SPRING 2008 BEEF PRICES

(prices are subject to change)

We grass-finish our beef and then we will transport the live beef to the meat processor of your choice. 

We will require a deposit of: 

$500.00 /whole beef ordered

$300.00 /half beef ordered

$150.00 /quarter beef ordered

to be received before we will transport the beef to the meat processor.

After the meat processor gets the hanging weight, the meat will be aged

for 10-14 days.  As soon as we have the hanging weight from the processor,

you will owe us the remainder of the cost of the beef based on that weight. 

After we receive your final payment, you will be able to contract with the meat

processor and have your beef custom-cut the way you want it.  

This way you will be able to receive the specific cuts and package sizes and weights that best meet the needs of your family. 

 You will be responsible for paying the processor on the meat pickup day.

DEPOSITS:

DEPOSITS:  deposits are non-refundable.  They are transferrable from one animal to another of equal quality in the event of sickness or death of the animal that has been tagged to your family.  In the event a transfer has to be made you will be notified and it will be for the same year as originally offered.  If in the unlikely event we are unable to fill your order as originally agreed upon and in the same year the deposit was intended for, your deposit will be refunded in full.

1.  WHOLE BEEF:  $2.85 /pound hanging weight.

This price includes delivery to the processor of your choice within 100 miles. 

**We require a deposit before delivery to the processor,

with the remainder due after hanging weight is determined by the processor. 

**You will be responsible for 'processing' payment to the meat processor upon meat pickup.**

Delivery of the finished meat is possible for an additional fee.  Please ask for details.

2.  HALF BEEF:  $2.95 /pound hanging weight.

  We can usually match you up with somebody else

 if you are only interested in buying a half beef.

This price includes delivery to the processor of your choice within 100 miles.

**You will be responsible for 'processing' payment to the meat processor upon meat pickup.**

3.  QUARTER (SPLIT HALF): $3.00 /pound hanging weight. 

 You will not have much flexibility in cuts and package sizes as they will be standard.

If you can find a friend to go in on a quarter with you then you could use the 'half beef' pricing and it would be easier to work out cut sizes ect.

**You will be responsible for 'processing' payment to the meat processor upon meat pickup.**
