. Eggstar Cavies also offers boarding accomadation whilst you are on holiday and a boutique service which includes bathing, nail trims and sexing if required.
Quite a few of my piggies are famous as they were used in the Egg credit card adverts, so I am very proud of owning a few famous piggies hence the stud name of Eggstar Cavies!

First of all for selling me some nice guinea pigs and for getting me started with exhibiting my piggies. If it wasn't for their knowledge and patience I wouldn't know what I do today - like not bathing a rex before a show!!!!!! so thanks again girls and of course to your kind friends you introduced me to at shows who have helped me as well.
