Here, U can see the doggies anyway and everywhere. Either strolling along the bay or park with their master, as a passenger in the car or shopping centre. Unlike our place, there are more doggies than cats. To the local, the doggies become part of their family and a loyal friend to them. To us, it's stressful when the doggies are being too friendly by sniffing or licking our leg or simply get into body contact.
Most of the local like active lifestyles such riding bikes & jogging. There are special lanes for the bikers & joggers along bay & most of the residential areas. Wearing a helmet & turn on lights during night time is compulsory. Of course, safety comes first...
Besides active lifestyles, the local seems to love gathering with friends or family members activities such as barbeque, partying and clubbing. For instance, when it comes to birthday party, plenty ideas on the themes, locations etc on how to celebrate it. Moreover, the barbeque facilities also can easily be found in certain parks for public use.
I noticed that most of the local are very concious on cost saving ie electricity and water usage. To the extent that the light is turn on only at an occupied room. For energy saving, most of the houses use bulb instead of fluorecent light. They also being advised to use the water wisely especially when sprinkling their gardens or yards.
Recycling is also an important issue. Beside segregating the rubbish, all junk furniture will be collected according to its schedule set by the Council on each suburb. The resident will be updated regarding any issue by their respective Council through the newsletter in the mail box every month. The local also can drop in the outdated or unwanted handphone in the drop box placed at phone shop for recycling.
Bak kata masuk kandang harimau mengaum,masuk kandang kambing mengembek, kalau dah ada kat tempat orang tu,kena pandai2la adjust dengan budaya dia:-
Kalau bagi present untuk apa2 occassion, U all jgnla suprise sbb the local ni akan bukak tang2 tu jugak. If bagi present yg tak berapa nak best tu, tau2 la ye. Jadi kena prepare la present yang gempak2 sikit supaya tak la berapa nak malu.
If driving, make sure you are in the right lane. Be prepared to make u turn at any necessary place if you're already in wrong lane.. It is rude to change lane last minute and at the same time to avoid any accident too...Most of the drivers are following the queue even motorcycles..this cause less traffic jam on the road...
Still on driving issue, you have to fully utilised in using signal. Kalau kat traffic light,even u dah memang in the right lane utk belok kanan atau kiri,U still have to give your signal..
Back seat passengers must always fasten their seat belts whenever on the move.
It's all about honesty when it comes to fuel your car tank. Why? Here, the local only pay after they fill up the tank.
Nak gi shopping atau beli groceries kat sini almost of them bawak bag shopping cam beg canvas tu.Kalau setakat beli 1-3 barang,the staff akan tanya nak bag plastik tak?Kalau boleh diorang ni nak jimat plastik bag sebab concern on recyle...
These are benda2 dan term2 yg digunakan oleh local kat sini.So,nanti tau la what it is ..if happen to be in Aussie.
Don't be suprised if U meet some of the local who kaki ayam everywhere.Be it in the shopping mall, tepi jalan atau mana-mana je. Dari budak kecik sampaila dewasa. I'm still wondering what is the reason behind. Kalau tempat kita,hanya orang **** je yg kaki ayam....
Memang kena ada bila time winter.Kalau tak gigil la jawabnya.Tapi electric blanket ni tak bahaya,kita letak je atas tilam,lepas tu letak la cadar.Sebelum tido,preheat dulu ikut panas mana kita suka (cam nak masak dlm oven lak).Agak2 dah 5-10 minit tu boleh lah tido..Sodap..rasa suam2 kuku jer.
Heater ni pun tak kurang pentingnya masa winter ganti unggun api.
Ni kalau tempat kita panggil bekal sekolah je.Kat sini siap ada bekas khas+beg.Kalau boleh dalam lunch box tu kenalah ada buah dan homemade dishes.They stressed on healthy foods for the kids.Tapi design dia fancy2,naik rambang mata kalau nak membeli.
Memang wajib untuk baby & toddler.Kalau driving tanpa all these, siapla,kena denda jawabnya..

Upon arrival,make sure declare apa-apa yang patut seperti dalam form declaration tu.Kalau tak sure benda tu patut ke tak declare,advisable declare je.Custom dia bukan apa,dorang ni pentingkan honesty.Kalau kita menipu.Haah..siapla kena denda atau dia buang je benda2 yang tak patut dibawa kat sini tanpa banyak soal..
Kalau bawak ubat tu make sure ada prescription doktor ok?
Barang makan tu advisable tak yah la bawak..bukan apa kat sini pun macam-macam ada..
Kalau nak shopping atau makan kat sini janganla cuba2 nak convert berapa RM kita.Alamatnya U guys tak membeli la jawabnya.Apa nak berkira,pejam mata dan beli je.
It's advisable to pay a visit on Autumn(March-May) or Spring (Sept-Nov).Waktu tu nyaman, tak berapa panas atau sejuk sangat.Kalau U all nak rasa musim winter pun apa salahnya.Siap je la jaket tebal,scarf,beanie dan gloves.Suhunya boleh tahan, 3-18 celcius.Tapi salji jangan haraple.Setakat ni memang takde.
