In September 2001, homeschooling parents with a desire to create opportunities for group learning experiences, came together and set the foundation of what we now know as "EduKids". God has blessed this effort, and over the years, we have seen our co-op grow by leaps and bounds in the regional homeschooling community, as families from several counties in Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois, gather weekly for academic enrichment, support, friendship and fun!
EduKids is pleased to serve families with children of all ages, from newborn through high school. Each semester includes academic classes, clubs, physical education activities, social events, field trips and more! Parents stay connected and build friendships by visiting in the teacher's lounge, and keep up with all the latest happenings with each issue of the EduKids monthly newsletter.
EduKids is not only an outstanding choice for homeschool families, it is also an affordable one! A year's membership fee is only $75, no matter how big one's family may be!
Our co-op has two semesters per year and meets weekly on Fridays at St. James West, UMC, which is located at 3111 Hillcrest Terrace in Evansville's westside. We gather from 9:00 am - 12 noon for regular classes with optional activities for teens in the afternoons.
We are served by a board of directors who receive valuable assistance and input throughout the year from our co-op families. Together, we continually strive to make the homeschooling co-op experience the best it can be!
