The Pokémon Trading Card Game State Championships are taking place from March 4-19, 2006 during weekends. These events are free and all participants receive a special State Championship promo card for participating in the tournament. Battle categories are determined by your age. UPN and WB are merging in September to form CW. CBS and Time Warner hold equal shares of this new network. There is no news yet on the programming schedule.

2006 marks the 10-year anniversary of Pokémon. Back in 1996, Pokémon Red and Green hit the shelves in Japan and the game series took off, sparking an anime and card game.
